Awesome food! Love Taco Tuesday. A little smoky for me, but that’s what I love about the outdoor seating. Kinda wish there were more of it, but building permits don’t allow it. Awesome draft lineup and entertaining crowd.

DJ needs to educate himself on music more instead of playing the same 15 songs over and over. Ideally when a customer asks to have a song played by a certain band a «DJ» is more often than not expected to know of and play«said» band… NOT look at customer as if they are an idiot and act as if customer is an inconvenience for asking for said band. Honestly… maybe the DJ should refrain from drinking so much while working… clearly his issue. All I ask for is common courteousy… be polite and not a drunk douche. Other than that the bar is a ten out of five! There is more than the«top ten» on everyone’s list and EVERY paying customer is looking for a pleasant experience! Thank you! Aside from DJ I had a great time!!!

I have been coming here for several years. At least once a week I eat lunch at Carey Tavern. I love their breaded tenderloin! It is hand breaded, huge, and wonderful! They also have a full menu and 3 or 4 daily specials to choose from. They have a great staff, are reasonably priced and they always give me more food than I can eat. This is a good place to eat at!

We live in the Noblesville/Westfield area so instead of driving to Broad Ripple or Mass Ave we decided to try a local bar. Big mistake:(We had really bad service and all smelled like an ashtray when we left. On a busy Friday night waiting for drinks is to be expected but not 30 minutes. They had two servers and one bartender for a full bar. After waiting for a server we went to the bar where the bartender ignored us as well. After a few drinks and no luck with another round we just decided to cash out. All three couples at out table had at least one extra drink on their tab. I had mine reluctantly removed by the server but my friend wasn’t so lucky. The server told him that his bar drinks had been added as well. Issue with that being we never got served at the bar! My friend paid for two extra drinks! To top of the wonderful service they have a crude DJ on Friday night! He plays top 40 music between the karaōke renditions of Gretchen Wilson songs! So obviously not our scene! If this place would hire a few more employees and open a window it would go a long way.

Good Chicago beef sandwich. Regular little bar. Smokers can still smoke here. Didn’t drink anything but water so not sure about their drinks.

A maybe spot to go. The pool cues need to be replaced and the waitresses need to be flagged down for everything. Other than that they tend to have entertainment around the weekends.

I understand that it is legal to smoke in bars and taverns still but opening the front door and having that smell hit me in the face. Not a fan of having to sit through a meal while smelling that. A heads up for smokers, you will probably rejoice that they still have some places to still smoke indoors where it is not to hot or cold to smoke. So for those of you that still do and would like a place to do it indoors this would be a place for you.

Your normal suburban tavern/pub. A decent place with a goo atmosphere, but hardly different from the numerous others. The addition of more games(especially the boxing/punching game is irritating, but the two pool tables are nice. Both tavern size. Darker Music loud but not blasting Segmented Brick wall painted wall, all sparse U shape bar, soothe bareback is minimized, but there are some taps and a Sam Adams sign. Traditional bar top and a brick footrest. Great bartenders that are very attentive(kudos to Tim who kicks ass) Got going after the band started moving in

Been a couple times and it’s not my favorite. Service is only decent and can be very poor when it gets busy. Gets to be really smokey after a while and has that stale smokey air smell. I usually recommend somewhere else when a friend asks about going there.

Service is poor. We waited 20 minutes without anyone coming over to our table. The waitress walked by headed to the bar after taking another table’s order with menus in her hand. We thought she would drop them off at our table but she walked on by and we had to flag her down to ask for the menus. It was probably another 10 minutes before our order was taken. Waited another 20 minutes and then flagged her down and asked if she could bring us our drinks. It has been another 10 and we are still waiting for our food. It isn’t very busy, it isn’t even half full.

Carey’s was fairly«meh» for Indianapolis night life, but for Westfield/Nobletucky it seems pretty well average. Loads of TVs and the required accompaniment of smoke, noise, and horrible music on a jukebox that’s turned up far too loud. Even on a slow Thursday night. The food was decent: I had a chicken something or another sandwich and the chicken DIDN’T taste like it came out of a bag(which was pleasantly surprising). I definitely got someone else’s leftover fries, though. That was a bit annoying. Prices were reasonable and menu had good variety. Service was friendly and — as you’d expect — flirty, but not obnoxiously so, and I’m guessing the place is mad on a Colts game night. The biggest tip, though, is either bring a megaphone for conversation OR bring someone you don’t really want to talk to. It really is just that loud.
