Marcie & Me

Marcie and Me offers a wonderful mommy & me class. I have done the mommy and me class with each of my boys individually as well as a sibling class with the boys together. Marcie and the other teachers are fun, engaging and energetic. Unlike other classes my children have taken, Marcie’s classes are all encompassing. They start with free play, which includes pretend and dramatic play, art exploration, sensory activities, and puzzles, and move into circle time, and snack and storytime. The baby class is a shorter version, which caters to the younger set’s attention span. The next class is a little longer and includes a snack and storytime.
I have seen tremendous growth in my children while in her program. I still remember sitting next to my oldest son that first time after completing the baby program. Watching him sit in a chair, eating Marcie’s cute themed snack, while listening attentively to the story being read and looking so closely at the pictures on each page, I felt a tear in my eye at how grown up he was. Her program got him ready for preschool.
My kids and I have made lifelong friends through Marcie’s program.
I love taking developmental classes with my children. We have done countless classes, but we keep coming back to Marcie and me. Her offering is very unique. It’s not easy to incorporate all of these activities in a cohesive program and I’m so glad we did that trial class almost three years ago. My two sons, who are now almost four and two, and I have learned so much from it. My older son loves singing the songs with his little brother, and I can’t wait for the day that we can sing those same songs with their baby sister!

The Marcie and Me Program stands out compared to other children’s classes. The curriculum based program encourages young children to learn using all kinds of modalities. Each week there is a theme which is reinforced through play, creative art projects, decorations, water table, story time and even the snack. The themes are appropriate for the seasons, holidays, and young interests.
Music is also a large part of the class and I like the consistency of singing the same songs week after week so the kids get used to the words.
The routine of class is also consistent so the children get familiar as to what they can expect.
All activities are well thought out and creative.
Moms can interact with each other while the kids are engaging in educationAl play; all toys are age appropriate.
Everyone looks forward to the weekly photos of all the kids which can be taken home.
As you can tell I have been extremely pleased with this program and recommend it highly.
Btw I am a grandma and bring my granddaughter. Nannies are also welcome to bring children if necessary.
Definitely give it a try

Marcie and Me program is fantastic! I searched long hard to find a place to bring my son that was educational, fun, and clean! It was harder to find then I imagined until I found Marcie and me. Marcie’s program is truly wonderful. Not only does she help develop the individual strengths of all the children but she truly cares about the kids and the moms! She is so accommodating in developing new programs based on parent suggestions as well as offering such an amazing variety of programs for kids of all young ages. I really wanted my son to have a chance to socialize with other children and also to have a place I could go to talk with other moms and get out of the house on those long days! Marcie and Me was the perfect fit and I have seen my son grow and flourish in ways I couldn’t have imagined. I could go on and on I can’t say enough amazing things about this program and most importantly I’m so grateful to have met Marcie. She and her team of teachers are truly wonderful people who have the child’s best interest at heart. You can see how much she cares in everything she does! She also has a great and vast knowledge about raising kids. She has been such a great help to me in advising me on the ever changing stages and difficulties that arise in raising a baby/​toddler. I’m so grateful to have found this program and will be certainly signing my next child up:)
