Atlas Tile Carpet & Wood Flooring

Great selection of all different kinds of flooring. Very helpful and friendly staff. My wife and I were retiling a ½ bath with mosaic floor tiles purchased at a big box store but we needed a special thin-​set mortar so we went to Atlas. They were very patient with all our questions and offered some great tips and pointers. We will shop here again. They have been in business since the 60’s, they must be doing it right.

There is a large selection of unique laminate, hardwood carpeting and tile. It is definetly all on a higher price tag and you will absolutely find these items for a lot less online.
I originally came in to look at quick step laminate and even at their discounted price it was 2 $ over other places per sqft. The first employee we approached was quick to tell us he knows nothing and cannot help… not sure why he was even there to be honest… maybe to stand by the door.. not sure. As many things do not have pricing on them we asked for help from an older gentleman who seemed rather annoyed by our request for prices, asking him questions about anything regarding the products was like pulling tooth and nail.
Second time I came I was searching for glass tiles which there is a lot of choices here, an employee endured being asked about the prices of all the tiles I was interested in and although not very knowledgeable about the products he didn’t mind quickly looking up the details.
Overall it’s a good place to come if your budget is flexible and you quickly need to update the look of your home.
On the turnpike, ample parking

I spent almost 3K in this store and when I tried to return a defective bag of grout STEVE refused– I even had to stick my hand into the bag to show him the clumps. He never even offered to let me wash my hand! I had to ask! I later found out that his prices were way higher than a national tile chain– despite his «contractor’s discount» Way to Go STEVE! You can bet that I will be telling this to friends and future customers who may be interested in tile. AVOID THIS BUSINESS
