By far the best breakfast burritos in town they use fresh cracked eggs and fresh ingredients there chile is not as hot as I like it but good flavor so I order x hot which is just jalapeños added to it very good no other burritos compare to them!!!

One of my favorite places, service is always great and staff are very friendly. Has a full service bar and tv’s also so you can chill and watch the games.

Ordered takeout from here a few times recently. Each time my food was prepared without gloves. The staff clearly does not know the first thing about food safety laws. A recent health inspection proves this.

The last time I was in I was so disappointed in the quality that I have vowed to never go back. The food was old and stale and the addition of the «bar» attracted an unsavory element to a neighborhood restaurant. We went there quite often in the past but the atmosphere brings the restaurant down to an afterthought. It was obvious the food was a couple days past freshness.

We love this place. The staff is always pleasant and I love that I can drink a beer while I wait for my food. I often just eat ay the bar although there are tables outside of the bar for when the kids are with us. There are now two beer sizes and they like to make sure they have a good variety of alcohol for everyone. The green chili is fantastic and the tamales are good although they tend to run out before days end. The owner is super friendly amd likes to personally greet all his guests when he is there.

This used to be an awesome place to eat now its bar oriented and the prices are shooting up through the roof! Not sure if there trying to fund the bar but anyways I’m done going here. Don’t waste your money here!!! $ 7.00 for a pint of chile is crazy!

The food is usually good, but the customer service is terrible. I think it’s due to the fact that the they run under staffed. It took nearly half an hour to get a couple breakfast burritos today, and they wound up not being very good; there was hardly any chile in them, and they were roughly 70% potato. Add the fact that they charge four bucks a piece for a simple breakfast burrito makes me think that I’ll not be coming back, ever.
Also, I tried to call ahead of time to avoid the wait, but I was put on hold and forgot about. When I walked into the store, the phone was still laid face down on the counter. I then explained that his phone has been inactive because he forgot about my phone call, and the guy behind the counter just laughed. To be fair, the guy was extremely busy, but still, there’s no excuse for that type of service and lack of response.
Just drive a couple more miles and go to santiagos, you’ll actually save time because you won’t have to wait nearly as long, and the food taste better and is much cheaper.

tried to call and place an hour for over 30 minutes the phone would ring for like 5 –7 min NO Answer, I sent an employee to pick up from there she told me they were not even busy. when I ate the food it was so so a little better then taco bell but service sucked, wont be back ever again !!

Love this place I always have the Huevos Rancheros and is Mas Fina! I used to dine at the Pecos location and only recently discovered the one on Federal and the food is identical. Love this stuff…

Ordered a smothered bean burrito and a taco plus a small drink. The girl said $ 8.00. I gave her a $ 20 bill. She gives me $ 11 back. I question her about the price again and she says «The price is $ 9.00». I call later and ask what the price would be and am told $ 7.50. Hmmmmm is someone overcharging? The food was okay but not $ 9.00 worth.

The food is pretty good here, for how cheap it is. Much better than Santiago’s. I usually get a Breakfast burrito with beans. They almost always forget to put beans in it after I have already payed. I like the bar that they added. Costumer service is okay, overall it’s worth going back!

I went in a few weeks ago with my husband, we wanted to try something new near our new home. My husband ordered a bean burrito. I TRIED to order a shredded beef burrito.. . I was told they had NO shredded beef. I then TIRED to order the enchilada plate.. . They had NO corn tortillas. We just left and will NOT be back.

I’d never been here before and probably wont be back. Walked in. They said sit anywhere you like. Sat down. Waited 10 mins. No one came. I left.

This place is always busy on the weekends! They’re a cool little mom and pop place with great food! I deducted one star because of their prices. They are pretty expensive for what you actually get. I used to stop every Sunday to get breakfast for my staff, but I quit going since they raised their prices. I also stopped because on my last two trips they forgot to put bacon on all 8 burritos. By the time I realized it, it was too late.

Stopped in for breakfast. Great food, very low key.

Tried the food earlier in week not bad for area there really isnt a good mexican restaurant close. The man that waited on us was really nice so thought we would go back. Well the girl that waited on us sat was so very rude and short i never in my life had been treated that bad she was the one with the tat on her wrist the other girl with tats on her back was nice knew my hubby was starving and had just got home from work so i ate there but never again! Now i know why this place is never packed. In this economy i would want as many customers as i could possibly keep .Dont care if she was having a bad day everyone does sometimes but this was unreal what a b ! wont eat at there other 2 restaurants and will tell everyone i know not to eat there either.

Incredible juevos rancheros. That’s all I ever get, so that’s pretty much all I can comment on. The green chili is so good and has the perfect amount of heat. I have gotten all of my family members hooked on this place.

This place was just awful. I’ve been wanting to try it out for sometime, and finally got the chance last night. Saying I was unimpressed is an understatement. I’m giving them 2 stars in opposed to 1 because their staff was very nice, but the food was the most awful excuse for Mexican food I have ever had in my life. I had the combination plate (taco, smothered burrito, and tostada) and the taco shells and tortillas were all extremely stale and the meat in the taco was cold. The «mild» green chili wasn’t mild (no spice whatsoever), it was cold, and it was most definitely NOT green chili. I can honestly attest that Taco Bell has better Mexican food than this restaurant. Sorely disappointed.

Whoa whoa whoa, what’s up with the top dollar reviews here? I rolled into this place for lunch today after reading the reviews and walked out completely baffled about why people like this place.
First off, what kind of legitimate mexican place serves up ONLY ground beef tacos that taste like they user Ortega Taco Mix? No pork? No chicken? Nothing? I mean cmon. Get outta here.
Second, the green chili was a creamy red. Yeah, that’s just not cool man.
I don’t really know what else to say here. I mean, they serve a hamburger. I’m just confused.

The best mom and pop… or Son and Pop shop on the north side of town. The green chili is magical and consistent. The breakfast burritos are worth a pot of gold and only cost $ 3! The boys that run my local shop remember everyone that comes in on a regular basis. My husband walks in the door and is greeted, then asked…“The usual?”
A truly rare gem in a community of overpriced, crappy food chains.
Do yourself a favor and get to Lucero’s for anything! You will not be disappointed.
