World’s Greatest Comics

A nice little comic book store with a friendly, engaging staff. They didn’t have what I was looking for but did their best to help me anyway.

I would give it a 4.5 however the app won’t let me. Now to the review I love this place good prices the guy who runs the place is very knowledgeable when it comes to comics if I have a question about a comic or etc he knows the answer. Very customer friendly has great back issues. I recommend this store if it wasn’t for this store I would not be reading comics now.

Great shop. From comics to back issues older than I am to higher end action figures, the shop basically has everything. Owner is an awesome guy who will hold your pull for months on end if you can’t otherwise get to the shop. He’s also pretty knowledgeable about his books, and you can always count on a decent-​sized turnout for Free Comic Book Day. Worlds greatest has been my pick since before they moved (though where the hell else am I going to go? The only other nearby comic shop is tucked away in a building over by iron pony, and comic town closed back in ’09) and I recommend it to everyone that likes comic books.
What’s more, if you’re a regular like I am, Jeff knows you on sight and almost immediately lets you know if you’ve got anything new in your pull when you visit. «Ah, Eli, We’ve got your new Transformers books» is always something I love to hear.

Great shop. On par with Laughing Ogre as the best in town. Most back issues are 25% to 50% tagged price every day. Huge selection of figures & back issues. Great prices

The best comic store in the Columbus area. Jeff is a fantastic owner and will help you out with whatever you need. Prices are great and their new store is much bigger and has greater selection. Gotta check this place out.

I stopped in here this morning after seeing the other review and realizing how close it was to me. It’s a very nice looking store and as you can imagine, there are comic books stacked to the ceiling. Well, not exactly but it seems like it. ;) They have glossy’s and b&w’s and action figures. The owner is a real nice guy and explained how to determine the prices and such. I’m not a customer or a good prospect but it was an interesting visit.

New location is larger and more amenable to browsing through the back issues bins. I come here most Wednesdays for my new comic fix. They also will do pulls for you. Friendly and helpful as well. Often to events for comic related movie openings and comic cons.
