My experience was and still is awesome at the Cracker Barrel. Everyone working there are very sweet and helpful. They make me feel like a friend rather than a customer. The food there; I had the meatloaf, chicken dumpling, and coconut cream dessert, are all delicious– best American comfort food I had. I’ve gone to them 3 times in one week last week. I think I’m going again tonight for their St. Patrick’s day special of corn beef and cabbage. I

Food seriously lacks here — poorly prepped and flavorless. The Grilled Rainbow Trout I had here recently was sooo bad. How do you make trout bland? Somehow they accomplished it. Sides are miserable too, portions are smallish. Considering how bad the food is, it amazes me how busy this place gets on weekends. This is nothing like the tasty home cookin’ I’m used to. And the phony down-home décor throughout makes me cringe. Skip it.

I always enjoy Cracker Barrel. It just sucks there’s none in Las Vegas but I hear there’s talk of one being put inside the Silverton Hotel/Casino. Anyways, the atmosphere was down south and same with the food. Good old fashioned down south food. But the only complaint is their portions have shrunk. I left still hungry. But I really liked the roast beef and my wife really liked the chicken and dumplings. The service was fast and great.

There are no vegetarian options and the waiters are horrible and always mess up and always seem confused. I have been there three times and each time it sucks.

We were a party of 8 Sunday morning at 10 we had 2 servers 4 of us got our meals cold 16 minutes later the other 4 received their s cold had to ask many times for hot sauce coffee ect. we started taking bets on what we would get frist. waitress and management kept giving us a lot of reason why service was so bad .none made any sense and the thick cut bacon was thin .we won’t be back. Wish I would have read reviews frist all the bad happen to us also .one question why are they still open?

We’ve been Cracker Barrel regulars since they opened in WVC. Sadly over the last two years the food quality has become very inconsistent — one day the pancakes are absolute buttery perfection, the next time soggy and grainy. Sometimes food is piping hot, sometimes barely warm. Good service has become nearly extinct. You get the bill as they serve your food then you never see your server again. If you need something or something is missing from your order, good luck getting it. Even if you can catch another server to make your request, chances are it will go unfulfilled. The store is their saving grace — fun to shop, unique items and good prices — especially sale prices.

Have always loved this place. Took son for breakfast and couldn’t finish meal after 2. of the 3 found hair in food. Pretty upset that wife still was charged for her meal with this happening. Won’t be going back anytime soon.

When you work with a Southern Boy, you better believe that Cracker Barrel gets worked into the lunch rotation. When you hear«CB with the KB!» you have to accept the invitation. Sure this roadside chain restaurant and gift store is a bit cheesball, but they have Southern Style comfort food dialed in. The meatloaf and mac-n-cheese are really really good here and always consistent. The chicken fried steak is also a winner. Favorite sides also include turnip greens with smokey meaty pork chunks. Make sure to ask for some Pistol Pete’s Pepper vinegar to spice it up. The fried okra is awesome too. Everybody has a favorite here. KB’s latest invention was«Meatloaf Mac-n-cheese sliders» which he crafted himself from the free biscuits you get. Thumbs up! Don’t forget to end your meal with some Coca-cola cake and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. So good. You will be so full of food by the time you leave you may just need to be wheel-barreled out to a rocking chair out front on the porch. If you are not food-camatose…stop by the gift shop. You will find some great old-fashioned confections and various toys and such that make great gifts.

Nothing about my experience was good. We showed up(6 of us) at 530 on a Saturday. The wait was 35 minutes. Seemed excessive, but we had some time to kill. We were eventually seated by a super awkward host who made sure to point out the table had been cleaned. Are they normally not clean? Maybe 10 minutes later, our server came and said she’d be with us in a minute. About 5 minutes later, she came back ready to take our order(which was fine, we were ready). We ordered our food, and maybe 15 minutes later she brought our drinks, saying they didn’t have any clean glass ware. I know it is busy and Saturday night, but we’re they that unprepared? A few minutes later, a different servers brought out a few plates of food, but was confused as to who’s they were. She also brought out a tray full of very burnt biscuits. The original server came out and commented on how she wouldn’t have even brought the tray out. Fair point, but not what you say in front of the table. Everyone had their meal brought out over the next few minutes. Well, everyone except me. They forgot my entire meal, plus 2 of the other people’s sides. How does that happen? We hurriedly ate our food because we had tickets to the hockey game across the strert, and we thought we had plenty of time(we did not). The food tasted like, for lack of a better term, nothing. It was very bland and flavorless. My meal(roast beef) was so smothered in gravy I couldn’t taste anything but the gravy. Same goes for the mashed potatoes. Overall, I had low expectations going in, and even they were not met. Do yourself a favor and spend your money just about anywhere else.

