I just had a marble top installed in my bathroom. We are very happy with the look and quality. The price was competitive and delivery date was as promised. I dealt with George(I think he’s the owner) and Mona. Both were very helpful in guiding us. I would use them again.

I walked into the store to find that the owner of the Vanity World also ownes Westwood Cabinetry when one of the sales rep from another store told me I could find the person in charge here. Since financial transaction/agreement did transpire at the store, here’s my review. Long story short, we came to an agreement(more less ‘take it or leave it’) for a refund due to mis representation of the product that was sold at the Westwood Cabinetry store. I handed my credit card that I purchased the product with and was told that I will get a check in a mail instead. Several weeks later, with not check in the mail, I am getting yelled by George about the review I wrote before we agreed to the refund amount on the phone. I went to the next step and filed a complaint against the BBB, and voluntary mediation service from the DA’s office which everyone gave up. The volunteer read my review and saw nothing wrong with it. If you have any problems, the owner will disappear and hide. If you find him, he will be confrontational and take on a condescending tone. His words to us at Westwood Cabinetry store was«I am getting rid of yous.». If he promises a refund, don’t expect to get it. He will come up with numerous excuses. He also has a very short temper and will not hesitate to talk down to customers(myself and my wife) in front of everyone and scream at the customers on the phone.

We went to Westwood for granite kitchen countertops after having a good experience at their sister company Vanity World for our bathroom vanity. DONOTGOTOWESTWOODCABINETRY!!! Here’s why: 1) They are not good granite cutters — didn’t tell us until installation, but cut a seam in the granite by the sink. Other installers have told us they could have done it in one piece. Not to mention, the seam is so poorly cut, it’s chipping and hideous. It’s rough and ugly — a total disappointment. 2) The first(yes, they had to come multiple times) granite they installed was TWODIFFERENT colors! Claimed it was from the same slab, but obviously not. 3) When installing the second version — they cut it uneven so it looks ridiculous. And now they will not make any corrections, even after measuring it themselves and seeing that the overhang is over an INCH different from one side to the other. Grrrr… they cost more than twice what others cost and it looks less than half as good! 4) Oh yes, then there was the incident where they tried to run over our property manager with the granite on the way into the building. We could have been sued. The cutter/installer was so rude and unprofessional. 5) The sink insert that was supposed to be free has yet to be delivered to us — they are so shady! 6) They are supposed to be cutting us a check because we overpaid but they are totally giving us the runaround. I doubt we ever see the money from these sketchy people. 7) They sold us a faulty faucet and we had the hardest time getting them to replace it. This has been the biggest headache we’ve ever had to deal with on home renovations! We got quotes for less than half the price from people on . They are 100% more professional and kind and I wish we had never stepped foot in Westwood Cabinetry. Whatever you do — do NOT use them, unless you want crappy granite that’s crooked, and an empty pocketbook!
