Two dudes who own it are great. This is not even the closest little wine shop to me, which is actually walking distance — I drive to purchase from these guys and that says alot!
It’s sad my corner store doesn’t pay attention when told about great wine finds. I only used to live near wine country and Napa Valley, come on now…
These guys, however, are the opposite. They ordered my new fave — J Chardonnay — when asked and it actually turned into a success in their store. It’s about $ 24 a bottle and flying off the shelves. Contrast that to my little local place who wouldn’t even put a $ 12 chardonnay I like on the shelves thinking people wouldn’t pay that price. Can you see me shaking my head? People will pay for good wine no matter what. It’s a staple like bread and butter, no?
