Food came out fresh and hot, order rice and beef for a late breakfast. Good service, very attentive and on point quick drinks. Will definitely come back

This place doesn’t look like much from the outside. It reminds me of one of those Vietnamese coffee joints older Vietnamese men like to hang out at but when I got in, I was pleasantly surprised that it was different. I went here for dinner with my BF and the ambience was nice. Soothing music. Had some women’s tennis playing on the TV and the lighting was soft. Noise level was low and the service was attentive. The owner even checked up on our table. Very pleasant! We ordered the com tam suong nuong and the garlic noodles. The suong nuong was tender and could be torn apart with the spoon and fork. The dish had a sunny side up egg on top of a bed of white rice. The pork chop(suong nuong) was on top of a bed of roasted and cubed potatoes. The dish came with a sauce that really flavored things up! Definitely made the dish that much better! 4 stars for this dish. The garlic noodles, for me, was just OK. It simply wasn’t garlic-y enough for my taste and needed a bit of salt… Or spice… Or something. It was definitely lacking. I probably made the mistake of getting the garlic noodles without any protein. There are options for this dish to come with tiger prawns, a Cornish hen and tuna(I think). I ended up stealing my BF’s egg and some of the sauce to liven up my dish a bit. It was perfect. Overall, I liked the place! It was on the pricier side of Vietnamese dining but the food did warrant the price! I would come back. They take card!!! That’s definitely a plus!

It was very good. We got the crispy rice with beef and egg rolls and a salad. Everything was made fresh. I recommend this place.

Only dropped by this place for the drive thru since it was pouring rain outside. Pulled up and the drive thru didn’t even work. Drove up to the window and rang a doorbell wondering if someone was going to answer. 2 minutes later, ordered two iced coffees and it was seriously less than half full. I don’t expect it to be full, but HALF? And that’s including huge cubes of ice. Coffee itself was just ok. Save yourself the money and time and go elsewhere

***(Westminster) *** I’ve always passed by this place but never dropped by. Today I had a random stop and decided to make a visit to this store for some Vietnamese iced-coffee. This is pretty standard iced-coffee loaded with caffeine and enough condensed milk for a nice sugar rush. I bumped this place up a star because I like how clean it is and the nice décor :-) Whatever keeps my blood pressure down is always an added bonus. ha ha ha … What’s good… * Coffee is decent. * Very nice modern décor. * Nice outdoor patio to hang out. * 9 am Saturday morning parking is not bad. What’s not good… * Most of the time in the weekday parking here is horrible. It’s necessary to circle the parking lot many times to find a spot. Food = don’t know about the food, but the coffee is ok. Seating area = very clean Service = ok Restroom = unknown

Worst smoothie and flavored tea ever!!! Save yourself money and walk to teaboo next door instead. I bought 4 smoothie and flavor tea drinks. 4 and a half of them ended up in trash or down the drain after 1 – 2 sips. Their smoothie has a weird smell and super artificial after taste even for something in season like strawberry. Very expensive drink for this kind of quality $ 3.50-$ 3.95.

Came here for lunch and breakfast a few times. I was impressed with their décor and the cleanliness of the restaurant. Foods are just decent. Not very consistent. Bun bo hue has good flavor. but the meats are a lil hard to chew. Phở fillet mignon looks good but doesn’t taste all that great:(. Bot Chien is «thick» and hard:(( However, I’d give their coffee a 5 stars! So tasty and strong in flavor! Calamari salad is pretty good. I like the young banana and the crunchiness of the calamari. Service is okay. They are always short staff. so the food takes a lil long to come out:(( Overall rating is okay. I’m here for the coffee :)

My family of 7 and I came here for late lunch. We ordered chichen wings with fish sauce, mi quãng, beef phở, goi cuon, cha gio, phở, among other dishes too. The chicken wings dish and phở noodle was good. No «wow» factor, just an ordinary vietnamese restaurant.

If you need food just to stay alive, come on in. I tried their garlic noodle with prawns which was quite bland. The noodles were also undercooked so they were still hard. I also made the mistake of ordering their mango smoothie which was on the powdery side. Service was good which is why they managed two stars.

I like their combination of clay pot fried rice and the rice cake. Also, they have refresh drinks with real fruits. Nice service and pretty restaurant! A lot of motorcycles in front of this store haha

I love this place. I’ve come here so often, the staff start to remember my face. Lol. I like«com ga roti». The chef here really knows what he’s doing. Sometimes, he’ll come out and ask if you like the food and ask for your opinion. I love everything about this place. The food, the staff, the environment. Everything… except for their music. They ALWAYS play sad songs. Lol. Like really really sad songs. Don’t know why they choose that type of music. Overall, I love this place! Highly recommend!!!

