Don’t you love it when you can receive simple, healthy and fresh, food in a timely manner served with courtesy in a clearly hygienically maintained environment? Accomodating staff, fair prices, fresh food at advertised prices in a comfortable milieu can consistently be obtained here. Perhaps the steady stream of customers is indicative and a confirmation of my positive review here. Thanks for restoring my faith in the basic required integrity of those engaged in serving the public food. Your honest work and respect to those who choose to bestow their patronage to you shines through. A restaurant(whatever type that may be) has a serious obligation to be clean, honest and cognizant of their customers satisfaction and safety. Thanks for fulfilling that obligation unlike so many blaise and condescending competitors, regardless of price range. Bravo.

Just picked up my $ 60 order and it was all correct. It was at the pick up point on time. BUT everything was unceremoniously tossed in the bag in such a manner that my chicken Caesar salad almost spilled all over the bag. But all was together and right so it was ok.

One of the worst Panera’s I’ve been and I’ve been to many throughout the US with kids in sports. The picture is of a WHOLE $ 10 salad. I think the picture says it all!

Good bread, sandwiches, etc. — small and crammed. The food is as good as any other Panera — it’s just a small space and it’s tight — I believe that’s why it may take longer to get in and out. A major nuisance is the stroller crowd, who not only take up most of the chairs and tables but also block any and all walking path. Oh, and putting three tables on the sidewalk is not al-fresco dining.

It took 18 minutes to get my grilled cheese and chicken soup. The girl making the food was very rude. Don’t come here if you are in a rush.

My order took less time than expected. Although one of the girls in training forgot to give me my soda cups and cookies, another employee, Natalie was very knowledgeable about the products and gave me a good suggestion on cookies. She was very pleasant to deal with. She made up for any of the trainee’s mistakes. Would definitely go there again.

Where is the 0 rating! I’m forced to give a 1! This doesn’t even deserve that! Was just there, as the girl was preparing my food her hair was dangling in the food! I complained to the manager, asked for someone else to make my sandwich, and not one person apologized!

I wanted to meet my friend so we decided Panera Bread in Westfield would be half way between both our homes. This was my first time at this Panera located on East Broad Street. Parking is such a big problem in Westfield but there happens to be a a large parking lot right behind the store and easy access thru the back. Once inside you get a very warm and comfy feeling. There are nice assortment of tables and chairs and two counters one to place your food order and one to pick up your order. All coffee is self served at a different station. There is light roast, decaf, dark roast, hazelnut coffee. I love there dark roast coffee. It has rich body and is full of flavor. What I also like is on every large pot of coffee is a card that lets you know what time the fresh pot was made and put out. (true coffee drinkers hate stale old coffee that’s been laying around.) All the breads here looked fresh baked and amazing! They were beautifully displayed. There bagels were big the size of mini frisbee. My friend had a turkey and avocado sandwich on homemade white bread(I know u say white bread) but it looked awesome! She loved it! I wasn’t hungry so I had a cranberry orange citrus muffin. It reminded me of fall yet it was so refreshing because of the orange zest in it. I didn’t even need to add butter or jelly. FYI– I would suggest when ordering coffee if you plan on eating there order a small size. You get get free refills. The staff was extremely friendly and was always smiling. when I presented my Panera membership card the cashier asked if I would like my discount on top of the 99cent muffin. I walked up to get a mayo for my friend and the container only had one, the girl behind the counter said” let me know if u need any more and I’ll get it for u.’ Great customer service. I would definitely recommend this Panera Bread store and will be back soon.

Two stars for being sustenance in general. I’m not a fan of Panera bread at all. This was my first time eating it, and I was not impressed. The names of things looked nice, as did the ingredients, but when I got my food, it was just so… basic? I expected something more for what I paid. Soup I had was alright, but I could saved that cash for a better restaurant, even if it was more expensive. Oh well.

