Old, run down and dirty. This place will not be missed by many when it’s torn down in the near future. I miss the old Jolly Trolley and it’s gone downhill ever since.

went to the bar to see NFC wild card game 1÷11÷16 and an off duty bartender changes the channel of a TV we were watching to basketball and walked to the other end of the bar. Tall skinny guy. what an inconsiderate move for a hospitality business.

Casual spot, dim lighting, and an avid sports crowd. Nice draft beer selection. Tight for space around the bar– stood at a table with my cousin Tori. Came Sunday during football season for a drink before dinner. Only had one bartender who seemed to get pretty busy.

Walked in Sunday at 3pm for a glass of wine. It was full blown football rage with ages 40& up. Took 10 mins before I could order a drink. There was no where to sit so we stood by the bar. No greeting by anyone that works there. No service at all whatsoever. Didn’t Order any food. Couldn’t even get a menu

I used to come here years ago when it was the Jolly Trolley. This was my first time since it became The Office. You get the feeling of being in a very old building, which adds to the charm. However, the bathroom needs updating, and is very small with no room for people to walk by you to get to the sink. There’s a bar area with high tables to the right as you walk in. Several TVs are in that area for watching sports. Down a hallway are booths and further down tables for dining. Westfield doesn’t have a lot of choices for watching sports, so this is one of the better options to see games. Behind the bar is another room for dining. I noticed many people in there with their laptops, so it appears to be a popular evening place to get some work done over a glass of wine. Service was good. I had a buffalo chicken pizza which was fairly decent, but not outstanding. Perhaps a little less blue cheese would have been good, as it was overpowering everything else. I’ve been to newer and more modern offices, which are great. The architecture here is older, which is cool in its own way. Westfield has a lot of outstanding choices, making it hard for the Office to compete.

The ambience is very good; however, the food is below average. The server was very friendly also. We had the chicken lemon grass dumplings as a starter and they were very good. However, our entrées were not spectacular. I had the California burger with sweet potato fries. My burger was dry and the fries were cold. My boyfriend had the aloha chicken sandwich with salad. The sandwich was okay, but the salad looked like it was just thrown on the plate. It was a nice looking place, with a lovely atmosphere however the food wasn’t worth it.

I went to The Office for lunch today with my husband and niece because I was craving for a good burger and fries and wanted to catch the game. Let me tell you how so disappointed I was. I don’t eat beef so I was excited to see chicken and turkey burger options as a substitute for the patty. I ordered the California burger with a turkey substitute and their normal fries on the side. First — The Wait We waited a long time for the food which was surprising since they weren’t busy at all when we showed up. And I noticed that people who arrived after us got their food first — they were sitting at a bar table. Second — The Food Burger — it was so flavorless and unseasoned right off the bat on the first bite, the turkey burger patty was so overcooked and so crisp burned on the outside that it may be what eating rubber must be like, the chipotle mayo had no hint of spice and it just tasted like regular mayo — and not the good kind of mayo, the slice of red onion and one sad slice of tomato were piled on top of each other right in the middle so no other bite of the burger had it, and two tiny slivers of avocado — I couldn’t even taste the pepper jack cheese. The potato bread was decent but what good is bread if the stuff in between doesn’t taste great. After a bite or two, I had to make a ketchup and tabasco mix just to get through the last few bites of just HALF of my burger Fries — these sad fries looked like the last of the frozen pieces at the bottom of the bag — so unimpressed with it and like the burger, no seasoning. The only good thing about it was the crunch. Third — The Service The person who waited on us was new so she had no idea about the beer selections and she had to call on someone else to help. Fine — everyone needs to start training somewhere — can’t blame her. When at the end, I had half my burger remaining and she asked if I wanted a box, I told her that I didn’t enjoy my burger and it was overcooked and under-seasoned. She apologized and said she would tell the kitchen. I wasn’t looking for my money back, I wasn’t looking for a free meal — I was looking for the manager to come out and acknowledge that there was an issue with the meal. But no one came out. Only our server came back with the check after we decided on no dessert. That was the worst part of the meal — no one came out. There is no chance I will be coming back to this place again. The only reason this place got 2 stars is because my husband and niece ordered the chicken substitution on their burger and seemed to enjoy their meal. I had a bite and I was unimpressed.

Bland like all the other locations. Food was not appealing at all and the prices are crazy for what you get. I now know why it has been years since I have been to an office location.