The Restaurant was clean, and functional, well decorated. You said that and that is it. The wait staff made you wait on everything. We asked for coffee was poured coffee and had to ask for cream. Asked for water was never refilled. The waitress was young with no personality. No interaction with her customers at all. To have a good dining experience don’t come here. Try McDonalds at least you can«Have it your Way!»

One off the worst Cracker Barrels I’ve been into. And most of it came from the service. No refills on coffee, even though we had at least six or seven waitresses with coffee pass our table yet no one stopped to fill it. Food finally showed up, luke warm, mostly due to the waitress being to slow and letting it sit in the kitchen. One itty-bitty bottle of syrup with a table spoon of butter for a large stack of pancakes. Would of asked for more but we didn’t want to spend all morning and half the afternoon waiting on our waitress. Our plates stayed on the table for 10 minutes while while at least a dozen employees walked by. Its like no one in that reasturant worked togather or helped each other out. Won’t be back for another 5 years.

The exterior of the restaurant was inviting with it’s white rocking chairs and accompanied checkerboards. The staff is very friendly and seated our party very quickly. I ordered the«country boy breakfast». That is 3 eggs, sirloin steak, grits, hashbrown casserole, biscuit, and fruit preserves. The food was brought to the table very quickly and it was plenty hot as I watched the steam rising from my plate. The food was s bit of a disappointment. Everything was very bland and the presentation left much to be desired. My wife who ordered the chicken fried chicken dinner requested the gravy on the side received her order with gravy covering everything. This was my first time at a Cracker Barrel, I would compare the food to that of a Denny’s. Overall, I will not be returning to this franchise again unless faced with no other options.

I grew up eating poor food. Bottled apples and canned beans. I can handle poor food cooked well. But. A horrible experience tonight in every respect except the service. The gravy had a skin on it. It had been sitting out for a long while. The grits also had a thick skin on them. Pancakes dry and syrup maple flavored corn syrup. Beans canned pork chopps over cooked(my brother and I both got sick from them). Apples from a bottle. Hash brown casserole was cold and slimey. Sweet tea gross and did not taste brewed. Even the water had a wierd taste to it. OH, wait. Good turkey sausage and apple cider. I am not a food snob. I am a human garbage disposal, but I will never return. I would eat fast food over this slop. Everything tasted like it had been sitting under a hot lamp. I wish I could have gotten a look into the kitchen before I ate. I implore you to visit one of the five other restaurants in the area instead.

I love coming here for brunch! They have a lot on their menu and also have separate breakfast and lunch menus so it can be hard to decide what to get! It’s usually always packed on the weekends. Last time I came here I got the country fried steak from their breakfast menu. The hash brown casserole side they serve is really tastey!

Half country store and half restaurant is the model of this close to the freeway chain business. There’s typically a wait on the weekends if you’re looking to have breakfast or lunch, but it goes by pretty quickly while doing some browsing in the store section. They have a lot of interesting knicknacks to purchase as gifts, and a wide variety of candies. For food, I had the Chicken Fried Chicken which did a great job at satisfying my comfort food cravings. Their side options are almost overwhelming for someone as indecisive as I am, but awesome for those who like variety.

Used to love this place but the management, cooking and service has gone down hill. On our last recent visit we ended up leaving. It wasn’t that busy. We were seated, no one brought us any water. We sat for over 30 minutes. The next people brought in were seated, given water and their order taken. We just got up and left. Decided it was the universe telling us to take our business where you are treated as a valued customer. We ended up going around the corner to Green Papaya and had the most AMAZING Banh mi steak sandwich. Going to do a review on that next. Sorry Cracker Barrel you need to get back to where you used to be.

It’s more nostalgia than great food. It’s a chain in every sense of the word but it’s a nice place for grandma. The fried apples and the French toast are pretty good. The knick-knacks are great for hours of perusing even though most of them are seriously over priced. Overall it’s meh.

I got the Cracker Barrel Country Boy breakfast. The pork chops were super dry for me, but everything else is fine. I love their rockin chairs and oversized checkerboard tables they have throughout the restaurant and outside. If you have never been here before they also have a store within the restaurant that has a variety of things you can purchase. Perfect one stop shop if you’re looking for breakfast !

Having been coming here for many years finally remembered to Unilocal it. One of my favorite things here is Momma’s French Toast Breakfast. They use sourdough bread and decent tasting maple syrup which is made up of ½ cane sugar and ½ maple syrup. Comes with 2 eggs and bacon or sausage. Their chicken n rice special wasn’t that great. The chicken was lukewarm, and the gravy didn’t have much flavor. Service was lacking, we kept on having to ask other servers to help us since ours rarely came to check on us.
