Hines Park Segway Rental

What a great experience. Perfect for just about everyone — couples, families, friends, etc. The guide was terrific, and the paths (both paved and unpaved) were fun and interesting. The equipment is in excellent condition, and we got a safety lesson first. The staff worked one-​on-​one with use to make sure we all knew what we were doing and were comfortable. A couple of times during the tour, we had a chance to stop and walk around a bit to stretch our muscles (remember, you’re standing still on the Segway). Hines Park is beautiful.
Advice: If the weather is cool (anything 68 degrees or below), be sure and wear plenty of layers. On such a day, if you were just standing still in the sunshine, or walking, around, you’d likely be quite comfortable. But, standing on an open, motorized Segway is another story. If you’re not dressed appropriately, you can get really cold. For example, the day my family went, it was about 60 degrees. I wore my ski jacket and pants, ear warmers, and gloves. I was comfortable.
