Necessities For Needlework

This is a tiny, charming yarn and needlework shop. It’s cramped, but I think that adds to the charm. The selection of yarns is excellent, in all weights and fibers. Many needles, notions, books, and magazines are available too. But the real gem of the store is the owner… she is so sweet and accommodating and genuinely happy to help you with whatever you need when you come in. She and the other employees are always friendly… even to children, who are generally not welcome in other yarn shops. Altogether always a pleasant experience, I’d rather spend an afternoon digging through the treasures here and absorbing the positive energy than anywhere else. A refreshing breath of sincerity in an area where yarn shops often have an air of snobbery. Highly recommend.

An amazing selection of knitting, crochet and needlework supplies. For me, the best part was the store manager who helped me with a knitting problem I had. Fantastic variety of yarns and patterns. Lots of lovely sample projects on display too – so I could really see what I was getting.
