Enclave At Albany Park

This is a great place to live. I feel safer here than I did at my other apartment complex.

I did not feel safe walking to my car. Large groups of kids/​teenagers in the parking lot. My car got broken into. Management is less then helpful. Eek! Methinks not.

Other apartments they first make you sign a year (12 months contract), but at this apartment they make you sign 14 months contract. After your contract ends, your rent will continue to climb up every year at an extremely high rate. The units that they have on display are nice to see. Once you move into your actual unit to live, then you will notice that EVERYTHING inside are very old, outdated and dirty. All the interiors get old and break down so quickly. I guess they used cheap products that’s why. All the windows get mold and rusty very quickly. The insulation on all their windows are awful. Winter time even though I have the heater turn on all the times, when I stand near the windows I can still feel the cold air coming in. My electric bills during winter months are outrageously high. All the hallways and stairways have very bad foul smell. Very poor maintenance and management. The workout room is so small with very little equipment. There is no club house/​amenities. You can still hear noises from the people who live above your unit or next to your unit. During the winter months when there’s a lot of snow on the ground, they take forever to have all the parking lots and driveways plowed. I notice lots of people move in and out so regularly due to bed bugs and other nasty insects infestations. This is definitely the WORST apartment to live in! Most people I talked to all hated and regretted it very much once they moved in. They just have to wait for their contract to end so they can move out ASAP!
