A two-night stay to celebrate our anniversary was a great retreat! Very relaxed atmosphere — Murphin Ridge is a surprising resort in the middle of nowhere. There are some antiques barns and off-the-beaten-path Amish shopping. I suggest the Woods Cabin. The digs were excellent, and if you are able to swing the price, you won’t be disappointed. The owners are around and interact with guests. They’ve been running the Inn for years, and have fun-loving personalities. The food is very good — visit, if only just for dinner — a lot of the raw food is brought in from Cincinnati. I’d have to say that I was a little disappointed with the coffee.(From my coffee-nerdiness, it seems that the brewing method could use some improvement.) Four Stars! We’ll be back!
