I had purchased a couples massage on the website for $ 85. The site read, «Couples massage $ 85⁄60 mins. So, naturally, I thought I was purchasing a couple’s massage for two people. When I went in to book my appointment, their menu at their front desk said the exact same thing. Couples massage FOR2 $ 85. But when I went to make the appointment, the unnecessarily bitchy girl at the front desk told me that it would only cover one massage and I’d still have to pay for my boyfriend’s. Nowhere on their site or in their store does it say $ 85 each. Couple means two people. What is the point in posting the price for one person to get a couple’s massage. That’s just a regular massage. So I had to cancel my appointment over the phone and the same unnecessarily bitchy front desk girl hung up on me. So I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you don’t care about being up charged at their discretion.

I was given a gift card for this spa. Overall it was relaxing and I thank my awesome friend who bought me the gift card. I will not be returning. The spa is small and I feel they are trying to hard but not paying attention to detail. Cold water in a coffee cooler and styrofoam cups. The massage tables are way hard and small. My massage therapist was awesome but she finished with my legs. I am use to ending with my neck and head and that’s the best part for me. Again overall I was relaxed when I left, so thank you very much.

I would recommend this place to anyone looking to relax, get a massage, facial, superficial peel or wax. Aly is my massage therapist and is so knowledgeable about the human body and its muscles. She knows exactly what I need in my massage just by explaining to her what my lifestyle is like. I always have to book in advance to see her but that’s never a problem. All the estheticians I have seen here are professional and good at what they do. Amy knows a ton about product ingredients and Lacey is great at Brazilian waxing. Reading other reviews about the cancellation policy baffles me! It’s reasonable that they only charge half the cost of a treatment if you have to cancel last minute. Everyone’s time is valuable. The membership is the way to go! It clearly states in the contract what you as a member are responsible for. I’ll be recommending them to friends and family!

I have been to this location in the past and actually loved it. However, I’m giving this place a 1 star because of their inflexibility when I missed my appointment due to factors beyond my control. I had scheduled an appointment right before I went on vacation for the day after I returned so I could slowly get back into the swing of things. The day I was supposed to return home, I was stranded, with my 9 year old daughter, on the East Coast because our flight we were supposed to take at 10:30 p.m. had been canceled due to mechanical problems. The last thing on my mind was the«spa», not to mention they were closed for the evening. My appointment had been scheduled in the morning, so before I had a chance to do anything I get a very rude call from the girl at the front desk asking where I was. I apologized, and while trying to explain how the situation was out of my control, she kept talking over me and interrupting me. I was told I was going to be charged for ½ of the charges because this was a same day cancellation. She also said, we called you and sent you a reminder email about your appointment, which was a TOTALLIE! I did not have one email from them or phone call. Even if they had called, I didn’t know I was going to be stranded at 10:30 p.m. so why would I call during business hours to cancel my appointment? They couldn’t care less about my situation, just cared about getting their money, so I have worked with my credit card company and am stating fraudulent charges against them. I will NEVER go back there!

There are many factors that go into rating for a spa. There’s atmosphere(4.5) options/variety(3.5) and a most important factor: professionalism. For that I give Spavia 3. I am revising due to an extremely good experience there with an esthetician Amy. She is wonderful :-) The main problem was with a massage I had. I told them over the phone I wanted someone with experience and if they didn’t have someone, I could wait to get in. Apparently they didn’t look how experience the MT was,(after stressing how important this was.) I had an ok experience so far. One of the girls I had recently been to was good but she talked alot. Nonetheless, they scheduled me a girl who did not have any experience. I asked for her to change some things but I think she got too nervous she forgot. The massage started 5 minutes late & ended 5 minutes early, which I’ve noticed is a trend in massage lately being the therapists are never given enough time between clients, which is so not their doing-it is the business. When telling the front desk this issue, I was given a ‘I don’t want to deal with you’ look and when I asked if I could use my last roll over on product, she said there was no accommodation for me, & did not look into it. This was heard by two other customers in the lobby who chimed in and asked me about my experience. I was not intent on making a big deal, but for about $ 49 it could have been compensated easily I’m sure. I just in the end did not feel heard by Spavia.

Love it! Join their monthly membership, it is totally worth it. Was able to get my mother in law a massage for mothers day at a great rate because of their bring a friend portion of the membership. Darlene was my massage therapist and it was heavenly!

Stopped in here while I was visiting Colorado. I found the staff to be very courteous and friendly. I had a facial and a massage. In the middle of my massage, I got a call regarding an emergency and I had to leave early. Even though the massage was pretty much complete, they offered me a discount on a return trip, which I look forward to using when I visit there again in the spring.

Unfortunately, this place went downhill. It seemed that they couldn’t keep staff, and finally when I was so frustrated that I decided to cancel my membership, it was a total headache. Worse, I am pretty sure the owner knew that she was charging me more than she should but just hoped I wouldn’t notice or complain and that she would get to keep that extra $ 75.

3.5 stars– it was my first time here and I was treated to a spa day. I had a facial, scrub and massage. The check in was awkward because I had to wait with no one in line ahead of me and with no acknowledgement, and then when I was filling out paper work I had to listen to a very unprofessional and personal call the 2nd receptionist made. So minus a star and a half. Then as soon as I was led to the changing area, life was good again. Pretty posh, big lockers, comfy robes and slippers. The waiting lounge had really great chairs that you sink into. Michelle did my facial and she was fabulous! She was personable and knew what she was doing. Just her description of my treatment relaxed me and I’m not a big facial fan. I would drive the 45 minutes to see her for another appointment. Bonnie did my scrub and massage. They felt great and for the first time ever, I fell asleep during the massage. I didn’t get a sales pitch for a membership that some of the other reviewers had. It was a good experience. I would go back again.

