Planet Fitness – West Seneca

I will support this gym always. They know me here and are the nicest people. Nothing pretentious and your experience here is independent, it’s exactly what you make of it. That might not be right for everyone though.
It’s clean. I mean clean. That’s super important to me in a gym AND they have showers – which are clean too.
10/​mo. for basic or 20 to include tanning, massage chair, bring a friend, and other perks.
My only big request: rowing machines. I wish there were some. The cable machine one isn’t the same.

Friendly staff, clean gym but since the weather has changed, I’m doing my running outside now so I went in today to cancel my membership. No hassles, no up-​sell, done in 5 minutes. I’ll be back in the fall.

Planet Fitness is my gym. My boyfriend and I got a membership back when we lived near there in Lackawanna for a short time. Now I live in downtown Buffalo and it is a bit of a drive, but I do not mind it for a number of reasons. First of all, I feel that the gym is clean. I feel comfortable working out there by myself. The staff is friendly usually, and I love the services. They have tanning beds, massage chairs, and water bottles to purchase if you forget yours (which I have done).

It may be one of the cheapest gyms out there but there is a reason for this. Only 6 television channels to choose from, of which half are sports. Customer service is not even a word in their vocabulary. None of the employees are friendly or even acknowledge you – in fact they are straight up rude! I was given inconsistent information about the cancellation policy, resulting in getting charged for additional months when I would not even be able to use the gym. Asked the manager for assistance in regard to the information that I was given by his employee and was snubbed. The website doesn’t even have a way to contact corporate to deal with complaints. Moral of the story: if you have a problem or complaint your screwed. The staff doesn’t care and there is no way to contact anyone above them.
