I called to get an estimate. The person I spoke with was very helpful. She told me what the probable causes were for my problems and discussed the various options regarding repair. We determined that the laptop was not worth fixing. I was very impressed with the professional nature and quality of this response.

I was in the middle of a busy work day and my lap top screen shut off. Instead of chucking it across the office I made the wise decision to call computech. This was Thursday morning, and not only did I have excel sheets on there that I needed, I was leaving Friday night for vacation! After calming down and packing up my computer I headed across town to computech and was greeted right away by a very understanding receptionist. I filled out a sheet describing the issue and explained that I needed it fixed asap. While I was busy researching new laptops and preparing for the worst computech came through in the clutch. Not only did I get my laptop back in less than 24 hours, it is running much faster! I also noticed an updated security software that hopefully will prevent the problem from happening again in the future! Thanks computech!

Very disappointed in that I told them the problem and they claim it took them an hour to figure out the problem. They called a place to get a new drum that was on back order, when they called back about the back order they were told they had to order five of the product. I ended up buying the replacement drum for the printer. The only thing they had to do was remove the old drum and put in the new drum which on the ACTUAL work order said it took a 30 hour of time, but for this whole situation they charged me for 1 and a half hours at a billing rate of $ 105.00 an hour. I know the receptionist was who talk to me the most and probably made calls to parts vendor. If they do this with a walk in I can just imagine what they do to businesses.
