Love the food! Specially the hamburgers and fries best in town! My only go to place when craving a burger and old time dessert favorites.

Finally after several months I found myself at Lucille’s tonight, this time my experience was a pleasant one. We arrived on a Saturday night around 7 pm and were sat immediately, even though the waiter seemed a little slow on taking our order the overall experience was a good one. This time around I ordered the Mediterranean Greek Salad with blackened chicken. Generously served with feta cheese, tomatoes, red onions & a homemade red wine vinaigrette it has got to be one of my new favorite salads. Even though the first chicken was served cold, the owner stopped by and got me a hot juicy chicken breast from the kitchen which was PERFECT! The same check-in offer still stands for the free chips & homemade ketchup but make sure to order them fresh, tonight’s chips were good but they’re GREAT when they’re served hot out the fryer. Overall I can say Im a fan. Lots of options to choose from with the added benefit that there are a lot of family recipes… So drop on by and give them a shot! Their desserts sound AMAZING!!!

I loved every second of my visit here! 50’s music and real diner style on the inside, and tranquil outdoor setting makes Lucilles a real gem to dine at. In a strip mall in Westin, across from Offerdhals Bagels, this place was actually close to a park in Davie we were visiting, and one of my bookmarks so let’s eat! We were greeted by a hostess and she asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside. I had no idea there was outside seating, but the weather was perfect and there would be a wait for inside, no brainer. We asked for a baby high chair, and I saw the Unilocal Check in offer of free House Chips with house Ketchup, again score. *they have breakfast Sundays only We ordered our breakfasts and the house chips came out, yummy crunchy, tasty and the house ketchup was great too. I ordered the 3 scrambled eggs, choice of toast, I chose dry Rye, * they put a butter-margarine mixture in the toast, bacon or sausage, I got bacon– wow thick, generous pieces of tasty bacon, home fries were wedges of real potatoes. This was a hardy breakfast, not greasy food, and hits the spot. My husband had the meat lovers omelet, and father in law ordered similar breakfast combos to mine. The outside has a canal view, and a dispenser for the wildlife beneficiaries. I saw a peacock fish, turtles, and wild birds, always fun for the kids. My mother in law ordered the eggs benedict and thought it was great. I will come back. The real diner atmosphere is hard to find, and the music just brings a smile to my face. Check this place out.

Terribly disappointed with our visit. Having looked at the reviews and pictures I expected better than what we were served. The French toast was regular bread lightly toasted and covered in syrup that it became a soggy mess. Nothing like the pictures. The bacon was obviously cooked well in advance and reheated as they were dry and tough in texture. The three egg breakfast was served with two eggs, stone cold sausage patties and brown coloured white bread?! We had no apology for our less than satisfactory meal and the staff were unpleasant. Obviously they were extremely busy this morning which didn’t help their frustration but we are paying guests. Therefore better costumer service would have earned them 2 stars. The one star given is for the kids pancake breakfast which was great.

My boyfriend and I enjoy this place. I always get the meatloaf, which is pretty good. The first time we went I thought the food and experience was better than the last time we went. The first time we went the food was way better than the last. The service was also a lot better. We even got mini muffins in a brown paper to go back with the bill, which I thought was a really cute touch! The last time we went the hostess was EXTREMELY rude. We wanted a booth and she was extremely rude and said there were no booths available even though there were at least 4 available that we could see. The manager then told her that yes there were booths and we could sit in one. The food was ok. The meatloaf was really dry. The two things I definitely have to say they specialize in is the tomato soup and the homemade chips with the homage ketchup. Highly recommend those two!

I decided to try something a little different for my review. 11:45– We were way just before the lunch rush so there are very few people here. 11:50– We sat outside and already have our drinks and our orders placed. 11:53– Got my iceberg salad but I am too caught up feeding the turtles. 11:59– Finished my salad. It was very good. 12:05– Received our food. The presentation is great. 12:15– Food is delicious old timey American affair. Definitely meets expectations. 12:20– We got our check. Service was very friendly.

It always amazes me that there are still people in the area who have never been here! Oh, it’s difficult to put into words exactly what you are missing. A lovely ambiance of classic 1950’s, but not like a regular diner. This place is much classier. There is a unique theme around the history of Lucille, that you can read about as you browse their menu of the best American cuisine classics. Everything is melty, creamy, yummy. I am never afraid to try new things here, because every item has been crazy good. It is not enough just to tell you this, you must dine here. I have come to this place for over 10 years and have led others to fall in love with Lucille’s. One server in particular, Joe, is the golden. If he is available, sit with him. Such a sweet man, always smiling and spot on with his service. My recent favorite has been the CiCi melt– an extraordinary grilled cheese with tomato and bacon. I had a cup of the tomato blue cheese soup(I must mention that I do not usually like either of these things by themselves) and I adored it. So much so, that I came in a few days later, just to get a bowl for take out. Go on, a new love awaits.

Good friendly place. Old school charm. Big menu. Great salads. Good burgers. Blue plate specials, etc. comfort food to the max. Only thing that keeps me from going all the time, a lot of the dishes have a herbal base and or a «heavy» rich, but not flavorful body. Missing some savory sweet accents to their food. Imagine eating a blue cheese dressing salad, and tomato soup with blue cheese, and homemade potato chips topped with melted blue cheese? Gets old right? This is always my experience with many of their dishes. They look and sound great, but the food just misses the«POP» and«WOW» factor. Although I really like this restaurant, I have to be in the mood for some heavy and dull tasting food. Staff is really nice.

Since I don’t live in Weston, trips to Lucille’s can’t be the norm. But after a visit to the Everglades Holiday Park for an airboat ride, our group stopped here at my suggestion. The service was awesome, especially from the manager on duty. Everyone loved the food and we left satisfied. Wish Lucille’s was closer, since I would be a regular.

