OMG best desserts ever. You can’t tell they are vegan and gluten free. The karma cookie and oatmeal chai cookies are TO DIE FOR! You can buy their stuff at erewhon too. I am obsessed.

Lovely little bakery. Everything is vegan and gluten-​free, but you wouldn’t know it by tasting any of the baked goods. Very friendly staff and the bread I bought was quite good. The employee was very sweet and offered me a sample of their vegan alternative to a hostess cupcake. Tasted as good or better. I never would have known it was vegan or gluten free. Will definitely visit again.

Just when I thought Karma couldn’t any better, they did! Not only are they gluten-​free & vegan, they’re now Pas Yisroel Kosher! Try the cranberry scones, glazed donut and cinnamon crumb donut, not to mention their brown bread baguette. Everything is fresh and flavorful. Never thought I could do gluten-​free, as I never found anything I liked, until Karma. Arek & Celine are wonderful, as is Theresa and all the others who work there. So friendly! And don’t forget to get a Rewards Card! Only other good Kosher places are in the valley. Maybe they’ll do sandwiches & salads next. Please support them. We want them to stay in the ‘hood!

Karma Baker knows how to make stunningly delicious vegan and gluten free desserts: no mean feat. I’ve tried a lot of vegan and gluten-​free items, but these are by far the best.
One of my students told me about this place and now we’re working our way through the entire menu. The Karma cakes and mini cupcakes are a-​may-​zing, as are the cookies. And did I mention the chocolate coconut cream pies?
The cakes are light and moist and the icing is not too sweet: and a perfect ratio of icing to cake. The cookies are soft with a crisp outer crunch. Lovely combination.

Ordered a lemon cake for Mother’s Day and for me, I got myself a Cookies & Cream cupcake, which was delicious!
We haven’t eaten the cake yet, but I’m excited to have it tomorrow after my yoga class! :)
The service here is exceptional. I was greeted when I came in, the staff are so humble and nice, and really appreciative I made the drive out. It was quite a distance from Burbank on the 101 North, but well worth it.
I am definitely coming back to pre-​order my cakes for other special occasions!
My favorite part was getting a complimentary hot tea, which on a rainy day, just made me feel like I was that much more loved.
Thank you Karma Bakery! I intend to try the Banana Cream, Chocolate, Pumpkin, and of course, Cookies & Cream pie next time!

My allergy kids are in heaven here! It did not disappoint with their delicious brownies and cupcakes. Even my son who has no dairy and egg allergy loved their chocolate cupcake. Can’t understand how it can be vegan and gluten free and taste so good when other companies fail so miserably. Really really good stuff. We’ll be back for sure!

I had a few questions about placing an online order. Not only did i receive a very quick reply they were super friendly. Now i am extremely happy placing an order and even more excited now. If we could only get other companies to follow suit.
I’ve had the pleasure of having some of their amazing cupcakes. Made with love and good clean ingredients you just cant go wrong. I only wished i lived closer.

Got a birthday cake for my Vegan Niece — was awesome, the whole family enjoyed!!!

I was so excited to have a vegan bakery near me but was so disappointed at the selection. Everything looked pre packaged/​frozen, the stuff set out in the glass case wasn’t labeled and they didn’t have any donuts.

Easy to give five stars to this place. Vegan, gluten-​free, delicious, AND gorgeous? Cmon.
I’d get married just to have them make my wedding cake so I could eat it.

Ok wow. Just… wow. I just had a lemon cupcake with strawberry frosting. It did more than hit the spot. Recently, I have had to cut dairy and gluten out of my diet. I was craving something sweet and was expecting to just get something meh. Man was I pleasantly surprised. I have tried countless vegan cakes before and they usually taste like sweet bricks at best. This cupcake had the best texture ever. Not too moist, not too dry. It wasnt overly sweet or bland.
This bakery has a wide variety of flavors for both the cake and the icing. Today, I also bought red velvet and vanilla. At this point, I cannot wait to try them. If you are gluten free or vegan, give these people a chance, you won’t regret it. I dont normally write Unilocal reviews but these people made me realize that just because you cant have a couple ingredients, it doesnt mean you have to sacrifice taste. Thank you.

Very nice people run this bakery. They go above and beyond to assist you and answer any questions you have. Purchased a cupcake for a friend. Chocolate with chocolate frosting. She loved the cupcake.

Bought an apple pie for turkey day, it was delicious! No one knew it was gluten free!. My new favorite bakery!

For people who are gluten free it’s hard to come by yummy gluten free desserts. This place is a gluten free facility where everything is gluten free AND vegan!!! It’s like heaven for people with Celiac because you have so many choices to choose from and everything is tasty! Staff could be friendlier but the baked goods are worth it :)

Found this place via the Mogl app since they were doing their Spend $ 10, Get $ 10 promo.
I had the Chocolate Coconut Crème Tart, the Keylime Tart and a mini Red Velvet cupcake and all of them were delicious.
Today I ordered three Banana Crumb Cake Muffins but haven’t had a chance to try them yet because I put them in the freezer for later.
Anyway, this place is really cute and so far everything is pretty yummy so will definitely keep coming back. :)

Karma bakery, how did you hide from me this past year? How did I not find your moist, walnut brownies or your tasty karma cakes or your delicious baked black and white frosted chocolate donut? Well. I found you now, I will be back.
I’m not a vegan, although I do like freshly prepared, organic treats and I like thoughtful food. You put a whole lotta effort into your work, I can tell. Your store was clean when we arrived and you were busy, that’s a good sign.
I’m hoping as you grow you will expand your available items. There’s a huge market to tap into and as your slogan says, you cracked the code.

I LOVE vegan desserts & was so excited to try this place out for a celebratory treat. However, this place was sooo incredibly disappointing & I was left super unsatisfied.
I’m a die hard keylime fan. Anything keylime immediately gets my attention, so of course I had to get the key lime tart. It was disgusting. Not only was the flavor off, but so was the texture of the whole thing. It was frozen solid. Ummm, why would you not tell us that it had to be defrosted prior? Even so, there wasn’t a separation of tart layer & pie crust. It all tasted like pie crust, with key lime juice in it. Just no.
Also got the chocolate crème tart & same thing. Rock hard frozen. All I tasted was rich chocolate — nothing impressive whatsoever. With a thick layer of frozen frosting on top.
The only reason this place gets 2 stars is because the oatmeal cookie was okay, though still not enough reason for me to return.

I LOVE this place!
Being someone with food allergies (corn, gluten, etc)…it has been very difficult to find good gluten-​free treats.
The issue for people like myself is that gluten-​free foods like bread, cake, and cookies usually don’t taste good and/​or their texture is off.
Karma Baker’s treats are nothing short of a godsend. Their cookies and cakes are superb. I have given them to friends whom are not into gluten-​free foods and they are surprised when they learn that it’s gluten-​free.
