As far as the actual solar panels and installation work, I would give 4 stars. One star missing because they didn’t have the best communication when they were coming and leaving. The electric work was pretty good considering our house is old, complicated and previous electrical work was done wrong. So their electricians did a great job. The actual planning and buying process would be zero stars. Our salesman, Lance gave us horrible information and failed to mention we would be paying our power bill for a year until enough credits were generated to offset power needs during winter and dark days. They offered to make it right by paying our power bill with $ 125 which didn’t even cover two billing cycles. He was clearly trying to make a sale and not concerned about being truthful and forthcoming. The other problem was that they needed to have Rocky Mountain power approve a move of our box. What should have taken a few weeks went on for months and they had us try and negotiate the move instead of handling it like they should have. We were playing phone tag for weeks trying to get either Rocky Mtn to approve the move or Auric to verify it was doable. The installation didn’t happen for four months as they just sat on pending permits and didn’t multi task with other plans that could have been done while waiting for permits to be approved. And they wanted to do the install when I was 3 days postpartum from a C section with a baby in the NICU. They also forgot to tell Rocky Mtn not to turn off our power so my husband went home to take care of our 2 year old while I was in the hospital with the new baby and there was no power. Yay. The other issue I have is that after hearing from other family getting solar, there are cheaper options than Auric. All in all, I would not recommend them to anyone. Solar power is best for the environment and financially the right choice. But go with someone else. Update: Auric’s install guys also installed our panels incorrectly leading to a water leak on the roof and drywall damage in our ceiling and walls that just showed up a few weeks ago. Their contracted guy then called my husband a liar and blamed us for their crappy work. Right… Because we caused a roof leak… Thanks, Auric! One more fantastic experience with your company.

These guys are a great company. Down to earth no pressure sales people, great product and great installers. My company Griffin Energy Audits is currently looking into having a solar powered office.

Auric solar is a great company to work with. When I initially signed up, I was given some pretty bad information that really made upset. There was not much I could do seeing is how I already signed up for the panels. Frustrated, I gave my feedback and it was not good. Auric took the time to call me back and address all the issues I dealt had with. They we’re polite and went above my expectations to make it right. Solar is a great investment and, Auric is a great company to go with.