The monthly membership is the only way to go. Today I still had a headache after my massage and there was a temperature issue. Martina asked me to share my feedback on a form so they could continue to improve their services. She then proceeded to upgrade my next 60 minute massage to 80 minutes free of charge. I love this place!

This is my new favorite spa. I’ve given up on Massage Envy, prices way too high and definitely not relaxing… more like a clinic. Spavia is very relaxing and affordable prices.(One day I’d like to get a membership so it’s even more affordable.) I’ve had a facial and a massage. The facial was great. They’re not my favorite things in the world but I really needed one after having my baby. My hormones were insane and my skin was doing crazy things. Linda did my massage and she was wonderful. She is the first person to take me seriously when I say that I am very sensitive to touch and need light pressure. I felt no pain and it was pure relaxation. Loved loved loved her! I 100% will be back and will request her every time. I also love the changing room. The robes are comfy(although see through) and the sandals are comfy. The warm neck wraps are great as well. My only complaint is that one of the ladies at the front desk isn’t at all friendly and sounds like she hates her job. It’s easy to overlook when you get a great massage.

I had a signature facial with Michelle and I loved it! The bed was nice & warm, the music was perfect & the products smelled wonderful. Very relaxing and I really enjoyed the fascia massage. Wish I could do this every week!

Couldn’t be more irritated with this place! I am a member who can NEVER seem to get in. As a busy, working mom, I don’t have a lot of time to treat myself to a massage and unless you book days in advance here, you are NOT getting in and forget about getting a weekend appt. I finally scheduled INADVANCE to spend the day pampering myself with a massage and facial — Scheduled a sitter, rearranged my weekend, only to have them call me 2 hours before my appointment and cancel it. I must have at least 6 credits built up because I can NEVER get in! I like the ambiance and nice facility compared to others in this price range but it’s NOT worth the hassle! Stopping my membership — Thanks for blowing my one day I had scheduled to pamper myself Spavia and NO I can’t reschedule for a weekday because I don’t have time and the next 3 weekends are already booked!

Thank goodness for SpaVia! The masseuses are so much better screened than at other subscription spas — and the atmosphere is so peaceful and inviting. Very professional and cozy. Lots of extras — they keep a record of your favorite music and oil scent, and always put a cozy neck wrap on you. The facilities are exceptional, but really it’s the very special masseuses which make it pure magic. And it’s affordable. Life is good!

I have never had a bad experience at Spavia! Ive been to the typical places like massage envy and elements, those places don’t even compare to Spavia. Every time I go to Spavia I always walk out happy:) I love how you get to pick your own lotions to use for your massage, your own music, and your own robe and neck wrap before you go in for your massage. The staff are very well experienced and very friendly. Everyone who needs a massage should definitely go to Spavia.

Actually, I did go back for another bikini wax with the same technician at full price, and I don’t know if I was just being a wimp last time, but this one hurt a lot less. The service was quick, the technician was pleasant and professional, and they were able to take my same-day appointment. I was very pleased with this service.

Very nice spa experience! I found Spavia through SpaFinder because I had a gift certificate. I booked and went for a signature facial same day which was nice because it really was a last minute, OMG I have a few free hours impulse facial! The experience started off great with a polite and helpful person in the phone. When I arrived I was impressed with the ambiance. I started in a nice changing area where I got slippers, a robe and a locker for my things. When I was greeted after changing with a warm neck wrap I was in heaven. The treatment room was nice with relaxing music and warm tables. The facial was great and the products they used were nice. A nice touch was the written treatment notes I received when checking out. It was helpful to have a list of the treatments and what they are to accomplish. I actually bought one of the products(which was a descent price for a spa product). So, why not 5 stars? «Let me tell you about our memberships.» I get it, everyone wants to offer cost effective solutions for all our hedonistic self-preservation needs, but I feel like its everywhere I go lately. Please tell me about it when your checking me in. Don’t make me have to say no-thank you three times when I am a relaxed mush of a facial happiness blob. I appreciate your efforts at creating loyal customers, but timing is everything. I will definitely go back again. Maybe try a massage next time.

Totally disappointed. I came in for the $ 45 new client special to check the place out, and specified this when booking my appointment. When I filled out the questionnaire about massage preference, I checked that I prefer deep tissue massages, and again specified to the receptionist that I only want the $ 45 massage. The ambiance was very nice; it had the feel of a high end spa. As for the massage — very mediocre. It was about as good as any Massage Envy massage I’ve had before — relaxing, but did not help my back pain in any way. Now when it came time to check out, wouldn’t you know they charged me for a deep tissue massage anyway. I explained that I definitely did not receive a deep tissue massage and reminded the girl that I had specified 2 or 3 times I just wanted the $ 45 introductory special, but she had very little interest in resolving my complaints. I think I would be OK with the fact that I had been misled into paying $ 20 more than I had intended if I actually received a deep tissue massage. I have had many deep tissue massages before, and they are supposed to hurt a little, but leave you feeling like a ball of dough. I almost fell asleep during this one, which is a clear indicator that it was not deep enough, and my back pain was the same as before. Before my checkout experience, I was almost considering coming back to try out a facial because the ambiance was so nice. Leaving pissed off after a massage kind of defeats the purpose though. So, if you want to pay $ 65 – 85 to be lightly rubbed down with lotion, this is the place to go.
