Party City

Thanks so much for helping me with balloons and other party supplies at the last minute! My family did not expect my Dad to be in the VA hospital for his 70^th bday. You guys bent over backwards to make it happen for a mini party and we really appreciate it!

Excellent costume selection for Halloween. Wait until after Halloween and you will get a great deal.
They also have an excellent balloon selections of supplies for birthday parties.
The staff is a bit flaky

I hate the parking at this place and that’s about all. I like the tore selection and layout, this store is never messy and usually has friendly and helpful staff. The parking here is brutal though!!! It takes a while to leave to much sure route 1 traffic is cleared. (they should have a traffic light!!!)

I went here today because they are the only place in town to get a megaphone in person from a human being. No hyperbole. I even tried Walmart. I even called district E5 to see where they get their megaphones. The internet seemed to be my only hope, but instant gratification was a factor. After about 15 phone calls, and the 2^nd recommendation to call a party store, even though I felt it was a long shot, iparty West Roxbury came through. I go, big cheesy smile, and bring my purchase up to the register. I don’t get paid til Thursday, so the boyfriend offers to pay for my frivolity. Fantastic. He, however, is en route to St. Louis, and all I have is his credit card information and his good graces. This does not fly with the folks at the store. I know, it may seem suspicious, but I’m legit, and barring being some kind of identity thief hacker person, what could I possibly have been up to? And, if I was a hacker, wouldn’t I just complete my ($ 35) transaction on the web? There was no reasoning with them, and they seemed all too glad to snatch away my dreams. On my way out, they asked me if I wanted them to hold the item for me, because apparently they’re flying off the shelves (sarcasm). One man even snidely remarked that between the three of us (I was with my sister and friend) we couldn’t come up with the money. I’m glad to see they’re more interested in making their jobs obsolete by telling me to fuck off and use amazon. duly noted. #firstworldproblems

I almost always stop in here before a party for tablecloths, napkins & plates, but I find that if you aren’t throwing a kid’s party or buying balloons, that it isn’t the best place for all your party needs.
