This place has amazing food and it’s such a shame they have the most INCOMPETENT and RUDE workers. I try so hard to get over how disorganized and rude they are to eat the food but I can’t. everytime I have eaten there they either mess up my order, forget my order, or take 20 minutes at the cash register because they«can’t find the button». only go here if you have 45 minutes to spare and lots of patience

Impossibly slow and disorganized. The bowls are delicious, but definitely not worth a 30 minute wait. I gave this place a few chances, and each time multiple orders were lost or late as I watched the mess unfold. Angry customers, including myself. Twice in a row I had to ask where my order was and twice was asked what I ordered, so they could make it. Sorry, I don’t do this often.

Asked them to split a juice and they wanted to charge me an additional .50 to the already outrageous price of 6.50. The juice took WAY too long to make– were they picking the vegetables themselves. AND after the 10 minutes it took to receive the juice– my daughter found huge chunks of bananas and unblended fruit! Wont be coming back here again.

What’s the point of ordering online if I’m still going to have to wait 20 minutes past the pickup time I asked for??! Not cool when I’m on my lunch break !

Very delicious Acai bowls here! Seems to be much healthier than a traditional smoothie or bowl shop. The ingredients seem very fresh and the employees really take their time to make sure the toppings are arranged nicely. Parking over here can be tough during rush times, but definitely check it out if you’re looking for a healthy snack!

This place is so good but open too late. They would probably get a lot more business if they were open for breakfast.

I must give an update. Its been almost a year that I have been going here. I do love this place, but every time I go there there is an inconsistency in service or product. I will continue to go here once in a while because I do like their juices and I do like their acai bowls but at least 30– 40% of the time, I order the seasider. and the fruit part is NOT very rich, and its a lighter color than the times before. It’s supposed to be a darker purple fruit/acai blend. I wrote about this in another review and the owner contacted me and wanted to make it right. I didn’t want to take advantage, and respected the effort in trying to make it right, so I just deleted the review because the next few times I went it, the acai bowl was back to the original quality i had previously experienced. But here I am again, feeling that I have to write about the inconsistency in the product… I try to be health conscious and the acai. fruit blend in the bowls are the most nutritious part, so its important to me. Ill start off by saying that almost all the employees are really really nice. Especially Frank? I think it is? Maybe I am mistaken by the name. I went in a few months ago and they had a pumpkin bowl that was seasonal. I thought Id try it, but because I don’t consume certain dairy products and the pumpkin bowl had«whipped cream» as a topping… I asked the blonde(manager? shift supervisor?) if it was a milk based product. She went on to give me one of the most rude customer service experiences I have had. She looked at me, with a blank face and said«its non-dairy.» And I said, okay, what is it then?(as I am careful about milk alternatives). And she looked at me like i was stupid and said in a rude tone, slowly this time, «its non-dairy». I said, «right, but it has to be made out of something, what is the whipped cream made out of? soy? almond?» She was very flustered with my question, and with heavy sighs, made me feel that I was being difficult. She said«well, i dont know. its non-dairy. um…» and then proceeded to yell out to the other employees what the whipped cream might be made out of instead of just looking at the can. A few more rude things were conveyed to me, another employee effortlessly got the can and gave it to her… and she gave it to me. Maybe she doesn’t care about what she consumes, but most people going to a health food shop like the one she works at, do. I really wish I hadn’t annoyed her so much, but I ended up not getting the pumpkin bowl and also didn’t go back for 4 months. And in case anyone’s wondering… its made out of palm oil.

Great product! DELICIOUS every time. But y’all have GOT to figure out a way to execute orders faster. My husband and I both work across the street and therefore we frequent your store. But when I have 30 minutes to take a lunch and it takes between 20 – 40 minutes for my bowl to come out even when I order it on the app… It’s not worth it. But I’m sure there’s a solution so I look forward to this improving!

My kale smoothie was great — but pricey(minus 1 star)! Thanks for allowing a modification to it although I do wish you did not premake so many of your items — those cant be modified and impacted my order(minus 1 star)

The prices are pretty reasonable and the food/drinks are decent, but the wait is insane. 25 – 30 minutes is way too long to wait!

I thought I would give Bowl of Heaven in Westlake a try today… I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered a bowl for myself and a smoothie for a friend. The were both great… consistency was good and both tasted very fresh! They were a little busy but I didn’t wait too long… it was within reason because I realize they take a little while to make. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I will definitely be back again soon!

Potential for 5 but my review lands at a solid 4. I like the bowls, especially the top part with the fruit and granola. The rest of the bowl is ok but just doesn’t have a lot of flavor to me. I have to make sure I eat the frozen part of the bowl with the fruit, granola and honey to make it better. Yes, the service can be a bit slow because of the time it takes make the bowls, but never over the top slow. My biggest complaint is that they don’t open until 9am. If they opened at 8am they’d have more business. From me, at least.

I tried the regular Sunset acai bowl today. The bowl was delicious — I felt like I was having dessert for lunch. The blend was rich and creamy, totally indulgent, but packed with healthy goodness. If I could change anything, I would put a little less of the blend and little more fresh fruit on top, but I really can’t complain. I liked what I got, and the regular was plenty! I would definitely come back to try another bowl.

