I’ve been a customer with Sprint for 12 years. After my experience with them today I will be looking elsewhere for a wireless carrier. After hanging around in the store for 30 minutes trying to get someone to purchase a phone from I gentlemen finally approached me. We spoke for 30 more minutes finalizing the details of a single phone line addition to my current plan. I was ready to purchase and had pulled out my CC ready to buy when the«experienced» salesman walked over to the terminal that we were looking at and said«You can’t make that deal!» «You have to do the financing.» All throughout the process I was asked and«recommended» to do the financing for the phone. I explained to both of them that I didn’t want to do it and would be paying for their phone with the 2 year contract. This went one for another 30 minutes as I tried to understand how doing their financing would be cheaper/better deal as they put it. I guess they don’t like long time customers who don’t want to do their financing and would rather pay for the phone up front. When I asked the salesman how the financing would be cheaper and if he could write it down on paper so that I could understand he refused and started browsing on his phone. I wont be back.

I am typing this as I am waiting. I have been waiting over an hour for service. There are about five representatives in here .and I understand that two of them are IT and training. but the other three clearly see that there are about five other customers in here. Let me just also make note that it is also 30 minutes before closing time and they still are not trying to speed things along. Two of the reps have been assisting a customer for the past 50 minutes and the other rep has been with his for about 40 minutes. I really do understand that their job entitles them to try and upgrade/sell products in conjuction with activation of phones… but what I DONT understand is how they can all be so oblivious to the fact there are literally five other customers waiting and it’s 30 minutes before closing! I think that they should definitely be more considerate of people’s time and try to speed things along. I mean the least they could’ve done was apologize for the long wait but none of the reps acknowledged us besides the nice girl in training that checked us in. So long story short, I do not recommend this Sprint to anyone because they lack customer service and consideration for other people’s time. UPDATE: They just asked us and the customers who have been waiting as long as I have to come back tomorrow. HORRIBLESERVICE. Never again.

I’m a long time Sprint customer(2008). I’ve been to several Sprint stores and I have to say this location is by far the best. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and will bend over backwards to help you. I live about 20 miles from this Sprint store, but it’s always worth the drive.

I have been having problems with my cell phone and I use to take it to Murray or Sugarhouse. However, Murray is a little far and the manager«Colin» what a piece of work. I think that he should get a job where he doesn’t have to deal with the public. Basically, he is very rude and talks down to the customers. So speaking with Sprint help line, they suggested the West Valley Store. What the heck, not that far. As soon as I walked in greeted by an associate and asked what can he help me with. Told him that I need to have my phone checked out, he said that he would have a technician talk with me. The technician came and introduce himself, his name is Raymond. Told him the problem that I was having with the phone and Sprint Support said that I should come over and have you all check it out. He said that he would have to run a couple of test to see what the problem is, so it was going to take a few minutes. He asked if everything was backed up to the SD card. I told him that everything was backed up to my SD and to my Google account. He came back a few minutes later and advised me that they would have to replace the phone. So my normal reaction was ok. so order and just let me know when it get’s in. He stated that they were going to replace there at the store and it would take about 20 minutes to get everything taken care of .wow. That is a first for sprint. About 15 minutes later he came over and said that everything was almost ready to go, just need to do a few things more. I will say this much, Raymond has really impressed me with his knowledge and customer service. I am sold on the West Valley Store, Not only Raymond but the staff overall is great, but Raymond took the award for awesome customer service. Give the West Valley Sprint Store a try… it will change your impression of Sprint…
