Family friendly. We bring our daughter all the time. Excellent beers. Buzzards IPA and their Double IPA both are great. Food truck on site. Music and special events regularly. Worth a stop year round. Open after 11 Tuesday-Saturday?

My husband had been wanting to visit Buzzards Bay Brewing, and we were glad we did — and seemed to pick the perfect day too. We stopped in on an early Saturday afternoon(10÷10÷15) on a picture-perfect fall day. After my husband ordered his flight, we sat outside at a table(one of many different seating options), grabbed a sandwich from the lunch truck, some freshly-shucked oysters from a local vendor, and took in the scenery and the other patrons enjoying their respective afternoons. My husband loved the beer and was surprised by the reasonable pricing for both flights and per pint(as he is a frequent brewery-visitor). His favorite was the Buzzards Bay IPA. The bar staff was welcoming and friendly(the parking lot attendants, not so much). The brewery«campus» is vast and beautiful, and we appreciated all the local vendors that had set-up to sell their goods. They also had a beanbag toss, and lots of space for young kids to run around and blow off steam. Just before we were leaving, entertainment was setting-up — a jazzy older man who called himself«The Silver Fox» — who played music, and who we heard singing and making jokes as we were getting in the car. Would have loved to have been able to stick around to see him perform. My only complaint was that they had only portable toilets available for use. Say what!!! A brewery that size and of their reputation having portable toilets for customer use is kind of outrageous. And frankly, the state of said portable toilets was horrifying to say the least. I wish I had known before we arrived because I would have gone just about anywhere else when faced with the portable toilet option. It was an awful — AWFUL — experience. Like, YIKES.

Spotted the brewery last trip to the area, decided to check it out. So glad we did. Such a pretty location, as mentioned by others. Super friendly folks, the beer is top notch. You can just bring your own chairs if you like,(which we did) and plonk yourself down wherever. Food is available but beer is the main star, As it should be. Great place to bring out of town guests For the day. The area is really an under the radar gem.

Good local brew in a bucolic farm setting near the Westport River. Housed in a humongous old barn amidst an active farm(hay and timothy), decent size tap room with darts and corn hole and a small gift shop area. The best feature is the outdoor events on weekends which feature farmers markets and other local vendors, a food truck and often local shellfish. Tables and chairs outside get filled up fast so bring your own or a blanket. Lately there has been a grilled cheese food truck which has oustanding fare. Beware, it takes a looooonnnngg time to order and get food(30 min avg), so be prepared or bring a picnic.

Buy a glass and get $ 2 off each pour. We love the live music outside and brought our own snacks. There’s a grilled cheese food truck and the nachos were really good. The patio was great with corn hole and tons of tables. People were so friendly and the views were killer. Definitely going back.

This used to be a place to get your growler filled with some delicious beer. They have fixed the inside up wonderfully into a pub, and the outside landscaped wonderfully. It’s now a destination brewery. I’m here on Thursday night, outside enjoying some good live music, had a great sandwich from the food truck parked here. There is also a raw bar here with amazing oysters. Outdoor tables, cornhole games being played, and a load of people enjoying this place on a beautiful June evening. Come out here 12 months a year and enjoy! The Moby beer is my favorite!

My family and I stumbled upon Buzzard’s Bay Brewing years ago after a wine tasting at Westport River Winery, and we’ve been returning ever since. It’s been amazing to watch it grow into the place it is today. I am a fan of the Golden Flounda because I’m kind of a beer weakling, but my family loves all of the brews. If you buy a pint, you keep the glass. They have a growler program. There is a food truck there almost every day now, I believe. Everyone is super chill and every time I visit, I find myself seriously envying their lifestyle. There are stools inside along the wall and a very small«bar» at the front desk with a wood fire roaring in the winter. Summer is my favorite time to visit and sit at the tables outside. It’s a quiet and beautiful piece of property. There’s something special about venturing out into the middle of nowhere to enjoy really good local beer and eat great food. Highly recommended to local beer lovers!

Summertime in the south-coast, and the living’s easy(or so I fantasize about while it’s currently Janurary). On a Saturday, take a trip to Horseneck, grab a lobster roll at a local clam shack, and cap the day off with a trip to Buzzards Bay Brewing on the way home. You’ll be in Westport, so you could probably squeeze in a trip to the farmer’s market in between all the fun while you’re there. Buzzards Bay is sizable compared to other local breweries and makes really, really good beer. The location is housed at a beautiful pastoral space with rolling hills ideal for families looking to mingle and enjoy the outdoors while having a beer or two. I recommend getting a flight, something to nibble on from the«fancheezical» food truck and maybe a few bottles to take home to enjoy later. As a lighter beer lover, I have to recommend the«Golden Flounder» as my top pick. The BBB is a must-do for any beer lover in the south-coast area.

Came here on a winter afternoon. It is a great place, offers great beer, and friendly staff. Sampler was excellent and decent priced. Staff was cool and down to earth. I only wish that they offered tours of the brewery. We were allowed to take a walk though the building/brewery to the food truck in the back, I simply would love to see the brewing operation run. There is cornhole out back and a dart board at the front/main entrance area. Place is seriously cool, has a great vibe, and has the true country feel. Glad we went!