I heard that the original owners of Picasso on Brookhurst brought their food menu across the street to Q1. Since I was a huge supporter of them, I couldn’t wait to try this place. —-The Food — - Q1 Calamari($ 7.00) — When the plate came out, I was disappointed since I was expecting much more fried squid. Instead, it looked more like a salad and I felt deceived. Upon diving in though, the disappointment was MILDLY wiped away as this plate of lightly battered calamari, lettuce, carrots, and basil was refreshingly tasteful! I just wish there was more! Come on Q1, don’t be cheap and skimp on the goods! Fried Rice cake with Eggs($ 5.00) — Probably my favorite thing I’ve tried here and reason is because of the sauce that was supplemented. Sweet, salty, and spicy tastes arose with each dip, making me wish I had some rice to complement the appetizer. Presentation could be better though. Mi Quang($ 8.00) — For those who don’t know Vietnamese Cuisine, Mi Quang is yellow rice noodles with pork, shrimp, peanuts and rice crackers. It’s extremely enjoyable on a hot day. I loved eating this dish at the old Picasso, but here at Q1, it seems the taste has faltered. It seems as though they didn’t include coconut milk when cooking because it lacked the consistency and flavor I’ve come to love from the old Picasso. Quality of the ingredients was evident, however. T14($ 3.50) — There’s a bunch of teas to choose from, but this one caught my eye. It’s a peach green tea with basil seeds, coconut meat, longan, and panda pudding. I liked it but, WARNING, for those who are accustomed to sweet drinks, the teas here may NOT be for you since they’re a little more bitter than normal. —- Conclusion: 3.5 Stars. The food was on the underwhelming side of things, but I can get behind their teas. I’ll probably be back to try some more flavors, especially since they have a drive thru window for convenience. Extra Notes: –Accepts credit card –Service was attentive and kind –Parking can get crowded on weekends –Funny to imagine this building used to be an old taco bell –Décor is nice and modern –Restrooms are clean

Went here for lunch with a party of 12 they seated us superfast. The menu was huge so many selections to choose from and they have a large selection of teas, which were delicious. I ordered the claypot papaya salad with beef jerky and bo luc lac with crispy rice. The crispy rice was a different taste never seen it before. It was okay but my claypot was good and i liked the papaya. The only problem they fell short of 5 stars is because we waited 30minutes for our food and they brought us eggrolls after we were already done eating. Eggrolls are the fastest and easiest things to make! However, food was good service was good just the wait was eh but the manager kept coming by to check on us

This restaurant was right next to Tebo Tebo, the place we wanted to go for desserts after lunch. Lunch was either Tebo. Tebo or Q1. We decided to try some place new so it was Q1. So happy we did because the place was clean, quieter(we have a 8 months old baby) and new. The service was good except we had to wait a long time for our calamari dish. It came pretty close to the end of our meal. The food was excellent. My bun no hue had good spice and good amounts of meat. The grilled beef was full of flavor. My fiancé ate the whole dish… he normally leaves a bit of food behind. Not this time! Prices are reasonable. I guess it’s more than some restaurants in Little Saigon. Parking was easy, they had a parking lot. Ill definitely recommend this restaurant for others to try!

It’s one of those days when I was craving Vietnamese lounge food, but I didn’t want to be surrounded by loud Vietnamese music and the smell of cigarette smoke, so I decided to come here. The interior design was very modern and pretty.(Look at my picture). The food itself was pretty good too. They don’t have a wide selection of Vietnamese lounge food compared to the other places, but it was close enough. My favorite was the bot chien and the calamari. We also ordered the bo luc lac with burnt rice and the burnt rice was made perfectly, just the way I like it! The service here wasn’t great though. We came when it was just us and another table and the service was pretty bad. I had to order my water twice and once we asked her to wait a little bit for us to look through the menu to order. she never came back until we had to literally wave her down.

Review is based on the following 3 dishes and great service: Roti chicken — pretty good,(not crispy, but really delicious) Shaken beef — different taste than other places, but you should try it! Chicken wings in fish sauce — definitely order! Not too fishy. Just enough flavor. Served on a bed of typical Vietnamese vegetables.

I met up with a girlfriend to have lunch and boba drinks. We sat outside on the patio and enjoy a sunny afternoon sipping on fruity drinks. We ordered the papaya salad and the calamari salad., both were very tasty. I loved the food. The staff were super friendly and attentive. My girlfriend’s fruity drink were super sweet and the waitress offered to make her another one. Very spacious and plenty of parking. There’s a drive-thru as well for those on the go.

I don’t usually give bad reviews based on the misfortune of others, but at Q1 Tea Lounge, I was getting a serious case of sympathy(diner’s) pain. Moments after we sat down to wait for our drinks, a couple walked up to the counter, exchanged some words with a worker, then left without getting their drink or food. I wasn’t clear on the details, but their unhappiness was pretty obvious. Some time after that, a table of 7 adults and 2 small children got up and spoke to the man behind the counter, something about waiting for an hour for their food and being brought the wrong dishes twice. Definitely not happy. My lychee green tea was not bad, but it was all liquid, no lychee bits or jelly like other tea places. My friend’s taro milk tea was so bland he added 4 packs of sugar and finally gave up. As we were leaving, a couple was telling the server that their bill was incorrect because they had already paid for their drinks up front. Out in the parking lot, the most likely very hungry family of 9 was still discussing where to go and was entertaining the idea of settling for Denny’s down the street. Any tea lounge that drives people to Denny’s is unforgivable. And not that I’m a big fan of Tebo Tebo, but I had been staring at it wistfully while I was inside Q1, wishing I was there instead. Is it too early to start guessing what business will take over this location next?
