Sunrise Window Tinting & Car Alarm Gold Plating

This is my second time here!
When I came with my first car about 3 years ago. I was a bit skeptical about getting my windows tinted because the price was so cheap! $ 120 for 4 Windows plus rear window! (20%)
I never ran into any problems those 3 years.
I just came back with my new car and he finished the job in 1 hour and it looks perfect!
He explained how to take care of it once again and gave me 5 year warranty and a receipt that I can bring back if I run into any problems.
The worker is extremely kind and luckily, today I didn’t have to make an appointment!
I will definitely keep coming here for window tints

I was referred to Sunrise by my sister who recently got her windows tinted here. Sunrise is a smaller, more modest garage but I knew better than to judge by the exterior because I’ve always had the best auto work done by these types of garages. I called in around lunch time on a Wednesday and asked if I could bring my car in that same day at around 5 PM. I believe they close around that time but the owner was willing to accommodate me and have my car done that day. I showed up at 5, he showed me my options and pointed to different cars around the lot as examples of the different shades that he offered. I made my choice and he told me that my car would be done in 3 hours. He gave me my price up-​front which was very reasonable. I didn’t have any tint on my car previously and he charged me $ 130 for my four side windows and back window. He called me in two hours to inform me that my car was done, an hour ahead of time. The über driver that drove me back to the shop told me that he had gotten his Mercedes tint done at the same shop and that they’d done an excellent job. I showed up at the shop, paid, and drove off feeling satisfied with the tint job. The owner had advised how to care for the tint in the next few days and to call him with any issues. He ended up calling me a few minutes later to tell me that he noticed I hadn’t turned on my lights when I drove off. Not only do they do a good job but they’re really nice as well. He definitely didn’t need to go out of his way to make sure I turned my lights on. I had a very simple, quick and quality experience at Sunrise and I’d definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking to get a new tint.

Just got my car tinted here today. I was referred by a friend who uses them for cars and brick and mortar shops. Vu helped me out and he’s super nice and will answer any questions you have.
I had existing tint on my back 3 windows which they were able to take off and replaced with 15%. I had 35% done on the front two. Took about 4 hrs (2hrs to take off, 2hrs to put on) and pricing was a little cheaper than what I’ve been finding via other company Unilocal reviews, especially with the removal of existing tint. He used High Performance SP film, I believe made by Johnson.
The film has a lifetime warranty so Vu told me to just bring my car back if I ever have any problems such as bubbling. It hasn’t been past the preliminary 3 days so I can’t speak to small bubbles but so far it looks good!

I think a lot of people get their cars tinted here. The man that owns this shop is super nice and does such a great job on all the cars I bring in for him to do. He usually charges me $ 120 for the tinting. His crew does a really good job! Most of my friends go here to get their tints done. They are always busy. They usually have alot of cars to do each day, I have to call in and make an appointment. I always bring the cars that need tinting around 9AM when they open so they can get my car done faster and out of the way. I leave my car there for them to do and come back within two hours. They make sure everything is clean and spotless! I usually get 15% because 10% is really dark and I drive late at night so it’s kind of hard to see my rear. 15% is good enough for most people. You dont want to get 10% because those are for limousines.

I’m gonna take my new car I just bought last week there again.
I have refered people too.
They use good quality and actually honor the warranty and will redo the whole job if they need to

This is a very long and complete review of this place…
I first came here in 2009 with my new honda civic to tint all 4 windows. I was pretty satisfied as this was my first time taking it to a tinting service. It was lifetime guarantee tinting and only costed $ 120 for all 4 windows. The service and price then was good and reasonable.
So, when I purchased my new Lexus SUV this year, I took it here again because I was a happy camper back in 2009. It was only 2 weeks old. Boy, was I in for a big surprise. I first went to see the owner of this place to ask for price and availability. I only needed two front windows tinted since the windows in the back were factory tinted and I was fine with it. I was quoted with $ 50 and I could take it back the following day. I had to travel for work the next day so my husband dropped the car off. I got a call from my husband and he told me there were lots of bubbles and scratches from both windows. So the owner had to redo it over again. It still had bubbles but less and there were still some scratches. The owner said the bubbles will go away the next couple days so my husband took the car home. Right when my husband got home, he called me again and told me that something burned the plastic on the window between the driver side and passenger side. I uploaded pix for show.
So, my husband took it to Lexus and they said it was because of a heat gun that melted the trim of the door. That left one conclusion, that the owner at the tint place unintentionally did that. We asked for a quote of how much it will cost to fix from Lexus. It would be about $ 200 including part and labor if it were done at Lexus. So the following day, my husband went to see the owner at the tint shop. At first, the owner claimed it was not his responsibility saying that we probably gave our car to someone else and they ruined it and now we are blaming it on him. Now, why would we give it to a mechanic when the car was only 2 weeks old! It was practically new! So finally he admitted fault and we asked him to compensate for the damage. Then, his shadyness came around. He wanted to take our 2 week old car to another mechanic that he knows to fix the problem. We said no because our car is new and we don’t want to give it to an unknown mechanic we never met before. We wanted him to pay $ 200 for the damage. He said come back tomorrow and he will finalize his decision on what he wants to do.
So my husband came back the next day and he said he can buy the part for us but we will have to pay for the labor at Lexus. So we were fine with that and he said come back in an hour. My husband left and came back an hour later. The owner did not have the part and he said he will just compensate us $ 100. My husband just took his money and left because driving back and forth to his shop and wasting my husband’s time was enough.
The owner was selfish and cheap about admitting his mistake and made us agree to his terms even though he caused it all. I would NOT recommend his service to any one ever again. The owner is probably at his old age so mistakes tend to happen, but I will not be coming back here again and taking the chance that this can happen to any of my friends and family.
