If you want diarrhea, eat here. Terrible service from both the cook and old asian lady. Food was stale and you can tell the meat has been frozen for a very long time. Save your money, and your toilet. You’ve been warned.

The service is horrible!!! I accidentally dropped my drink today while moving across the bar, though I said sorry, the staff and especially the mean lady just looked at me like I committed a crime!!! She glared at me while cleaning that up, and didn’t even offer me if I want another one. I asked if she can help get me a new cup and I’ll pay for refill(53 cents) but she makes me pay for a new drink!!! And the whole«all you can fit in the bowl» concept is bull. I have my ways of stacking my food to the max without it spilling, but every time I look up she’s there glaring at me, talk about scary Korean film. I am never coming back to this place!!!

Great food that is fresh and fast. Only order half noodles for a healthier choice. The veggies are always fresh and the meat is a decent cut for the price.

Always love coming here, great noodles, great chef, great everything. Right in the food court, Ghent is Khan is a must if you come here. Way better than panda express across the section. Just pile on your favorite toppings and all the meat you want, then they will top it with their blend of sauces and spices. Delicious!

I was just here yesterday. The meat was dry and overcooked. The staff are ok. I won’t be coming back.

This pace was ok. If you ever been to the one in lakewood mall, you’ll see there’s no comparison. Lakewood mongolian bbq is so much better. This location is limited on ingredients selection & the noodles are not cooked properly. I wouldn’t go back.

As everyone said, you pay for your bowl up front. Then you fill it up with whatever you want(meats, veggies, pineapples, etc.). The meat selection isn’t huge. They have pork, chicken and beef. I’ve been to other Ghengis Khans that had lamb and other meats that I can’t remember at this time. Their meats were also kind of disintegrated. The vegetable selection was a little smaller than normal too, but that’s okay. I’m there for the meat. lol But for you veggie lovers out there: they had green bell peppers, bean sprouts, tofu, broccoli, carrots, water chestnut, etc. Sauce was the normal selection: mild, medium, or spicy, garlic, etc. They also have a big bottle of Sriracha, Hoisin(oyster sauce) and soy sauce. The employees(Asian guy and Hispanic guy) were nice.(I’ve been to ones where the give you a dirty look for piling your bowl up.) Even though the noodles didn’t fit in my bowl, they still gave me noodles. Food was cooked up nicely. Portions were pretty big for $ 7 or $ 8.

The beef tasted“off” and was tough. Noodles were dry, veges not fresh, cabbage turning brown and no mushrooms! If I come back I will look over everything before I pay $ 9.00 for lunch!

The food is pretty good and the ingredients fresh. But the owner/manager/lady«who has worked there too long» is not pleasant. She is curt unhelpful and seems like she’s pissed you didn’t put 2 oz of stuff in your bowl and be happy paying $ 9 for that. After she took my bowl to the grill I asked if she could add come water chestnuts. I got a rude«no» and a look like I had just asked her to put some gold in my bowl. It’s one if the best choices at the mall(not saying much). But it could be awesome with a bit if «I care» from the(what I assume) owner/manager

I love this place!!! :D $ 8.90 + tax for a big o box of build-your-own scrumptious noodles! The workers are all very nice! It’s not exactly authentic but a terrific food option for a mall. It takes skill to build a tall bowl but your creation will be magnificent!

Pretty good stuff. The beef and pork are the better of the meats. The garlic and chili add flavor to it. I wish they would cut some of the veggies into smaller pieces. Overall not bad.

Food was not very tasty or fresh looking. Average mall fare. The woman at the cashier, however, was very friendly and helpful. Convinced us to reduce our order because it would be too much. It was still two meals worth for both of us, mostly due to the large amount of noodles they put in. Seemed expensive for what we got, over $ 20 for two of us to eat.

always left with a happy stomach & a somewhat tiffed wallet the quick: a bowl will fill you save room for veggies & noodles, packing the meat(haha!) will make the bowl unproportioned to the noodles I have been going here since high school and they’ve always made the food good. My only issue is that at some point, they changed owners about 7 – 9 years ago. The prices went up, quality dropped a tad and the size of the bowls as well. The food is still good though. So if you dine here, grab the bowl. Put a layer of meat, an inch below the rim. Add your veggies to an inch above the rim. They man will ask how spicy and if you’d like garlic, then he’ll stack some noodles so high you’re sure he’ll drop it. Bam, they grill it on that huge table then scoop it into a togo box for you. Add siracha and enjoy! It was near $ 8 a bowl last time I went and I really think that’s over priced. When I started it was only $ 5.75 so at this point, whenever I go it is more for the memories linked to my high school days. Today, I think the food is still tasty but not really worth the money. If you’ve never had Mongolian BBQ, this place will do nicely. If you’re in Buena Park and have a hefty appetite, Umami( ) might be more your game.

They need to hire a cook that knows what he is doing. The vegetables were old and browning. Lady was super nice but the quality was horrible. Not eating there again. I don’t like how they put the noodles and the sauce on for you. You can always add more noodles for $ 1.50 more! Bland noodles… I went home since we got the food to go… and re-cooked everything. Added sauces and seasoning, since they did not cook the noodles with everything else… and YESTHATBAD!

Mall food used to taste better when I was a kid. Some of the workers aren’t so nice when I visited. 3 stars because I’d still go here instead of all the other food places when I’m at the mall(maybe Wendy’s but I always forget to walk that way) mostly because of their«No MSG» sign. Boyfriend and I shared a meal and we barely finished it– my tummy didn’t feel that great after either. Overall, just average mall food.

I love how now they put the noodles on you bowl last rather try to stack it. More noodles are alway a plus for me. Back then they try to stack it and I always come up short. Maybe it’s my fault for packing so much meat. This new way is much better. :)

been coming here for years now and thought i should write a review since i started Unilocaling recently. beef, pork, bean sprouts, cabbage, broccoli, tomato, tofu, and pineapple is what i top my mountain with. ill ask if they could put extra garlic and make it spicy with everything. now you might be wondering what are all the ingredients they put on once you finish making your mountain. i haven’t the slightest idea but man does it taste good. once they finished cooking my food i top it off with sesame seeds, sriracha(because a little more hot couldn’t hurt… maybe), and teriyaki sauce to make taste a little sweet. all this for about 10 bucks i think its worth it.

Surprisingly decent for mall food. It is an interesting experience. Fill your bowl to the max and watch them cook it. The bowl itself is pretty filling, so unless you are SUPER hungry, I don’t recommend that you waste your money on the combo. Really, my only complaint is that it is pretty price for a food court, but the service is always very friendly.
