Express

This review is a little late but definitely deserved! I came in express with my mom. We were in the area and I was looking for a couple last minute gifts for my brothers for Christmas. Normally we always shop at the south coast location but we were in the area so we stopped by.
Blake helped us out and spent a lot of time with us while balancing out multiple customers as well. He was amazing! Helped us find the sizes were looking for and styles my brothers would like. He was so kind and outgoing!
Definitely glad we met Blake! Stop by and check out the Westminster mall Express location!

Love this location. The girls who work here are so friendly. I do a lot of online ordering and sometimes need to return. Tiffany usually helps me and she goes out of her way to call other stores for my size. I’m so glad she’s so helpful.

So, security tags…
Bought a black t from WESTMINSTER. Went home. Unfolded shirt. Surprise! Security tag. Went to South Coast Plaza to get tag removed and get another shirt as well. The tag triggered beeps all through the mall. Had it removed, bought a long sleeve shirt. Took it home, unpinned it, unfolded it, and… surprise! Another security tag. Took it to Westminster to be removed. First question? «Do you have your receipt?» «No, but I have the tag (with bar code)». «Okay». No apology. This was a separate trip – gas money was spent.
So…next step? Fashion Island? No. If I desire more from Express, I’ll order online. The day I see a security tag then, I’ll stop shopping there. I like their product, but I guess it’s time to try Nordstrom Rack for similar styles (they’re less expensive anyway).

Worst Express ever. They NEVER have any mediums! Not kidding! But the last time I went there, the manager was so so rude. And I spent over $ 200 but when I asked them at the register to put in my phone # for my next rewards points, the guy told me, «oh it’s too late now, you should have told me before!». Keep in mind I hadn’t paid yet, he had just scanned one of five items. I just always seem to get nothing but attitude at this location. Do yourself a favor and go to the south coast plaza location. Bigger and better selection and friendly, helpful employees.

Don’t go here. Horrible service! And I was the only one in the store!
The staff just standing around talking to each other. There were four of them in the room. They gave me a look as if wasn’t a serious enough buyer for their time and continued on their conversation. I tried getting their attention and even went up to them at the cash wrap. They seemed to be avoiding eye contact with me. The guy slowly turning their back towards me from behind the register to talk to his coworker facing my direction, with a female employee walking past me, pretending she didn’t see or hear me. C’mon, there’s no one in the store but me! I waited for one of them to help me, but after ten minutes, I just had enough and took my business elsewhere. Thank you, but no thanks.

This review is for the Express store in the Westminster mall. Express and Limited are next to each other, but are essentially different stores since Limited sells only women’s clothing and Express sells only men’s clothing.
Anyway, the store is well lit, spacious and sells trendy men’s clothing — mostly business attire — with some «club» gear as well. It’s like a hip version of Banana Republic. Prices are in that range as well (dress shirts for instance, starts at $ 59.50 — but there’s usually some killer special going on for them).
I really like their Photographer and Producer clothing line — it’s very form-​fitting versus the typical «loose» business clothes that traditional clothing companies divy out which end up making you look like a bloated whale. Photographer is more casual but still form fitting, while Producer is more upscale and sharp looking.
The customer service here has always been awesome! You’re greeted the minute you walk in and whether or not you buy anything — you’re greeted when you walk out the store. Unlike some clothing boutiques, if you ask the employee here whether they have a style or size in stock for an item you want, they’ll actually take the time to check, rather than say «what we have out here is what we have in stock» (which may be true sometimes, but usually its cuz the employee is just being lazy and doesn’t want to check). \
What inspired me to write this long-​due review though, is my brief experience calling this store this morning to inquire whether they had an item I ordered online in stock at the store or not for exchange. The employee I spoke to, Veronica, not only checked (they didn’t have it in stock) — but before I hung up the phone, suggested that I check the other Express locations (South Coast Plaza, Cerritos, Brea). That’s top-​notch customer service. Most CSRs would’ve just ended the call with a «Thanks for calling!» — but Veronica attempted to turn as much of a «No» to a «Yes» — despite not having the item in stock.
Anyway, I’ll check them out later this week when they have stock.

This place has pretty nice clothes. There is a lot of business attire clothing. The clothes are pretty pricey though. The employees are nice, helpful, and patient when you need them to help you find something.
