I have been going to At The Beach since I moved here 3 years ago. While the closest location is less than a mile from my house and convenience would be a reason I would choose ATB over competitor, I soon learned there are little to no competition. That’s not the greatest considering they are hardly cheap. They use to do a ton of great promotions where you would get credits for how much you spend to use on things like spray tans or lotions. They have done away with that. One thing I am happy about is now you have an option to be contract free!!! Oh the freedom! That is huge in my world. The freezing options are also great. So as I have said I have been going to this exact location for about 3 years now. In my 3 years, I have seen countless people come and go. No one really seems to care. But that has changed as of a few months ago. There has been a huge change in the atmosphere over there at ATB. Enough for me to be willing to take time out of my day to mention how much I appreciate and noticed a change. A few months ago I walked in, did the normal check in which includes telling the person nearly every piece of information to find me because they can’t spell my last name and they don’t know me. I was use to it. But after the check in fiasco, the guy behind the counter introduces himself(Chris) and let’s me know he has taken over this location as manager and he is trying to work hard to turn it around so if I ever need anything, let him know. This was new. SOMEONECARED. I come in again and it’s the same guy! And he remembers me! Woah. It’s a pleasant change. Along with that I have seen way more of a lotion selection and the little things that have been broken for years are starting to be fixed. Chris truly cares about this job and his customers. You can tell because he knows nearly every customer, something more than just what bed they like and is an overall nice guy. This is exactly what this location needed! Someone who was willing to do some work and who just showed they cared! I hope this continues and he is able to find employees who care even half as much as he does!

I have a regular tanning membership at home, I needed a spray tan while I was on vacation. The Versa spray tan is no where near as good as a Mystic Tan. The machine is not as user friendly. The versa tan also cost $ 40! I paid $ 27 in New Jersey last summer for a Mystic with lotion add on. The staff member also made a copy of my drivers license for their records!!! I felt that they asked for way too much information for a spray tan. I will not go back.

Brandon is the most amazing person! He is so charismatic and very eager to help! My first time in he walked me through everything and answered very question I had. His customer service is wonderful! I’ll continue to come to this location just to see him!

This location is my favorite over all other salons… at the beach or otherwise. Its always clean and staff is super friendly! Plus I really love that at the beach switched to a month to month option instead of the yearly contracts!

This place is pretty awesome! As soon as you walk in the door you can see how clean it is and how friendly the staff is specially Brandon! This was my first time tanning and didn’t know much about anything, he(Brandon) kindly explained everything there was to know about tanning and made me feel super comfortable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
