First time at this place I had the chicken parmesan and my bf had calzone OMG was so good. We enjoyed the food and can’t wait to try the pizza. I had the pleasure to taste the homemade meatball too I love them as well. Great friendly staff. Will be back soon.

Wow!!! Hands down the best I’ve had in a long time!!! Big Rob and his crew(wife and dad) make this place top notch!!! Called in my order for pick up and 20 minutes later when I walked in I was greeted with«Hey you Rusty?» From Big Rob himself… SOLID guy with a solid menu… Do yourself a favor and give him a call for pick up or delivery…

Let me let you on a little secret… Big Rob’s dad is DANO as in the Dano from Dano’s. We were so excited to see him busy behind the counter. We missed the old Dano’s and are so relieved to have found the same quality pizza again. The 28″ pizza is a must for any party. It’s so good and reasonably priced. Thanks Rob and Dano!

Found this place on Unilocal! Was looking for great Pizza places other than chain ones. I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the Big Rob Pizza twice now. It’s delicious and not that greasy which is great. For me it’s the little things that count, gave me plates, cheese, and pepper without hesitation. When ordering the big rob Pizza make sure you are there before it’s out to make sure you get it nice and hot for when you get home. This is definitely one of the best Pizza places around.

After finding out Round Table(which is only 2 miles away!) didn’t delivery to my house, I began looking for other options. I stumbled across Big Rob’s and saw the reviews, though the pictures of the pizza didn’t really leave much to be desired. The online ordering went really well, the delivery was quick, and the gentleman who dropped off the pizza was very nice. I opened the pizza box and again, wasn’t too impressed at what I saw(aside from the size, a huge pizza for $ 20?, yes please). Anyways, that all went away when I actually tasted a slice. Absolutely outstanding pizza, and it had amazing flavor. Figured I owed the company a good review after almost dismissing it due to pictures. Guess you really can’t judge a book by its cover. I look forward to trying some of their other pizzas in the future, and highly recommend giving this place shot.

The pizza itself was good. Not«Amazing oh my god I have to have it again» pizza but it was good. I’m giving them 4 stars because for some reason this pizza was AMAZING cold. Seriously, it was the weirdest thing. I let it sit and had a midnight snack and this is by far the best cold pizza I’ve ever tasted. My wife agreed because I woke her up to test my theory. The Wife abides.

I tried BIg Rob’s over the weekend and was very happy I did. I decided to try something different than my normal favorite thin crust pizzas(Big O to Go and Me N Ed’s) so I phone ordered a Sicilian sausage and pepperoni to go. I guess I was in a rare deep dish mood. They quoted me a 30 minute time estimate. They called me back minutes later to say the pizza would take a little longer than originally quoted because the oven was not heated up yet. Usually a pizza place would not bother telling you at all and you would find out the hard way that the pizza was late. Well they not only called, but even asked if I still wanted the pizza given the delay offering me the opportunity to cancel if I wanted. I appreciated the effort they were making to make sure I was happy. I kept my order in place, picked up the pizza 45 minutes later, and they again apologized for the delay. I am not normally a fan of thick crust pizza but this one was excellent. There was just the right amount of cheese and other toppings, no skimping here. They add some seasonings to the pizza, which gave it a great taste and set it apart from the bland big chain pizzas. They also cook the pizza in a real pizza oven instead of a conveyor belt. Lastly I was pleased that they fully cooked the pizza instead of serving an undercooked mess like so many places do. This pie was big and heavy despite the reasonable price. It easily fed four adults with a good portion left over. All in all I could not be happier. In a world of mediocre service it was refreshing to see the folks here going above and beyond to make it right. This is one business that gets it! If you are in the Westminster area and looking for a great pizza then look no further. Big Rob’s is your place.

It’s our first try at this hole in the wall… Super strechy mozzarrlla, tangy pizza sauce, and crusty dough! Man i think it’s worth a try. For true pizza lovers!

Bad experience tonight. With through the Unilocal order & got the spaghetti w/meatball, & the big rob special pizza with artichoke dried tomato & I added roasted chicken. I assume it would take longer then usually cause of delivery but estimated time was 1hr & they showed about 30 min after. Food was Barely warm. Shit was lame! Never coming back here again and I don’t recommend doing delivery. Oh and the pizza looked like it got tossed around a bit on the way over too. Disappointing.