This place has been known as «The Trolley» by the locals to the area. I don’t know if I can notice a shift in this place from that time to when it became the office. Let me just cut to the chase. There’s nothing to brag about here. If you want some pub fare or a quick drink this might be where you want to come before you make your way to your final destination. That’s all I have to say.

Average bar with sub par food. Seems to get a good crowd for football. I have been here a few times and will probably go back @ some point. I am not in a rush to do so.

Friendly staff with sportsy atmosphere. Mostly just a local haunt where reunioners rendevouz after their events. A ton of sitting room, which speaks a lot about the appeal. A few positive notes included the Beer Flights: five samplers of your choosing for 7 dollars. Not bad. I had a few of those to get me feeling nice. That’s 15 six ounce little beers if you do the math. But not enough to knock me over. I didn’t get any of the food but I hear it’s decent… Again, your typically local watering hole.

Cozy, laid-back atmosphere. Jonathan, our waiter, gave us excellent service! Try the fish tacos, they’re amazing!

I frequent The Office quite regularly during football season. It’s a great place to watch a game. They’ll have every game on different TVs around the bar, so you can easily catch all the action. Additionally, they have a great happy hour menu on Sundays for the football season. Cheap beers and cheap food — perfect combo. The food is just OK — good enough for casual game-watching, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to stop by The Office just for dinner.

Horrible service. Waited 20 minutes just to get a menu then another 30 to order. Ordered the fried chicken and it was FREEZINGCOLD in the middle. Instead of replacing my meal, they just fried it a little longer which resulted in hard nasty chicken. To top it all off, the general manager lady is a bigot. The other Indian manager has no idea what he’s doing and is just plain creepy. Came over and just stared at me while I ate. DONOTEATHERE. Only thing good about the place is the beer and you can get that anywhere

I have come here almost every Sunday starting in September. This place has all sorts of seasonal specials(right now it’s football & Oktoberfest) and happy hours. Who doesn’t like a 100 oz beer tower for $ 18(blue moon). There’s always a decent amount of people watching football the times I have come and everything I’ve had there is good — chili con carne, pulled pork sliders, spinach artichoke dip(the chips are not the best but the dip is good), ribs(fantastic fall off the bone type), the french onion soup(a little more watery than I’d like but still decent), grilled cheese sandwich with bacon and the fries. All are delish!

The only reason for one star is that they had Dogfish Burton Baton on tap. Funny, it was brought by mistake, sent back and the waiter returned with it saying the bartender said we could keep it. Service, food and atmosphere are all failures. 70s disco as dinner music was horrific. 3 other people at the bar and maybe 10 people having dinner. Clearly the locals have stopped coming as it has been this way for the past 2 years or so. The waiter actually forgot to put one of the meals in to the kitchen and did not realize it until after he brought the other 4 meals… last meal brought out as we were all finishing. Untrained staff, old and dirty interior, bland food. Waiter was busy trying to be funny and clearly knows nothing about food service. Admitted this is is first job and was working there for 2 weeks… I hope that people stop going here so they go out of business as Westfield needs a real bar. This used to be The Jolley Trolley and a Westfield goto location for many years. This place is sad… a great candidate for Restaurant Impossible or Bar Rescue!

This is a nice after work place place to get a drink and dinner. There is a good happy hour special. Their pretzels are fried!!! The southwest spring rolls are great too. But, this place seems like the much older crowd watering hole. Its right next to the raritan valley train station.

Like all Office locations it’s overpriced with mediocre food, but the ambiance is still«dive bar» from the Trolley days. If only everything else could have been kept from those days. At least the food isn’t dreadful, but it tries to be pretentious and that requires a much more modernized space to pull it off. I have no idea what clientele would be attracted to this place. Then they canceled the weekly trivia, so that took out a good portion of their regular weekday crowd. Whose bright idea was that? P. S. Only order anything during happy hour. When the food comes down to half price it actually is about the right price. Regular prices are obscene for the tiny portions.

Eff it, kids. This place is pretty good. The décor is lacking but I wasn’t coming here for the sights. I came here because I was told the food was good. And guess what? I wasn’t told wrong. Off the train was I and into The Office I went. It was an afternoon and they weren’t particularly busy at the time. My server gave me her utmost attention and paired with the quality of the food? No question, I have to give this place their dues. I ordered the firecracker shrimp and their margherita pizza. I also sampled one of their house brews. I was not at all disappointed. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, though not as spicy as I would have liked. The margherita pizza was PERFECT. I’m embarrassed to say it, but this was the first grilled pizza I’ve had. And it was GOOD. This joint is worth the visit.
