Club Bubbles has become my new go to spot whenever I’m in need for something to escape the boredom of everyday life. Especially since it is closer to home despite the driving distance. Right off the 405 with a drive down Beach Blvd in the City of Westminster, Club Bubbles is quickly becoming the top alternative to Club Bounce and other BBW club events that have been hitting or missing the target. It is $ 10 all night and there is a plethora of parking. The security is ok to deal with but are firm on the guidelines and dress code. The women are cool and somewhat friendly but at times the crowd can be a bit hood but it is diverse and the people are well behaved unlike most other places. If you are not fond of BBW’s or minorities this place is not for you. The $ 5 Blue Bubble is the signature drink here and it is similar to adiós. There are some places to sit and there are sections for bottle service. An outside patio is available for those who need to smoke or cool off (Reminder: the patio is not available after 1:00am). Dance floor is small but is decent. The DJ (DJ Thorn) plays a good mix of different music. Although there are regulars here, different people from all over Southern California make the excursion here and enjoy themselves. If you live in Orange County or around Long Beach, this is the spot for you if you don’t feel like driving far for a good time. If you are coming from L.A. give yourself some time due to traffic an distance. FYI there are people here of different sizes and is not exclusively BBW’s. Next door on the right is a Vietnamese spot. Club Bubbles is on the left side. Club Bubbles in ONLY open on Saturdays from 9:00pm to 2:00am and Westminster is in Orange County. You may miss out on something if you don’t give Club Bubbles a try.

This has to be some of the slowest bar service ever. Definitely slow for an Orange County club. You know the service is slow if I have time to write this review while I am waiting.

Still waiting. Maybe I am too skinny to get served a drink at a bbw club. But I am not the only skinny one. And I can see I am not the only one waiting.

Finally someone serves me a drink.
Drink was pretty wack. Club is pretty hood considering the area. I could’ve just hit The Savoy or the GS and save the gas money. On the plus side it’s only $ 10 at the door.

Friendly staff, though the bar staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. Bar tenders don’t pay attention to the crowd, I went to get a drink and was standing at the bar and 2 people came up after me (right next to me by the way) and got their drinks before me. Decent music selection, There’s also a relatively crummy beer selection, but that’s somewhat typical for the dance clubs I’ve been to. The club also has a dirty, grimy, feel to it. They use cheap plastic cups instead of glasses. Also the candles on the tables are not candles at all, they are just cheap plastic fake ones. I always appreciate a good smoking patio, but the atmosphere out there was even dirtier than the one inside. Jam packed full of men that look like they just got out of jail. (i.e tattoos on their faces, smoking joints out in the open). I felt nasty and uncomftorable being out there. Overal I had an ok time but wouldn’t go back.

My cousin and I came last night on a last minute whim. Where to start? When we pulled up, I didn’t know what I was hearing so I was a little apprehensive. But… I looooved it. The DJ rocked the turn tables all night. I wore my highest heel (feeling myself). Just when I thought I could take one song for a «park it» break, I jumped right back up to get my boogie on. There were all sized women there. The dance floor was kind of small. But with all the soft and fluffy ladies dancing, it’s like a big pillow fight for adults! There were a selection of sexy guys. My drink was delicious. The atmosphere was friendly and there was a smoking patio for fresh air. The bathroom was clean.
Like a previous review mentioned, the Asian run the suite next door. I walked over to check it out. Everyone was having a good time listening to what I assume was Korean. (Smelled slightly like a fish bowl on that side.)
It was definitely worth a revisit.

As far as BBW clubs go, I’ve experienced the masses and this is by far my favorite. The staff was crazy friendly and the music was off the hook. They had an amazing drink special that was only $ 5 for a blue bubble, I don’t know what was in it, but it was delicious! This is definitely a spot I will return to when I’m in the OC.

I really don’t know what to say about this place lol… for a BBW club, it was what I expected. Music was alright. Dance floor was too small for the it to be a club for bigger people. Also, there was some kind of karaōke night LITERALLY next door to the club, so it was weird to see older Asian people coming of the actual club side. Different. But wouldn’t go back.
