Super cool secret. They have everything. The only reason why I took one star off was because they are a lite higher priced than Goody Goody and the cashier knew nothing about wines. He admitted it but was nice. If still come back and recommend them for small purchases.

Nice selection of beverages, a bit over priced though. Now that we have a choice in liqueur stores in the area, this is not my 1st choice to shop at. The employees are friendly and helpful. Conviently located.

I found this located in the westlake area, which has a great variety of drinks and beverages. The service there is friendly and quick to checkout and service patrons. It’s just the prices are so much higher than other places in the DFW area. Your paying 20% or higher for most drinks, and I have not found one thats lower prices than even centennial or beverage depot. There selection is moderate, but i’ve seen better and more varieties at other places. It’s a decent place considering there aren’t too many options in that location but it’s a shame that they have no near by competition as I bet prices would be better for the consumer. If you can go to any location or plan to buy in bulk, then I would highly suggest in finding another place. If this is the closest location and they carry what you like in stock then definitely go for it as it’s better than nothing.

This is a nice little store just off 114 in Westlake. If you live in the Grapevine/Southlake area it is quite simply the easiest liquor store to get to, given the highway construction in the area. While their selection is not as varied as the other local stores they carry all the basics, and the ease of access and parking more than makes up for the lack of selection. Despite all of the positives though, I can only give this store 2 stars. Why? They run out of what I drink on a weekly basis. I do mean weekly. Every week. I’m very particular in what I drink. My preferred spirit is one specific brand of Gin. While I keep other spirits on hand for friends, I normally end up buying at least one(normally two) bottles of this brand of Gin a week. Unfortunately, they run out so frequently I may have to go to the store 2 or 3 times during the week to find it. The employees there recommended that I buy it in bulk. According to them they run out so frequently that people will come in after their truck arrives, late on Thursday, and buy it by the case. According to the staff they normally run out within 48 – 72 hours, so getting there on the day the truck arrives is the only way to guarantee your purchase. I brought this up to a young man who identified himself as a manager. Generally, in a retail setting, if something is selling out on a consistent basis you purchase a higher quantity of it on your next order. His statement was, «We do order more for the next week, it comes in on Thursday.» It took several minutes to explain to him that I meant purchasing a higher quantity to sell, not just replenishing his order. His complaint was that there wasn’t adequate inventory space in the back. The funny thing is, they don’t close their stockroom door. If you walk into that part of the store you can readily see just how much inventory space they have available. They have more than enough room, particularly if they put a rack or two up. If they improved their storage space they could easily order enough product to ensure they don’t run out of anything during the week, allowing them to better service their customers. I like this store, I really do. It’s easy to access, has spacious parking, the staff is quite friendly, and it’s not as cramped as some of the other locations(Hall’s, I’m looking at you). But I just can’t give it a positive review if they don’t keep inventory on hand. That’s one of the most basic tenets of running a retail operation.

Wow, what an awesome store… And so close to home! The employees were friendly and very informative. The store itself was one on the cleanest liquor stores I’ve ever been in. The prices were the same or better than most liquor stores around. Great place, will be back soon!

Finally, an adult beverage store closer to home! Found it by chance as we headed to Weinberger’s for lunch(what a mistake — ). So finding Fossil Creek Spirits made up for a less than memorable lunch.
