This place is huge! 2 story giant warehouse that keeps going and going! The prices were too high for me, even though it’s an outlet. The building itself is falling apart. The sales staff was helpful and very unobtrusive. Which is great… any sales pressure and I shut down. Ultimately, this was not the place for us, but I can see it being the place for many others. Bonus! One of the salesmen looks and dresses JUST like Walter White from Breaking Bad… I have a crush on Brian Cranston, so I mean this as a high compliment

Family owned business, which may be the reason why I had such a better experience here vs other furniture stores, most notably Pilgrim Milford. The people in this store took the time to actually look into and answer my questions over the phone, so when I drove an hour to see for myself in-store I was not disappointed. I received the same level of help in-store as I did over the phone. Prices on most items were also cheaper than the bigger name stores. Will likely be back for my future furniture purchases!

If I could leave a lower review than a 1, I would! Awful experience. We ordered our couch with delivery expected before we had company for Thanksgiving, all went well up until it was delivered. I took time off of work for the delivery. Once it came in, I immediately noticed a large puncture mark in one of the cushions. It was very apparent someone tried to stitch it back together and did a terrible job! I called and spoke to Pedro, who said they inspected it before it left the warehouse, and had no damage. He assured me it would be repaired within a week(before thanksgiving) and that Bessie would call me later. Several days went by when I had to follow up with Bessie. She acted like she had no idea about the issue. She said she would order the new cushion and would call when it comes in. About a month went by when I called Bessie again. It took her a long to recall our previous conversation, and once she did I got the same answer-It was on order and she would call me. Bessie assured me it would be repaired before Christmas. It is now New Years at the time of this writing and still no update, couch is still torn, no refund, nothing. Customer service is non-existent. I would have gladly paid more for furniture had I known this would have been our experience. I absolutely will be pursuing further action against Puritan!

So this is a nice little(or rather large) furniture store in Whetherside that really looks like it has seen better days. I def agree with some other reviews to not expect a lot of variety from them because it is discount. Also don’t judge from the outside(or even inside) appearance. Does this place need a remodeling? Oh yes, the inside is stuck from the 70s and when we visted it was clear that they needed to fix a leak in the roof HOWEVER, that did not take away from the fantastic furniture inside. Now my being a no-so-recent-but-still-pretty-recent-graduate-from-college person puts me on a budget and this place was *almost* perfect. They had all kinds of cool and different printed furniture that seemed to be of great quality. And I know its pretty good quality since my family has been buying from this store for years. Also hands down, the best part about this place are the sales people. All are super friendly, a little stern sometimes, but ready to help you and answer any questions. They are also very upfront with their poilces on returns and the like so that you are prepared for them. Example, I wanted a mini cabient for my room and put a «hold» on it(it was $ 200, LOVED it, but the price was a little much) anyway, I called the next day to cancel the order because my father told me he would just build me one(yay!). I was told on the phone that I should expect that they money be returned to my creditcard within the next week. A couple of weeks pass and I noticed that they charge had remained the same. –sigh– pick up the phone and give them a call. A friendly salesman named Steve helped me out and apologized over and over on how that was missed and that they would expediate the refund(it seems they have a different process for refunds?) and that someone would contact me tomorrow. So I was really happy with that and it immediately put me out of my irritated mood. So thumbs up for that! Bottom line: this place is run by people who look like they have been doing this their entire lives, salespeople who know their stuff, return people who know their stuff.

Great experience at Puritan! My wife and I are first time furniture buyers, we recently bought a table and chair set, exactly what we wanted had it delivered a few days later noticed a tear in the chair and one was loose. Called talked to Steve our sales rep. And no questions asked replaced them. Customer service was great, they were not pushy gave us room to talk and decide on what we wanted. My brother also bought a couch from there he really enjoys. We had Steve but honestly everyone there seemed very nice. Hope this helps any new buyers or anyone looking to buy new furniture.
