Planet Fitness – Wethersfield

Been a PF member for a year now. Frequented the locations in middletown NY, Enfield ct, and manchester ct. This is the nicest planet fitness I’ve ever been to. The facility is clean, spacious and staff is friendly. I go on weekdays and its never been over crowded or even close. Their machines are clean and well organized.
Part of the reason I joined as a black card member was for the unlimited tanning and this one has the best tanning beds I’ve ever used at any pf. I was blown away because the other locations didn’t have great tanning beds and no matter what I could never get more than a base. I’m finally not pasty white any more! Wasn’t going to renew my membership here but I’ve changed my mind after moving closer to this area and using the one wethersfield

Since the beginning my membership 4 month ago there has only been stress with the billing. This gym is horrible with there billing. I was told they could change the dates of deductions and that was incorrect. Then they would go into my account 4 times and cause major damage to my bank account. When I nicely called to speak with a manager (Matt) he stated that he was sorry and he would look into this matter and he would stop my billing and would call me back with answer. Well he never called me back and again billing went to my account again. When I called again not happy and explain he was surprised but stated I going home for the day and I can’t take of this now. You have someone managing your office like that? I have 5 accounts with planet fitness and when I asked to speak with corporate office he stated he could give me that information and when I asked to speak to owner Mike he stated he will let him know still no phone call not even a curiosity call. I believe Mike doesn’t know that manager advised me that he would stop all billing and that is not what happened. I ask again I need someone to contact me in regards to this. I have been a part of Wethersfield for many years and can’t understand how and who let this company with these rules into our town. Maybe I need to speak to town representative on the matter.

I’ve been a member of many a gym and by far this is the cleanest gym I have ever seen and not because it is new. The entire chain of Planet Fitness is like this.
Staff is pleasant and attentive always ready to answer a question. If they don’t know the answer they will find someone who does. I’ve never used the Personal Trainer so I can’t speak to that, however it truly is a judgement free zone all over.
I’m a Black Card Member so I get all their perks; tanning, massage tables, Angel, bring a buddy and half price drinks. Love the price point for all of this as it’s more than fair.

This is a new gym so everything is new, in amazing condition and is nicely laid out. This gym is lighter and brigher than other Planet Fitness locations I have visited and I have to say that this is hands down one of the best gyms that I have found. This particular location is clean, great equipment, the temperature is perfect for working out, the staff is nice and its $ 10 a month. I really dont think you can ask for a better deal anywhere! Keep up the good work PF Wethersfield!

it’s a brand new facility and they’re always walking around mopping, cleaning equipment and just generally maintaining the place. everyone there is friendly and helpful. they do pizza and bagels on the first monday of every month (i believe?) bae and i signed up for 20 $/​mo which includes unlimited classes (which cap at 5 so you’re always getting individualized attention), tanning (stand up and lay down beds) and they also have hydro-​massage beds and massage chairs. the hydro-​massage beds are divine and worth their weight in gold. believe that. they’re also open 24 hours mon​day​-thurs​day​.so NO EXCUSES! i’m not normally a proponent of gyms but with all of the perks i might be converted!

I joined this gym for a couple of reasons. One it’s closer to where I live and two it’s cleaner than my last gym. The bonuses are that it’s less expensive than my last gym and they offer aqua massage and tanning if that’s your thing. I will say I’ve tried the massage it’s a nice little treat after a workout. No where near like a massage therapist but a nice little treat. They don’t offer classes per se but I don’t usually take classes anyway. They also have this 30 moon workout room that if in a pinch or for the novice it’s a good option. The staff is also very nice and friendly.