After a medical procedure, I was starving and needed some American, comforting food. As a vegetarian it can be tricky to find a place where I can get a true meal along side my husband who has no restriction. I liked the atmosphere as we walked into the door. There was an old time fountain feel BUT not that kitschy, bright black, white red theme. It was a cool, refreshing and homey feel that reminded me of being a young girl in the Catskills. First out we shared a bowl of their blue cheese tomato soup. YUM times TEN! The cheese was there but no way did it overwhelm the base of the tomato soup itself. Again bringing me back to childhood. I asked for and received two rolls and butter. The rolls were hard and may have been sitting out too long and accidentally brought out. I say this because the freshness of all the food was so nice these tough dinner rolls seemed really out of place next to the delicious whipped butter they sat next to on the serve plate. The menu had a great variety but not too large or too many categories. If I see too many selections and categories that’s always a sign of «does everything ok nothing great» to me. There was a black bean patty that I could substitute into any of the other named burger options. I really like when restaurants put a vegetarian selection onto a menu that even a meat eater would enjoy. I had it in place of the chicken with Brie. YUM My husband had the patty melt another YUM by him. The fries were very nicely cooked but I forgot to get mine extra crispy but these were still good enough for me to eat plenty. There is home made ketchup that I got a taste of as you ask for it. It was sweeter than regular table variety but I could get a taste for it depending on what I was eating with it. They had a huge beverage selection from soda, tea and coffee to shakes. Finishing off We got the bread pudding and our only critique(I hate to say critique more like observation) was it had no raisins BUT we will certainly order it again as it was delicious!!! The bourbon sauce was properly done and generously served as it should be. A nice scoop of vanilla topped it off and was the perfect complement to the rich, very moist dessert. We will be back and we will bring others with us too. Don’t forget to grab a to-go menu on the way out.

Just left. Second time at this place. Can’t understand how someone could rate this 4 stars. Absolutely Tha worst service, had to get my one setups, had to get additional napkins, food is below average and then they chare you 22 dollars for a split. Worst run resteraunt I have ever been to. 103.00 of course I fave them 20 percent, for a chicken sandwich. Salad and a cup of chillie. 2 glasses of wine and 2 splits. Couldn’t find someone to cash my check out, had to go to the front and complain where two kids try to tell me they were bus t, not offer to help. Owner needs some real help. I give it a half star, wake up Weston. Never Again

Ya, I don’t know why Lucilles is so highly rated. The other reviewers are right. The food isn’t that good quality and the prices are kinda high. Around the table, we got the crab cakes meal, pear and goat cheese salad, Cobb salad and fried shrimp with fries. Only the Cobb salad wasn’t complained about at my table. I can most discuss the pear salad because I was eating it. It was a sugar bomb. The greens were limp from being drowned in sugar dressing, the pears were canned – in my opinion, this was the biggest heresy – there were a bunch of rotten pieces of spring mix. Shrimp was mostly bread, probably came from a big Costco frozen fried shrimp bag. Crab cakes were bready too but still had s detectable crab flavor. All in all, I think Lucilles is just hype.

Everything on the menu looks good, but I can personally vouch for the BLT after numerous samplings. I’ve recently started adding Brie for an extra 75 cents and it’s 100% worth it. The Cobb salad and blackened chicken with Brie sandwich are also amazing.

A diner trying to be hip. Nice place for many options but don’t expect cheap prices. Salads were too high priced for what is offered. Very veggie salad had the smallest portobello I ever saw on a plate. Home made ketchup was awful, too sweet with apple sauce texture, we asked for Heinz Basic diner foods like sandwiches were good but nothing to write home about. Portions were ok. We were double charged for drinks but ended up swallowing it, too much trouble to fix, server was a hard worker, nice guy. In strip mall, eat indoor or outdoor in back by water. Best part is to go outside and feed the turtles and fish. Bring lots of quarters for the machine, for the kids, it’s too fun.

Lucille’s is a dark, cozy, 50’s style diner that has served solid american comfort food for many years. I usually go during brunch, but everything on the menu has been great other days. The service here is always welcoming. Servers look genuinely happy to make small talk with you about menu items, and serve your meal with big smiles on their faces. I love all there home-style sandwiches here, their breakfast, and homemade ketchup/marshmallow dip are some of the best items I tried. They have a gluten-free only menu too, if you’re on a restricted diet, which my brother-in-law LOVES. Never a long wait here, even on brunch days. They have $ 4 mimosas on Sundays, and great lunch specials everyday of the week.

After one too many holiday parties i was craving a nice juicy burger to help soak up my hangover. One trusty Unilocal search later I was at Lucille’s! Since all the girls were at the Nutcracker it was just me and my toddler son. This place is great! Tucked away in a strip mall in Weston, I was surprised to see an authentic diner. Also the outdoor seating area is great with a nice view of the lake. There are a multitude of turtles in the lake that come up to the deck, probably used to people giving them food. My son loved the surprise sightings. The food here is very good. First we got a free plate of Kettle chips thanks to a Unilocal!checkin. They come with homemade ketchup which is pretty good! It is closer to a marinara sauce than ketchup but that’s fine with me. For entrees we had the Angus burger and the 3 cheese mac. The burger did not dissapoint. It was perfectly cooked medium rare and the cheese and bacon made it even better. As much as I liked the burger I have to say the mac was my favorite. It comes out baked on a hot ceramic skillet. This leaves a hard layer of cheese on top that you break through to eat your elbow shaped heaven. The when the waiter saw 3 heaping plates of food on the table for my young son and I he jokingly asked if we had enough food. Although it was probably excessive, we ended up polishing off most of it. This place is great for a casual meal with good food, will definitely be coming back with the rest of the fam!
