Sadly, I’ve attended 2 funerals here & both times, I came away impressed with the professionalism of the staff here. They seem to know how to act in times like those, and it does not go unnoticed.
The first time I came with my sister in law, who had just lost her husband. I remember coming to sit down with the staff and help with the planning. I was impressed by the class and delicate touch that they exhibited, which extended all through the funeral ceremony. The second time I came for my uncle’s funeral. This time we had a service in the chapel prior to the burial. Both times I cannot express how much I appreciated the courtesy & professionalism.
The grounds are always clean & the landscaping is immaculate. I must say I haven’t explored the whole grounds but the 2 areas I’ve been to were nice, including a masoleum on the West side. They serve all faiths of the community. If you are searching for a place to bury a loved one, you won’t regret giving them a look.

I Highly Recommend Pierce Brothers, Valley Oaks in Westlake Village CA. All my expectations were exceeded by a lot. When mom passed, they came right out at midnight and picked her up with compassion and dignity. My mom had pre-​arrangements in Las Vegas and Pierce Brothers honored all the pricing. Phillip Trank, Family Service Counselor, took precise care of getting all the arrangements transferred over including the insurance policy that covers such things. He went out of his way to check for me to see if there was an additional benefit for travel insurance since mom was to be interned in Las Vegas. Franchesca Reis, Funeral Director, Took us through the process step by step. Very simple. The Flowers they arranged for were beautiful of course but their flower people also went an extra mile for our special request (a horseshoe arrangement). We had a wake/​rosary at their chapel, the attendant was very kind and professional. They had mom a the church for the funeral on time and had set up the flowers, sign-​in book and handed out the programs. They provided me with the note cards and description of flowers received and provided personalized thank you note cards and envelops. They coordinated everything with the Las Vegas cemetery. Their driver Jimmy drove mom from Thousand Oaks to Las Vegas for us, the transportation was simple and the cost was very reasonable, about $ 600 total. Jimmy was early and brought flowers and also contributed to overseeing the internment.

We recently attended a service of a good friend. We heard absolutely nothing. The speaker sound system was terrible. Everyone there said the same thing. «I heard every fourth word». Such a shame. It is the company’s responsibility to make sure the details are taken care of. Especially something so important.

Under such sad circumstances of a loved one’s death. This place was very helpful. Kathy is amazing and I really recommend her. She is super sweet and helped us out so much. She handled everything for us during this horrible time for me and my family. Kathy is the best!

After a horrible experience at Ivy Lawn cemetery in Ventura I was so happy to find this place. They really did everything right. We were treated with care and compassion. I was not «sold» a bunch of unnecessary services. I felt well informed so I was able to make good choices. I guess this would be a five star rating if it wasn’t so expensive.

Unfortunately this is the piece of life we never want to accept! we never want to see any of our loved ones leave but this is the life! When it happened to me and my family i was very disturbed but when my dad got buried here and all the nice service i got from this place made life much easier for us! this people really care and they show it by keeping this place quoted and clean for everyone! thank you to the amazing staff at Pierce brothers westlake village!

They promise and don’t deliver! All they seem to want and follow up on is selling space. Constant commication when you are looking to buy but when you need them for a loved one, they are not very available or compassionate. Sorry we committed there.

A professional, caring facility. I’d like to commend them for their service to the community. I’ve sung in two annual events: The Service of Remembrance during the holidays is for the families and friends of loved ones who passed during the year, and is quite touching. The Memorial Day tribute with bagpiper, military band, chorus, military presentations and flyovers. Very moving and well organized.

I came here looking for plots for my family and Michael was really helpful, drove me around the entire place and showed me where there was room to bury all 8 of us. It’s a beautiful and serene location and they are very respectful of any of your wishes. I have been to several funerals here and they have always been very orchestrated.

They recently handled a funeral for a loved one. They were more interested in selling me products then doing things correctly and with dignity.