It is a little expensive and can get so crowded especially in the afternoon when all the kids are coming out of school and like to hang out there. Manager has had to kick them out before. However, it is alright for a bite once in a while, as a treat. Food is expensive and as per my boyfriend, doesn’t really fill him up. Parking is in the back lot and there is a back entrance.

It’s our home base Panera Bread. Like all the others except it’s a downtown location so you need to spend a moment finding on-street parking. It stays busy during the day as a meet-and-greet place for moms with pre-school kids, broken up by the business workers at lunch time. We like the one in Westfield, we like the nearby Panera on Route 22 in Springfield, and we make it a point to search out Panera just off the interstate on long trips: There’s probably a better restaurant nearby and certainly a lot of worse restaurants nearby so choosing Panera helps you cut your losses. In Westfield if you like the Panera style, check out The Turning Point 2 blocks away. Turning Point is a cross between high-end Panera and upscale diner. TP is a dollar or two more for the same sandwich, salad, or soup and tastes a dollar or two better.

The clueless, disorganized service here is painfully slow. There’s never more that one register open, and the cashiers barely seem to understand English. Waiting for a beverage that you have ordered is awkward, because there is no place to stand, and half the time there is no one behind the counter to even fill it, until a manager comes running up with a deer-in-the-headlights reaction. They never seem to have iced coffee when it is hot outside, although, if you insist, they will sell you hot coffee poured over ice(if you explain to them how to make it). Last time I came here, I got stuck behind another customer who wanted to buy two dozen of their awful bagels. The server disappeared into the back for like two minutes, then returned with a pad and a pencil to write down exactly what the lady wanted. Why he had to make a list, when the baskets of bagels were, literally, right behind him, I don’t know.

I’d never been to a Panera before I moved to the area and stopped here. I’m usually not much for chain restaurants, but this place is great. The staff are always notably friendly, the sandwiches and soups are awesome and the seats by the front window are — somehow — always free. Disadvantages: it gets super-crowded, sometimes roving packs of children take over the place when school lets out, and the wifi has a 30-minute limit around lunchtime.

This is a typical Panera location, but it’s always very crowded. You have to come with patience in terms of getting a table, but I generally find the staff to be friendly and the food always comes out quickly and correct, even when I order with specifications. I love it for lunch.

I love Panera food, so this rating is primarily for the service. Today I ordered 3 of the pick 2 deals to go & the ones prepping my food couldn’t even remember what I ordered and it wasn’t even busy. Also lacked manners

We don’t care much for the bread used for panini. However, all other sandwiches we’ve tried were excellent. Our favorite is the Turkey Bravo. The dressing is incredible. We’ve also tried lots of other hot sandwiches and they’re all yummy! They also give out free bread, apple or chips with the sandwitches. The free bread is also delicious. We don’t care much for the muffins. We have not found any good muffins in NJ yet. We would buy some from Mrs. Field’s in NYC and bring them home.

this is the worst managed chain I’ve ever seen. I spent about $ 10 for my sandwich and coffee, and quality was absorutely horrible. They put about 1 oz of chicken in my sandwich and brown lettuce. The worst sandwich I’ve ever had.

Popped in here for a quick meal. The staff seems a bit overwhelmed with a line of 4 – 5 people, they had only a single register open until someone politely started commenting on the speed of the line(three registers, at least, actually). The chicken noodle soup was lukewarm, noodles falling apart, and chunks of either noodle or fat floating on the surface. Not impressed. The greek salad… disappointing, not enough feta, olives too salty. The strawberry poppyseed salad, though, was decent. And to top off the problems… gave me 1 napkin for 2 meals ordered to go. Standard Panera layout. Nothing special here, decently clean.

I’ve never experienced a run-out of bread, but this Panera seems to be in line with the others. The food is tasty but overpriced for the portions and some of their healthy sandwiches have a surprisingly large number of calories and fat. Your number gets called quickly within 5 – 8 minutes, I’d say, and they offer free wireless. If you go late at night, sometimes you can get a discount on the bakery section. As for real food, I highly recommend the tuna sandwich or broccoli and cheddar soup.
