What a great weekend we had! We always stay here when we go to Westport. Yes the place is a dive, but we are okay with that! I give 5 stars for the location and customer service! We had issues with the hot water in our room, but they were right on it and went out of there way to fix the situation. The owners and and employees really make the stay pleasurable. Thank you again for a wonderful weekend! We will be back…

This place is not what it used to be. I agree with Jen B. One star for being on the water, but the place needs remodeling! I put Pricey for the $$ because you are paying around $ 150.00 for something pretty dumpy. We were in #12 and it is right next to the public bathrooms. Not much privacy when on our deck. The sliding glass door did not lock, we had to use the stick in order to be safe. The front door had a screen door without the screen. There is a sign in the bathroom saying that you cannot use hair driers because it will blow the circuit. There are new places that opened just down the street called Westport Marina Cottages that are spectacular and are close to the same price.

One star for being on the water. That’s it. The place is trashed and should be gutted and remodeled. Disgusting. Moldy windows, shower and gaps under the doors. No screens on the windows. Soft floor and dirty bed. Never again. Don’t do it. Gross. Stay at the Westport Inn. Update: the view is amazing.

Filthy, stunk so bad I could not stand it. I tried to find another place to stay but all the other motels were booked up. The only good thing is the water front view

Filthy and falling apart… I’m giving it 2 stars just because the view and proximity to crabbing is great. The place is riddled with bugs, mold, and layer upon layer of grime. The furniture is/did fall apart, most of the doors and drawers are missing handles… it’s just filthy, dead and live bugs, spider webs etc. I’m not expecting the Beverly Hilton but come on clean the place and spray for bugs!

Very disappointed! I made the reservation 7⁄15 for 8/9…unfortunately I had to cancel my reservation the very next day, more than 3 weeks before my expected arrival. They still charged me $ 20! What a horrible way to treat customers. I was thinking about rescheduling when plans became more permanent for us but I definitely WILLNOT. A $ 20 fee for a cancelation more than 3 weeks in advance is unreasonable.

This is not a fancy place… quite the opposite. The rooms are right on the water. They are tiny and worn. But the price is great, the staff is super nice, and you have a great view and can walk into town with ease.

This could be 2 stars or 4 stars depending on what you want. We just needed an inexpensive spot to sleep before getting on our charter boat the next day and this fit that bill perfectly. The room isn’t anything to brag about, but the view of the harbor is amazing.

I stayed here a month or so ago and liked it a lot. It’s definitely not a luxury resort, or even a Holiday Inn, but it’s still a great place. The guy at the front desk was friendly and helped us find some stores and good restaurants. The rooms are simple, cozy, clean, and right on the water. If you stay in rooms 4, 5, or 6, you’ll have an amazing view of the bay too.(That means rooms 1, 2, and 3 don’t have such a great view.) If you’re looking for some fancy place with a flat screen and a jacuzzi tub, this isn’t the place for you. If you’re looking for an inexpensive yet charming motel in this charming town, you can’t go wrong with the Harbor Resort Motel.

Ok the view is great from depending on what side you are on. The rooms are old and worn. They want 60 dollars a night to stay there. The rooms are very very small. But on the plus side the store down below it has a very friendly man that is behind the counter. He can answer any question about crab, clams you name it. The bait there is priced good, but I wouldn’t stay there. But for convince sake its great.

They had the available rooms posted online, which was great. Nice, friendly service. The room was what we expected — simple, comfortable, and cozy. We had a great view of the bay — literally right above it, and could hear the ocean while we slept. I wouldn’t say it’s fancy or anything(you’re in a beach town known for its fishing and surfing), but for 100 bucks on a weekend night, it was perfect. Would stay there again in a hearbeat,

This is the place that I found just by Googling«Westport WA lodging». There are other options that come up with this Google search, but this hit was the most informative. I do recall seeing some tv ad shots advising people to vacation in Westport, so I was a bit disappointed that I wasn’t able to find a site that gave me several links or comparisons of the different options of where to stay when I am visiting Westport. I am glad that the Harbor Resort Motel has such a great website. From their website I was able to determine that on the date I looked, they did indeed have availability for the one night I’d be staying and gave me several options as to which room I’d like. According to their website, the Harbor Resort Motel is recently refurbished. We stayed in room 4 and had a desirable view of the ocean. It was awesome to wake up the next day to the sound of water slapping against the beach. Our room was so cute! The bed was so comfortable that both my husband and I wanted to take it home. The room is painted a comforting warm color that didn’t make the room feel cramped or too small. The décor is very nautical, with antique looking boat and ship pictures on the wall and the dresser next to the bed looked very 1940’s with an updated coat of white paint and blue anchors. And the lamp was one that my Nana used to have, it looks like an oil lamp but it’s electric(no oil). The bathroom was nice with a decent sized tub/shower with great water pressure. Once I found the website, we called them up right away to make our reservation. They asked my husband if were going fishing and he said yes and at that point they told him they didn’t have alarm clocks in the room. I didn’t want to go behind my bed at home to take my with us and were just going to use our cell phones and have our friend who was going to meet us there the next morning give us a call. Well, all that was pretty unnecessary since they DO have alarm clocks, or at least they have one in Room 4. They also have a small tv with cable. We weren’t in our room much since we arrived into town late on Friday and were out early on Saturday, but we amused ourselves by the many«Girls Gone Wild» infomercials on that Saturday morning as we were getting ready. Once we did arrive on Friday night, we went to the check-in desk and couldn’t open the door and it’s kind of hard to see inside. We stood there for a bit and the man working at the gift shop/check-in desk saw us and opened the door asked if we were the«X» party and pointed to a sign on the door that said«X» party — room 4 is open and ready for you”. So, we went up to our room and dropped our stuff and quickly looked around. I love a town where a motel can just leave the room open for its expected guests with no worries. The room we had at the Harbor Resort Motel was very clean and cozy. You pay for your reservation at the time you make it, which explains the check-in desk being closed when we arrived and also when we wanted to check out the next day. Since they weren’t open yet the morning we checked out, I just left the key in the room — the same way I found it when we checked in. I assumed this was the proper way to check out as I had not been advised to do anything else. The Harbor Resort Motel also offers cottages for rent. If you were vacationing with your family, you get essentially a mobile home, a private deck, and a grill to cook up the day’s catch. Our room was $ 99 a night, but I feel the cottages are probably the better, more affordable option when traveling with more than 3 or 4 people. The guy at the check-in desk told my husband that they start at $ 139 a night. All in all, this a very nice place to stay at when in Westport. If I return, I’d stay here again and would most definitely advise others who come to Westport and need a place to stay, to stay at the Harbor Resort Motel.
