Excellent burgers. Made to order with all of the usual toppings. Friendly staff at this location. We got one order of fries to split and it there were more than we could eat together. Fries were good but some of them were a little undercooked. They were also very salty. I like to use the malt vinegar on my fries and there were also plenty of other condiments you might want to put on your burger. This review doesn’t sound very positive and that’s not intentional. We enjoyed our burgers very much and liked the soda machines that can dispense any drink imaginable in at least three different flavors. It’s best to order one drink to share as well. It’s a gigantic cup and with unlimited refills you might as well get one and share it. Don’t want to sound like a cheapskate but it only makes sense. I put the extra soda and fry money into our tip which made the staff very happy. We will look forward to coming back to Five Guys in the near future.

Mine too is for no particular location. This is now my go to when traveling through New England or just in the mood for a great burger! Burgers are tops and fries are very good and usually generous portions. Peanuts are a nice extra.

This review is not for this particular location. The burgers and grilled cheese are delicious. They are usually generous with a regular order of fries that’s enough for 2 people. Ask for them extra crispy because sometimes they can be soggy.

Great location. I’m a huge fan of Five Guys Burgers and Fries and have visited numerous locations, and this one is the cleanest and also most organized. The place is nearly spotless and the tables are cleaned almost as soon as people are done eating. The food is the same as all of the locations, but this location does have what appears to be very new soda machines that not all of the locations have.

Took my 11 year old granddaughter here for lunch. We had the hot dogs and an order of fries. Dogs were good but French Fries were not crispy enough for my taste. Service is quick, prices are good, there was no wait. I’ll probably go back if I have kids with me again, but I’ll skip the fries.

Food is secondary here– go for the music and Coca-Cola Freestyle machine. Honestly– having access to unlimited Diet Coke with all kinds of flavors makes me giddy– but hearing songs from Oasis, Foreigner, Guns N Roses, Neil Diamond and Blondie all in one sitting makes for an enjoyable afternoon or evening. I like it that I can bring my family here and everyone can find something to eat, even when I am watching carbs. Staff is always polite, restrooms are clean and burgers are nicely done, with or without bun. Kids love the hot dogs here. This location is far superior to others in the area. A family favorite!

WOW! What a great way to treat yourself after running a half marathon! It had been a couple of years since I had been here so I took my daughter for lunch a couple of days after my run. I had the cheeseburger with relish, ketchup, mushrooms, and tomatoes. My daughter had the cheeseburger with tomatoes and lettuce. We also had a large bag of fries. Needless to say, it went down very easy. The burgers are cooked fresh in front of you and the fries are hot, greasy, and salty. What a great combo! The bun held up well with my messy burger. The place was busy but the line moves. I don’t think I’ll wait 2 years for my next visit.

Ordered the basic cheese burger, regular fries and a soda. The burger was two patties with cheese in between them, along with the toppings I chose. I would say the burger was cooked medium well, which is usually how I like my burgers. The fries were excellent. Most were crisp. They are substantial in size(both the quantity and quality) and have the skin on. The regular size is enough for at least two people to share. They even had a sign on the wall indicating where the potato’s were from. I guess they make the fries there in the store. They have 2 Coke machines that dispense fountain drinks. These are the new machines that offer 1000’s of soda combinations. Excellent! The large store has plenty of tables and was pretty empty when I went in. It’s clean and bright inside. Parking is on the street and there’s a lot around the corner.

I enjoy eating at 5 Guys. It is a burger chain. When you arrive you walk up to the counter to place your order. You can order a single which I do, it’s plenty big or double style burger. What I like is you tell them the toppings you want on your burger. Lettuce, onion, tomatoes, cheese, pickles, with or without bacon etc. I would suggest ordering fries. You can see different bags of potatoes on the floor. Each month a different kind of potato is brought in from different parts of the country. The skin is left on when they are fried. You can add cheese etc. The burgers are juicy and rich. The fries well I can’t stop eating them. Once your order is placed you are given a receipt and you wait. At lunch time the lines can get long. What is interesting is 5Guys provides everyone with free peanuts while you wait for your order to be processed. You just help yourself. I suggest if you get your order to go you check it first. Mistakes are sometimes made. All in all for a fast food place it’s well worth a try.

