I went here looking for maternity clothes and found a few items. There prices were fair but I noticed a sign as I came in that said 50% off all kids and maternity clothes. When I went to check out I asked the lady if I understood the sign correctly that ALL these items were half off not just certain ones. Her response was«I guess». I looked at her puzzled and she said that if people don’t mention it she doesn’t give them the discount. That is completely bogus in my opinion. It seemed like she thought there was nothing wrong with this and I think it is shady. I was not impressed by her attitude but am giving it 3 stars because their selection of maternity clothes is much larger than someplace like Goodwill or Salvation Army so if you are looking to avoid running all over town this is a good place to start. Just look out for any sale signs or be sure to ask so you don’t pay more then you have to.

I didn’t see a category for consignment stores — but that’s what AJ’s Attic does and does well! They have mostly kids clothes, along with some books, toys and a wall of maternity clothes which are previously worn and ready for new homes. We saw a variety of clothes in different styles and brands. The store isn’t very big, so what’s available is also seasonally appropriate. I was surprised at what was there — although there wasn’t a lot of selection, I was able to find what I was looking for, so maybe it just saved me time since I didn’t have to look through more stuff I didn’t need ;) Heather also has a toybox set up with toys for the kids to play with while you shop. My daughter loved it! If you’re looking for a closer consignment store(most of the ones I knew of were further from home), be sure and check out AJ’s Attic. And if you have size 3T or so girls’ clothes you don’t need anymore, take them in so I can go shopping again soon!
