The 5b & Co candles is not closed, it is now Weston Bend Candle Company, which makes really great candles…

There are some really uniquely scented candles here, and they burn for hours — definitely worth the money. I love the cozy little shop itself and have seriously never smelled candles so delicious. They are bizarrely accurate too — how did they get«the bottom of mom’s purse» to smell EXACTLY like the bottom of everyone’s mother’s leather purse??? It’s crazy. This is just one of the amazing little shops and restaurants that make Weston worth visiting.

This place is so much fun. So many UNIQUE scents– and they don’t smell cheap! Perfectly suitable to burn in a home. It’s really a fun place to go with the girls for gift shopping… Or with the kids just to see the expressions on their faces smelling some of these things!

My wife and I LOVE5B! They have great votives and great gifts for any occasion. We visited last weekend and they offered Weston beer and spiced wine which just made the experience even better. We are customers for life!

We got the most AMAZING box of different scents. They include creative names that I can’t remember, but they smell like sexy men and rawhide leather and grass and applesauce. They are in quaint Weston, which we Californians fail to truly appreciate.

On a whim, and since we had no Saturday plans, my boyfriend and I decided to visit Weston a couple weekends ago. The BBQ competition was going on, it was a gorgeous day to window shop and enjoy a beer at The Weston Brewing Co. We happened upon 5B& Co. Candlemakers as we strolled along Main St., sipping our lemonades. What a gem. This little store is teeming with every scent combination one could possibly create, and incredibly unique. Who would’ve thought«Rawhide» would’ve been one of my favorites. But it is. And the names are hilarious, too. Like Honey Bunny, Manly Man, Monkey Burps, and Your Brain On Drugs, Tighty Whiteys, and Smoochie Coochie. You can’t help but stop and take a sniff. What was great about going there on this particular day was they were offering free full bottles of Weston Brewing Co.‘s beers as we perused the store, picking out our favorites(buy 10 votives, get 2 free). Bonus! They even do custom car fresheners. You pick your scent, they smell it up for you. I chose Lemongrass Mint and it makes me crave lemon bars every time I get into my car. Way better than those tree-shaped ones. I can’t wait to go back over the holidays and get some fall and winter scents(I’m obsessed with cloved orange and am intrigued by what Baby Jesus smells like — hopefully not dirty diapers).

When I head out to Weston, I don’t make a lot of stops on Main St. But, there are two places I always go, the McCormick gift shop for $ 0.25 shots and this awesome candle shop. This place is overflowing with some of the best homemade candles you’ll ever smell. They specialize in making votive candles and there are dozens of baskets lining the store, filled with an array of candle scents. You can easily spend a half-hour just walking around, sampling all the scents. As the other review states, they have many scents you’re not going to find at other stores like Grandpa’s Pipe. The owner is really nice and even offered us complimentary beverages to enjoy while browsing the store. Once you start burning the candles you will not be disappointed. They throw their scents well and burn down nicely. This store is a great place to bring home mementos you’ll enjoy for weeks from your trip to Weston.

My very favorite candles, ever. Sooo many scents, with clever names and smells … Marsha comes up with some true originals that I have never seen anywhere else. This includes scents like«clean undies» — which of course is a real pleaser. It smells like, well, clean undies. ;-) Some others that I’ve really enjoyed are Cashmere, I’m the Boss Applesauce, and Lemongrass. She does some amazing holiday scents, things like Dad’s pipe, Baby Jesus. An all time favorite name is Smoochie Coochie, which is carnation scented. We usually stop by Weston on the way to see family. Marsha is really nice and sometimes, if she doesn’t have the scent we want in stock, she’ll pour some for us and have it ready when we come back through town. Amazing service! Fun, honest, and genuine, 5b&Co is really an awesome find in Weston!
