The macaron ice cream sandwiches are good, but something needs to be changed with the service. Now I know why I always see a line when I drive by this place. The ordering process was just so long. They keep their little boards listing the ice cream flavors up by the register and the macarons were displayed at the front so you really don’t know what they have until you get to the register. You’re better off having someone stand in line while you go look at what they currently have so that when it’s your turn to order, you can just order and get the flow going. But then this spot is pretty small so you’re probably weaving by other customers. There were at least 6 people working from my observations, and again, space seemed tight so it seemed like they were spending more time standing around and making their way around the other person to get to a different station. So much waiting for one ice cream sandwich.

Yassssssss. Macaron ice cream sandwiches done right! — Their shells are on point, the perfect texture you’d expect of a macaron. Fruity Pebbles gave me childhood flashbacks. I sampled a bit of the Captain Crunch shell and this was BOMMMBBB uggffgh. — I got mine with mocha almond fudge ice cream, but I swear there were no almonds? Much confuse. — Pretty inexpensive sweet tooth fix for ~$ 4 — Also got a vegan Thai tea(almond milk instead of half and half) and paid 2 dollars extra for the cute jar. The drink was good, not too sweet just how I like it. Don’t know when I’ll be back in SoCal to get a discount with my jar, but at least it’s cute! — OH! Really cool cold activated spoons that change color when cold hehe Realized I ordered a bit too much for my stomach to handle since I could only finish barely half of my drink. Next time, I’ll save my stomach for those yummy macaron ice cream sandwiches!

So sweet! Gah, I feel a rush of diabetes coming on. Still…it’s good and those mason jars are so damn cute. Of the three drinks– Thai Tea, Jasmine Milk Green Tea, and the Strawberry lemonade, the JGMT is the least sweet. The strawberry lemonade has real strawberries and the Thai tea has nice flavor. The ice cream here has a thicker consistency unless you get the soft serve. You can get the ice cream on macaroons. I ordered the horchata ice cream with the churro macaroon. WOAH, sugar rush with that combo for sure. Teas get a four and the sweets are well… too sweet for my taste. Place is always packed so expect a line. I’d come back– for the jars ;)

This place is so cute! I’ve always seen people post pictures of the drinks and desserts from here but I never got to try it until now. My friends and I ordered the jasmine milk tea, thai tea, and matcha latte(all in the reusable cup of course: P hehe). We also got a fruity pebble with green tea ice cream macaron sandwich to share. The drinks were pretty good. The jasmine milk tea had the right amount of «tea» taste and wasn’t overly sweet – pretty much tasted like what I expected it to taste like. The thai tea was also good but on the sweet side. The matcha latte was very strong on the matcha flavor – kinda bitter but matcha lovers will really enjoy this one. The macaron ice cream sandwich was pretty good as well. They have quite a few macaron flavors that you can choose from. Definitely will come back if I’m in the area! :)

I mean, they aiite. Nothing special except for their cute mason jars. Their milk tea is ok not worth the line this place usually has. Ice cream macaroon was pretty big tasted decent. They gave us spoons that turned blue when it was cold! That was the most exciting part for me lol I wouldn’t go back there’s a lot more places in the area that have the same if not better dessert without a wait. But you aite snow monster, you aite.

Overall impression: Good! I was expecting an overhyped dessert place. But surprisingly the drink, macaron sandwich, and soft serve were great. I got the thai tea,(they charge +$ 2 for an etched jar, but in my opinion its worth it because they seem to give more in the jar.) ice cream macaron sandwich,(pistachio macaron & taro ice cream) and a fruity pebble soft serve with cotton candy. My favorite was the fruity pebble soft serve, the cotton candy seemed to compliment the soft serve really well. I highly recommend you to get this when you come here. I will definitely be coming back for more with my jar to get a refill ;) This location is extremely crowded by the way just to let you know. So expect a wait.

The quality of the drinks/ice cream is mediocre, however, I really like the uniqueness of this place compare to other boba shops. For instance, their mason jars are adorable. An average drink(Thai Tea or Strawberry Lemonade) costs around $ 3.50 and for an extra two dollars, you get to keep the jar. I prefer the strawberry lemonade over the Thai Tea or the Jasmine Milk tea any day. Besides from drinks, they also serve ice cream sandwich(cookies as the outsiders) and shave ice. For the cookies, depending on the day, it can be a hit or a miss. On my very first visit, I remembered the cookies that they gave me was so hard(did not finish it). However, on my last visit, the cookies were soft and delicious. The shave ice as this place is so bomb. Better than the shave ice at Class 302. My favorite flavors have to be the Green Tea, Taro or the Mango. I am a sucker for anything that is Green Tea. I remembered ordering a Fruity Pebble soft serve and it was nasty, do not get it. The best part was the cotton candy, but the ice cream was tasty, taste a lot like toothpaste. Then again, that is just my opinion. The costumer service kept getting better and better after every visit. The first time my friends and I came here, the service was horrible, however, we noticed the improvement with the staffs.

Unilocal challenge 20168⁄116 Just SNOW you know, the drinks here are mighty tastey and mighty big. I’ve never been inside, but was told this super busy monster spot is nestled away in Little Saigon in a plaza with bad parking. I consider myself blessed. Two of my students know how much I love iced coffee/tea drinks and cons their mother into bringing me drinks from the GG area in cute glass jars. This afternoon they brought me a iced Thai tea in a super cool reusable mason jar. The Thai iced coffee was super sweet. Probally the sweetest Thai tea I have ever had. In fact It was one of the best Thai iced Teas I have had. A lot of Thai teas are super watered down. Not this one. Yumalicious drinks for sure! #825

I love coming down to the OC because there are so many cute places that offer the glass bottles for milk tea — only for that reason. My bf came here late at night after a glutton filled night eating kbbq. We decided, «hey, I’m full but we’re down to get pearl drinks» — so we did. The entrance to this plaza definitely got me confused. I entered from the exit only way and I think the security guy that was watching the place saw me. He didn’t say anything but… oops. The front door entrance is on the street sidewalk side. The place itself is small but it’s really cute. The wall décor with the quotes make it feel welcoming. We ordered a matcha latte and strawberry lemonade — both in the glass jars. Thank god these jars are huge because our beverages were so good. They also sold macarons/macaron ice cream. I thought about getting one, but decided not to because it was really cold the night we went. It was really crowded as well, we didn’t have anywhere to sit so all the people, including us, who ordered to-go all stood in one corner, which made the place look more squished than it already was. We’ll definitely come back because the drinks are awesome and we need to try them macaron ice cream sandwiches.

Great desserts, great atmosphere and music. the only thing worth complaining here is that there aren’t a lot of seats. Mango Shaved ice is a must try. Also there cool changing spoons are so amusing. Definitely worth trying.
