Great prices, ok selection, definitely need a bigger space with the traffic they get. Nice staff.

The deal is that everything here is expired, therefore it is really inexpensive. The clerk informed me that they guarantee the freshness of all products until 6 months past the the expiration date. This is a great shop if you are on a tight budget, but my concern is what the heck type of chemicals are they putting in their food. I know I don’t what to eat bread that has a shelf life of 7 months… ICK.

Wanna Save Some Dough? Located in a small strip mall — so you could easily miss it flying down Center Ridge — is this little shop(maybe 800 square feet in retail space) that’s crammed-full with well-discounted Pepperidge Farm breads and cookies. They also carry a small inventory of other brand items, too, but essentially it’s 95% Pepperidge Farm. A-h-h-h. You can now relax and stop feeling guilty about hiding all those PF specialty cookies on the top shelf of your bedroom closet just so the kids didn’t get to them. Instead of those off-brand cheap ones THEY always got — but YOU’D never eat — you can finally make it up to them by sharing. Most recent purchases were their Sandwich White and Thin-Sliced White, both less than $ 2 per loaf, which is nearly 50% off retail pricing at Giant Eagle. And these were dated 7 – 10 days beyond.(Still fresh.) You’ll find several other loaf and bun options, crackers — I think Gold Fish(?) too, the familiar white-paper-wrapped cookie varieties plus the larger sized ones, too. READSIGNS: Same products you’ll find at any grocery store, but well-discounted at different levels depending on freshness. CHECKDATES: Most items that I checked had NOT reached expiration dates, but some had. Obviously, I can’t say your expired item will taste fresh, but I purchased a larger box of cookies(about 6.29 retail) for only 2.00, that had expired about one month prior. Would have never considered buying, but an open box on the counter — for customer sampling — was still fresh-tasting. 10% SENIORDISCOUNT: Sign on front window said Tuesday and Wednesday. I think it’s 60 years. BREADFREEZING: Depending on your freezer, the double-wrapped should do well for 4 – 6 weeks. You could also try freezing the single-wrapped, but maybe no more than 2 – 3 weeks. If you’ve never tried freezing, consider it — especially if you don’t live nearby. I’ve been doing this successfully, for years.