Awesome food! I am always comparing Italian restaurants(sauce) to my grandmothers(who taught my mom) sauce. Granny learned to make sauce from Italians when she lived in Brooklyn NY back in the 40’s and 50’s(she’s Irish btw). So now i am always comparing any Italian food i come across to my grandmother’s. Any ways, i rarely find a sauce that can compete, until i came across big robs that is. The sauce is very similar to an old school recipe. Not sweet and watery or overly meaty. Its thick, dark, and hearty. I use my families sauce as the comparison because it’s literally the best sauce i have eaten and that’s not only because it’s my grandmother’s sauce. It literally is the best sauce ever. Only big robs and Renato’s can come close in flavor. Also, big robs pizza is THEBEST! The Sicilian and the normal style is great. The crust is perfect, the sauce is perfect, everything is perfect. The dinner plates are just as good. Spaghetti, ravioli, lasagna, etc… All great. The only thing i would suggest is more cheese INSIDE the lasagna but other than that, it’s great. I would definitely suggest this place. Even if sometimes they might mess up on the small things, i can overlook it because the food and service is awesome.

Nearly every review is correct, The Sicilian is where it’s at. It’s spicy, its’ flavorful and delicious. I was worried that it wouldn’t be enough food, but honestly 1 – 2 slices is enough for an adult, it’s thick crust and generous toppings is very filling. The slice of cheese pizza we order for the kids, was ginormous, but it fell flat with the kids… literally. We could not find the crust… it just looked like a big triangle of cheese. I would order again, but I’m going to stick with the Sicilian. I ordered via the Eat24 app on Unilocal,it was handy and made ordering so easy.

I’m sure it would have been 5 stars if we had gone in to eat, the food was delicious ordered medium pepperoni pizza with pineapple, asked if they could put jalapeños on half and they did :) Also got the mozzarella sticks and mild wings which would have tasted even better except the food was almost cold when it arrived. I’ve ordered from here before so I know to allot for the hour or so it takes to get here, delivery guy is super friendly. Again probably a better place to go dine in than order for delivery I don’t mind heating up my food but I’m sure that’s not the case for most people.

Great food and excellent service! We got the lasagna(nice and cheesy), beef ravioli(huge portion!!) and spaghetti with meat sauce. All of which was covered with some pretty kick ass sauce. Not to mention a salad and two pieces of garlic bread. What a bargain!!! The pizza looks pretty amazing too. 28″ pies! It’s on for my next visit… 10÷10÷15 Got the Sicilian. Killer! Thick crust. Gotta try it out. 10÷11÷15 Came back again!!! Got the Italian sub this time. It was pretty good, but kind of small and could have done without the mayo. But good nevertheless.

I was searching online for a good pizza joint to satisfy my craving and after reading the reviews I decided why not. I reviewed the menu which has quite a few options. I ordered mozzarella sticks and a slice of pizza. Being that I ordered online it would be 20 minutes before my order is ready. I arrived to pick up my order. It’s pretty small inside, but everyone who works there was friendly. I picked up my order and couldn’t wait to get home. I cracked open the mozzarella sticks and shared some with my roommates. I wasn’t too impressed with the mozzarella sticks. They didn’t seem as freshly cooked as I like them. I will take into consideration it was a to go order and maybe it sat out for a while before the 20 minute timeframe? Being that I only live 3 miles away not sure how accurate that would be. Anyway on to the pizza. The pizza was okay I must say I’ve had better. I wished it was a bit cheesier. I ordered just regular pepperoni not impressed considering all the rave reviews. I will however try this place again and go for the Sicilian.

If you’re looking at this page and haven’t tried Big Rob’s Sicilian yet, don’t bother wasting another minute and call in your order now(or place your order via EAT24 on the Unilocal app for pickup or delivery)! The Sicilian pizza is incredible, from the dough, to the sauce, and ingredients, everything is top quality. I remember my first experience like it was yesterday. As I picked up the first slice of what was going to one of my favorite pizzas of all time, I felt the herbs sprinkled on the bottom of the pizza dough and thought to myself«oh yeah they know what they’re doing». It was love at first sight/smell/bite :) Aside from the Sicilian Pizza, I’ve also tried(and enjoyed) the Antipasto, Greek Salad, Buffalo Wings(very good), Lasagna, Garlic Bread, and their Pepperoni Pizza-by-the-Slice. Big Rob’s prides itself on the ingredients they use, which are all made from scratch – including the pizza, meat and Alfredo sauces, lasagna, meatballs, dough and house dressing. I feel confident in saying that Big Rob’s serves up one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had – pizza is one of my favorites foods so there’s a lot it’s being compared to(not proud, just sayin’). Solid 5 stars all day!

