Glad to see they threw in the towel and closed this place. We stay at The Cove every year and the linear decline was evident. A vacant restaurant(last year) in a fully booked hotel is a bad sign, right? Hoping the new occupants are able to make it work once the location re-opens!

We were staying at the Cove at Yarmouth and were given a coupon to go there so we checked it out to break up the seafood binge we were on. I had heard that the chefs were featured on the Food Network with Bobby Flay and was also written up as a great bar in West Yarmouth. We arrived to a ghost town. Not sure if it was an off night, but the Sox were on and there was hardly more than 10 people in the place. The food was good, but nothing special. The service was great, but I feel that for all the hype I heard, read, and saw that was advertised failed to meet my initial expectation. If not for the coupon, I probably would not have gone.

We stopped in for a quick dinner while we were staying at The Cove(resort where restaurant is located) and the restaurant was empty-never a good sign on a Friday night. We had mozz sticks app and for dinner my BF had fish & chips and I had the french dip. We were not impressed. It wasn’t awful but it wasn’t great. The service was terrible. I asked for a recommendation and the waitress said«you’ll have to look through the menu, it’s big». Yea, thank you sweetie. I figured that out already that’s why I asked for a recommendation! The tables and décor were old and dirty and my pint glass was cracked. I wouldn’t go back.
