Central Tailoring

Terrible tailor under new management! I used this cleaner for over 20 years with no problems. I especially liked the seamstress who did all sorts of work for us over the years. People were pleasant and prices were fair. The drycleaning still seems to be fine but the new tailor/​seamstress is rude and dishonest. I left a jacket to have two buttons reattached. When I picked up, all the buttons had been redone with the wrong thread. When I questioned it, she insisted that the «girl» who left the jacket asked to have all the buttons redone. When I pointed out that, I-​not a «girl» — left the jacket off and did not talk to her she was momentarily taken aback. Then she continued to speak rudely to me. I paid and told her she wouldn’t see me again. Still fuming. Since then I found out that Tula, the previous tailor, moved right down the road. That’s where I will be going!

Great store. Management has taken a change for the better. More reliable and responsible staff. friendly atmosphere with affordable, and quality work. I had my suit tailored here by Rose. She shortened the sleeves perfectly so my cufflinks would be exposed just how i imagined them to be. My pants were shortened professionally. Exact stitching as the designer had done. overall a great experience and will be back in the future for more tailoring.

Not very customer friendly, and I no longer trust them.
I stored wools here for the summer and one or two items came back damaged. I suppose you never know if it’s just «that time» for a piece of clothing, but they were not very responsive or even rational about it. (E.g., they mechanically said «OK, we’ll clean it again,» when I pointed out a ripped thread in a scarf.)