I got the regular pepperoni pizza with a side of mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks were good, crunchy on the outside, gooey on the inside. They seemed like something I would buy at the grocery store in a box. However I wasn’t really impressed with the pizza. The cheese seemed a bit rubbery and I needed to add a lot of crushed peppers to get any sort of flavor out of the thing. The pizza was kinda warm when we got it, not necessarily pipping hot that won’t turn cold the moment you open the box that you typically get when you get a delivery. Meh. The reviews for this place seem really good but I just wasn’t impressed. What I will say, is that I’ll have to try this place again and get a Sicilian style pizza, since that’s what the hype seems to be about. I will have an updated review on that soon! I’m really hoping it’s as good as everyone says it is.

Oh my gosh, This is the best local pizza place we’ve found! I keep reading on the West Garden Grove Community Facebook page that this place is a winner, so we decided to try it tonight. We usually order from Valuetina’s and it’s pretty good, but Big Rob’s Pizzeria tops every local place we’ve tried. Owners Rob and Andrea are friendly and fun. It is evident that they are VERY proud of their business which they just opened LAST August. The pizza is made right in front of you. It was fun to see Rob actually spinning and stretching the pizza dough. It does take a little while because your food is actually being made FRESH when you order it. Believe me, it’s worth the wait. I got onions and fresh basil. My husband got pepperoni, sausage, and mushroom. We both loved it. I also ordered a calzone to go because I just couldn’t decide on just one thing. At Big Rob’s Pizzeria, it is evident that they really care about putting out a high quality product. I even heard Rob ask another customer to report back how they liked their pizza, even if the feedback was negative. I’m so impressed! GO to Big Rob’s Pizzeria. You won’t be disappointed. And no, they did not pay me to do this review ! LOL!!! I took pictures and thought I’d be able to post them here, but I can’t find that place. Maybe that option will pop up when I continue.

Wow, a great experience! After seeing the amazing pictures, we headed over to try out the Sicilian pizza. It’s a deep dish style pizza, but it’s a little different in that it’s not as doughy, and it uses traditional pizza sauce vs fresh tomatoes, which I liked. The pizza was massive, and for 17 bucks it’s a lot cheaper than most traditional deep dish pizzas. An extra star for the customer service as well. The gal at the counter was the sweetest, and Rob(the cook, I think its him) came out and was a really nice guy to talk to. I like how he brushed some butter and parmesan on the crust after the pizza was cooked. This is definitely one of the better pizzerias in this area, and I can’t wait to go back. Check out the pictures I took. :)

I saw Sandra S’s picture of the«Sicilian» pizza and new I had to try it. It’s a 16″ rectangle pizza cut into squares with tons of cheese, toppings of your choice, and heavy on the homemade sauce. It’s a thicker pan pizza style and it’s sprinkled with Italian herbs once it’s taken out of the oven. Rob the owner along with the lady who works there was so friendly. Rob was totally passionate about his pizza and was checking on mine every few minutes until it was perfect. Crispy crust with cheese cooked to the point it starts to get golden. When I took this beautiful pizza home I was drooling due to the amazing aroma. For my toppings I went with pepperoni & jalapeño. The pizza tasted as good as it looked. Probably one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. High quality ingredients and a flavor packed pizza sauce. Loved the sauce. Pizza was huge so I have plenty of left overs which I’ll be consuming soon. Besides Sicilian style they have hand tossed pizza from a medium 12″ to a gigantic 28″. They also have pizza by the slice which is a 14″ slice! I saw a guy eating one and it was huge! There’s also salads, oven toasted sandwiches, pasta, and wings. It’s mainly a take-out place but they did have a couple of tables. It’s in the same plaza as 7-eleven and the florist. They deliver too. My wife and I were blown away by how good the pizza was and we’ll definitely be ordering from here in the future!