Lots of toppings on a cheap bun. The burger falls apart after one bite. Couldn’t you at least toast the bun?

Where’s there a better place for a burger? Seriously I’m asking! Love 5 guys burgers. Always manages to hit the spot and had a great selection for my people that are big eaters or people like my wife who didn’t want a lot. The peanuts are always fantastic thing to munch on while you wait. Wish the dining area was a little cleaner but what do you expect at a burger joint
They shorted us on the fries twice, so we tend to go with the one at Blue Star drive in Watchung. We’re short on time and don’t want to cook today, so I called in an order at this location. I wanted to post and say that the guy was super polite and friendly, which is always nicer than some bored-sounding teenager that you’d think wasn’t getting paid to help you. Hopefully we get fries that don’t look half-eaten this time lol Want to add also that Five Guy’s in general is a very good restaurant. The menu is simple basics, with a vegetarian option. Not the MOST cost-effective eating, but it’s good to have on occasion. This is definitely a good alternative to Friendly’s since they lowered the value and jacked the price up a few years back. They don’t have ice cream though ;)

I am vegetarian so my choices are not much here, but I must say that the veggie burger with just lettuce tomato cheese and etc it’s amazing! So good and the French fries are to perfection. I’m not much of a fast food type of girl but I come here for a veggie murther at least once a month :) The workers are always so friendly and nice :)

Five Guys is Five Guys where ever you go. It’s consistent with taste each time at any location. As far as this location in Westfield, don’t go there on a Friday evening or Saturday to grab a burger. It is filled with the entire Westfield teenage crowd who aren’t in any way supervised, but just allowed to run free in the streets of Westfield only to end up in Five Guys crowding the joint and not buying anything, just eating Free peanuts and making alot of noise. Otherwise. on a weeknight, great place to grab a burger!

FINALLY an east coast alternative to In-N-Out. The burgers are a delight and the fries are amazing. I order my fries extra well done without salt. Yum!

Ate there again today with my son. We both had the Bacon Cheeseburgers with our favorite condiments and add-ons. Split one order of small fries and still couldn’t eat all of it. Free refills on the sodas is a nice plus. And the burgers are still smackin’ good.

In Springfield on business, I was just looking for a decent burger. I’ve been up in the NJ/NY area before, and heard of this chain and read many mixed reviews. I got a Bacon Cheeseburger(it didn’t say double on the board but that’s what I got) with grilled onions, lettuce and tomato(they didn’t ask how I wanted it cooked, and it came just below medium), and a bacon dog with mustard and a small cajun fries. You get your order in a bag whether you want to eat in or to go. The burger was pretty good. Is it the In ‘n Out of the East coast? Not by a long shot, but it was decent. Legendary? Meh. It’s got nothing on Shake Shack. The bacon dog was lacking. A split dog with a slice of bacon in it(mine had cheese although I didn’t order it). The ‘small’ fries for over 2 $ were plentiful and good. Overall a good burger joint for a chain, and it better be when the franchises cost over a 1mil liquid to get. There are open boxes of peanuts that you can help yourself to. My bill for this and a drink was 13 $. not terrible for the amount of food. I’d go back in a pinch, but not as a regular place.

This franchise, store No. 465, just opened last week. The operation is exactly like the FIve Guys in Watchung, NJ that I reviewed recently, and, undoubtedly, the other 463 as well. They have cardboard cartons full of peanuts that you can munch, while you wait for them to call out your number, sort of like a circus elephant waiting for your cue to perform. I had a single burger with cheese, sautéed onion, mushrooms, and BBQ sauce($ 3.59), and a regular size order of Cajun fries($ 2.59). The burger was nicely cooked, and tasted fresh. The bun is basically Wonder Bread. A regular size order of fries is too much for one person to eat. As before, I threw half of them away. I didn’t care for the Cajun flavoring. My discerning palate detected 10% salt, 10% garlic powder, 5% cayenne, and 75% stale paprika, which they must buy by the truckload. To sum up, the burgers are passable, the fries meh. Didn’t try the hot dogs.
