Great spot for amazing croissant sandwiches, donuts and quick drinks! Love the family that runs this place! Favorite is the veggie croissant! Perfect place for a sales rep to pick up some treats for office visits as well.

This place reminds me of the café at my work place. I thought it was a legit donut shop at first but nope the donuts here are just average and nothing special at all. I was reading up on Unilocal about how the croissants were very delicious. I decided to stop by with my sister after I was teaching her how to drive on this particular day. We thought this place would be the perfect place to have breakfast after but eh I should have just gone to ham n scram. They sell donuts, croissants and bagels here. I got a couple of donuts but they were just decent. I didn’t get any croissants but did have a breakfast bagel which to me wasn’t that good at all. I’m pretty picky with my bagel and it wasn’t that good or bad, just average. Service was decent and the place is pretty clean though a bit small. There are a couple of seating areas and that’s about it. It feels more like a grab and go type of place. I probably won’t be back but its definitely a decent plus if you just want a quick breakfast to go.

Hmmm. I’m confused. They have a huge wall of croissant options(i.e. egg and cheese, ham and cheese, etc). When I received my egg and cheese it looked good. Maybe ¼ of it actually had egg and cheese. It was all air. I asked if they had iced tea. I got a yes response but then saw her making hot tea in a coffee cup. She asked if I wanted the tea bag in there, I said no, and then she mixed ice in. I guess that works, but it’s not what I was looking for. It had a flavor I didn’t like either when I told her I just wanted plain, black iced tea. All this for $ 4.50. I asked if they take cards. I was told yes. My receipt says I was charged $ 5, so I guess there’s a .50CC fee? That’s fine — but tell me first. I had to go to an atm anyways. It was hotter inside than outside. Granted the weather has been crazy hot/humid lately. Oh look! Lotto! Gum! Cigarettes?! This one gave me a flash back to high school when the only place I could find that would sell me cigs was the local donut shop. They’ve been here a long time, so I feel like I’m missing something. *This is another Michaels(big 5 center) on the corner by Michaels bar(jons center), and Michaels Donuts(joann’s fabric center). I’m still trying to find out where Michael is.

I’m going to start to come here several times a week for a bagel, iced coffee or fresh pure orange juice. Sometimes I’ll keep my bagel simple with just cream cheese, others times I’ll ask them to dress it up for me with egg, cheese, tomato, avocado, and bacon. The cashiers are friendly, will greet you with a warm smile. Always quick and easy cheesy peasy

The Veggie crusant is one of my favorite items for breakfast. If you are anti-mayo person you are can request to your liking. Lots of juices and shakes selection. Fresh fruit chop ready to go. Boiled eggs or fresh banana’s. No blasting annoying music. Nothing fansy but it is clean and the front girl is cute and nice. The only thing is they do close early.

The lady there is the sweetest but the mango I bought there wasn’t ripe and kinda pricey! But the donuts were good

I love this place! I used to live in the area but no longer do, but anytime I am in the area my kids beg to go here. Their croissant sandwiches are excellent! Great coffee too. Family run place. Way better selection than most donut shops.

I really like the croissant sandwiches, but they are a little over priced. It’s in a convenient location, but what really made me upset was the inconsistency of pricing. I noticed that I started getting different pricing for the same items different days of the week this is very important to me especially because I’m a college student on a budget. The Asian lady started charging me about anywhere from .25-.50 cents more per item on different days I didn’t like that so I stopped coming here

Nifty little coffee house + donut shop located right next to Big 5, the Mall, and the 405. I love their donuts here — perfect crunch on the outside, just the right amount of sweet/icing/frosting — moist and soft on the inside. You can tell the dough is fresh, rather than something that’s been sitting out for awhile. The ice-blended drinks are pretty good here too — not too sweet and good on flavor. Service is friendly and prompt, and there is some seating in the shop. They have a huge selection of drinks and also offer croissant sandwiches — which I’ll need to make a point of trying sometime. Overall a great place to grab a quick cup of coffee + donuts before you hit the road.

Best iced coffee within a 50-mile radius people! I love it when the wife makes it, but she’s outta commission with their second child out in the world now… Still! The first sip is slightly warm from the steaming, then cold from the ice, and then something like creamy condensed milk. It’s practically perfume, with its various notes, except you down this one with no regrets. Better than Viet or Thai iced coffee if you ask me. About comestibles: donuts, croissants and sammiches are good enough, and fruit cups(especially the watermelon) in the fridge beckon to me every time. Great selection of quick bites. I used to go here ALLTHETIME when I was working at Westminster Mall. Don’t miss my old employer too much but dayzam do I miss Michael’s…heavy sigh.

Michael’s Donut & Coffee House is a pretty decent spot to get a quick bite or a drink. It’s definitely a hole in the wall kind of place, but they have some good choices. Friendly customer service as well. There is a pretty extensive menu, with smoothies, coffees, boba drinks, and sandwich choices for lunch and breakfast as well. Their muffins and croissants are tasty. Plenty of cold drink choices and some chips and snacks to grab as well. And if you’re so inclined, you can grab some Lotto tickets if you’re feeling lucky.

Surprised this place hasn’t been reviewed, yet! This husband and wife joint is top notch. Very clean, friendly and they serve Diedrich’s Coffee! Donuts are good along with their breakfast sandwiches(bagels and croissant sandwiches). Did I mention this place is very very clean? Pricing is reasonable and customer service is excellent. It will cost you $ 6.50 for a dozen donuts — about $.50 cents cheaper than other donut shops. Menu selection is plentiful and can be overwhelming. They have FREE Wi-Fi but I never taken advantage of it. The location is very easy to miss and hard to find since it’s over shadowed by the Big 5 sign. Once you find this place, you’ll be coming back again! Grab a nice hot cup of Diedrich’s Coffee along with a donut/sandwich — a great way to start your day. 5 out of 5 stars… give it a try and you’ll know what I mean.
