Big Picture Framing

In short my recommendation is to find somewhere else. This location is 30 mins from home. I go there with my $ 100 oil canvas of a birch landscape, purchased on ebay. A clerk waits on me and was good while I selected a frame. But there is a catch … I need to have a segment of this canvas cut to fit in the allowed space above my fireplace. No problem. A week later the store manager calls me and tells me their policy is «to preserve art and not wreck it» and she will be unable to cut it … but instead she can use another technique that may result in the picture being wavy! Good deal? NOT. I picked it up and took it elsewhere — they are more than willing to serve the customer’s needs. So 2 hours of round trip driving plus about 45 mins in the store and I have nothing to show for my time! There are a lot of agendas being served by this store and one of them is NOT customer service. Find somewhere else to frame YOUR print — valuable or not.