This is the worst one I have been at pertaining to I know organization. This place has been unbelievable we waited for 25 minutes because the owner didn’t know what he was doing. Then when you try to get a refund and not have to wait he tells you that he doesn’t know how to do it and you have to wait anyway. The quality is good as all the other locations and the Decour, but this place is so unorganized it’s ridiculous. If someone starts a franchise, then they should know how to run it. While we were there for five people walked out and he told them it was a half an hour top it off he didn’t offer anything in return for being held hostage for the order.

Tried«Bowl of Heaven» for the first time today. I’ve had acai bowls from«Sunlife Organics» as well as well Jamba’s version. Price was good for the size and amount of toppings. I got the«Red Zinger» with strawberries on top. They don’t charge extra for adding them on(most of them, some options charge $ 1 more). It was really yummy, with plenty of toppings. The acai was creamy, like soft serve ice cream almost. I couldn’t finish the whole large bowl. I also got the Popeye Blast. It’s not bad, but not my favorite. I think Sunlife’s smoothies are better. The bowls are to die for here though! Staff was eh. Owner was friendly but the workers looked bored. I did the mobile order and it was ready quick!

This was amazin! I’ve never be me to an acai bowl place, or had an acai bowl, but I am SO impressed. I was greeted by a very friendly employee named Mila. She took my order, and helped me out with what I wanted since I had never had the pleasure of having an acai bowl. I was completely unsure of what I wanted, and she happily helped me get to my decision. The bowl was outstanding. A place that delivers such a great product while maintaining excellent customer service like what Mila provided deserves a 5 star rating for sure. Thanks Bowl Of Heaven!

Update: I’ve been disappointed with bowl of heaven the last few times I’ve gone. I hate to do this but I am taking my rating down a star. Here are the reasons: I have been getting less and less fruit toppings on my acai bowl each time I go. When I brought this up to an employee they mentioned something about cost of fruit?! What a disappointment. That combined with the inconsistent texture of the smoothie part of the bowls(i.e. Chunks of ice and acai not blended well) takes my opinion of bowl of heaven down a notch. Also, I’ve stared feeling guilty about doling out almost 9 dollars for a bowl when not all the ingredients are organic… That said I’ll probably still stop by for lunch since it is convenient and still pretty tasty. Previous 5 star review below — - Amazing! I come almost once a week for lunch at this point. Food: Top marks for freshness. It is really tasty and there are lots of options for acai bowls, juice, and smoothies. I strongly recommend the peanut butter acai bowl. I love that you can make substitutions and customizations without an issue. The regular size acai bowl is plenty of food! Bring your appetite. Service: Friendly service. As others have noted it can be a bit slow, but that’s because they’re making everything fresh and nothing is pre made. You can always place your order online if you’re in a rush. Location: A little hard to find. Turn in at the inn n out burger and make a left. It will be on your left side by greens up and tifa gelato. This shopping center is beautiful, it’s nice to sit outside by the fountain with your food(there are even mountain views!). Prices: It seems like I can’t spend less than 9 dollars here, but the ingredients are high quality and that’s really what you will end up spending at any place like this. Overall I highly recommend bowl of heaven :)

I wanted so badly to like this place. Its got cute décor, it’s in a prime spot — but these are NOT acai bowls. I ordered the Dan’s PB Bowl(Organic Açaí, Bananas, Strawberries, Peanut Butter, Chocolate Almond Milk &MAQ7). I always get acai bowls with peanut butter, and have had it done so right and this one was just … wrong. The best part about an acai bowl is the texture. That’s the POINT of getting an acai bowl — the thick, almost ice cream-like consistency that acai bowls are known for. The texture on this bowl was … a smoothie. No, WORSE than a smoothie. My sister got a berry smoothie and it was thicker than my bowl. How does that happen? It wasn’t just the texture: the Dan’s PB Bowl I got was also completely washed of any acai flavor. I couldn’t even taste peanut butter! Somehow it didn’t taste like any of its listed ingredients. It’s clear what they did was just take acai, and blended the shit out of it with almond milk and peanut butter to make a borderline-soupy concoction. It was sooo disappointing. And for almost $ 8, a total rip off! Go somewhere else where you’ll get to see what a real acai bowl tastes like.

From all the acai bowl places I think this place is the winner in my list. I have been a fan of sun life for while now, and don’t get me wrong, I still am! However, this place is way closer to where j live and honestly I think the quality is much better at just a slightly lower price for the bowls. I was recommended by my sister to try this place numerous times. I even noticed that her and her friends would come home at times with the bowls and just kept raving about them. Finally, I gave it a try and wow I was just amazed. Could there really be a place that does acai bowls better than sun life? Yes there is and this gem was about 5 minutes away from my house. I went and I ordered the Northshore original and I added Belgium chocolate on top. The toppings were very fresh from the fruits to the chocolate. Overall, this place is a must to try especially if you are into acai bowls. I will definitely be a regular here.
