Great Clips

Went in yesterday for a trim. Got Furhan and he did a good job. Listened to what j wanted and cut some, checked to make sure it was right. Will definitely go back to him. Funny thing is you get used to someone at these places and they move on sooner than later. Went there once and the girl that did my hair was awful so had not been back in over a year.

MELISSA! Where did you go???
The one star is required to write a review, but I give 5 stars to Melissa, who I heard is no longer working here. I’m super bummed, because she is seriously the only one who has cut my son’s hair perfect. When she wasn’t available, I would give someone else the benefit of a doubt and they would always mess up! No joke, if Melissa was working, and my son had someone else, she would fix it! I’m no hairstylist, but if you’re licensed, and this is your area of expertise, wouldn’t you be able to make a straight line or make both sides of someone’s hair even? My son stays still and does not move, so that is no excuse. My son is in need of a haircut, but I won’t be returning here. Especially with Christmas around the corner, I cannot and will not take a risk with someone screwing up his hair again.

The best! I went in a little skeptical because not really knowing someone’s skills to cut hair is a little nerv racking. Well thank you Wendy! Everything came out perfect and the environment was awesome. Everyone was so nice and just over-​all great environment. I’ll be back as soon as I need another hair cut

I use to go to the Fairway store in Roseville until Wendy got moved to the West Sac store, so we travel there now, because my son has course thick hair and she does and excellent job thinning his hair on top so he doesn’t have that mushroom head look… I tried other stylist in the area but she is the BEST!!! Maybe I can complain to corporate to get her re-​assigned back to Roseville…

Went in for a simple bald fade haircut and left with a bald spot and an uneven fade. Two people (one was the manager) had to take turns cutting my hair in attempts to «repair» the damage. Throughout my haircut, I asked repeatedly if there was a problem because they would intermittently stop and begin to whisper to each other. Finally, the manager told me that they were having trouble cutting my hair due to my «parietal bone being so prominent.» Regardless of my head shape, a professional should not have so much trouble cutting hair and definitely should never put the blame on the customer for having an apparently unnaturally shaped head. Although I was compensated for the poorly done haircut, I will not be returning for another haircut.

I love coming here! Samia does the absolute best haircuts, and as long as she is here I will continue to come back. Prices are fair, wait times are short, and the service is excellent. Thanks Samia!

Alright in my book!
So yesterday I walked in there because I was in pretty bad need of a cut. I’ve always liked Great Clips ever since I lived in San Diego, but I have actually not been a regular to them in the Sacramento area. I found out however, that Great Clips was having a sale on haircuts for about a week, so I figured what the heck! They did a pretty good job at this location. The girl that cut my hair seemed really genuine, and gave a vibe of really enjoying her job. I actually can’t remember what their normal price is for cuts, but I know the sale going on right now is a great deal. I’ve got the funniest shaped head, so I know if they did a good job, then they’re good to go.
There’s a good amount of parking at this location. I like it because it’s in the Industrial area of Sacramento. I’m not the kind of person that likes being in ridiculous crowds, so this worked for me vs. their location in Natomas. I guess it’s not so much the crowds, but the traffic that gets me about the busier areas like Natomas. And lets face it, people in the Sacramento area are not very good drivers, so I like to stay away from being around busy areas anywhere in Sacramento if possible haha! Now going back to their location, yes. I love their location. It’s in a nice developing area of what is considered West Sac.
The other thing I do like about Great Clips in general is, that they do have their own training facility off Northgate. And it gives me some peace of mind that their workers are trained locally before they work in their shops. All in all, I’d say I was pretty pleased with the experience.

Great staff! Laura always takes great care of me when I come in. I leave looking as good as possible for me =) and they are priced fair. 3 or 4 people have cut my hair here and they are never rush on your cut. Would recommend this place to anyone. Quick tip, get the AP for your phone. You can check in online. It will tell you if there is a wait, and what time to show up. Two thumbs up

Fantastic and caring staff. They do great work and actually look forward to going back. I used to assume cheap prices meant bad hair cuts, but this Great Clips changed my view on that. If you live in West Sac and need a place to quickly cut your hair and do it well, look no further.
