There is so much variety at this farmers market. If it’s your first time going, I suggest you take a quick stroll through all the vendors before deciding what to get. The bf made the mistake of getting coffee at the first stand we came across and immediately regretted it after seeing other coffee stands that offered higher quality products. We didn’t make the same mistake again. After roaming around, I got a trio of sliders from a catering company(forget the name) with beef, crab, and mushroom, all delicious. We also tried the apple cider donuts which were light and fluffy. The market has covered tables set up so you can enjoy your food near the intracostal, while some stands offer separate areas to lounge in(i.e. the Oasis with unlimited mimosas for $ 10). I’d say that it has a more upscale feel, as evidenced by the prices, and is more focused on local food vendors. There’s maybe only two or three stands with fresh produce and plants/flowers, so if that’s what you’re looking for this isn’t the place for you. Overall, this is a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon getting some grub while enjoying the Florida sun.

Interesting place to walk around and pick up a few things, but please, GETRIDOFTHEDOGS! So tired of dodging dogs and seeing them by food stands. There are plenty of other places to walk dogs. Keep them out of the market.

The Green Market is definitely a fun experience. It’s all that you would expect from a green market– organic food, fresh produce, coffee, etc. However, there are some downsides: *Smelly cyclists– if you think going on a bike ride and coming to the green market before you have showered is a good idea, think again. Nobody, I REPEAT, NOBODY wants to smell you. It’s disgusting. You’re dripping sweat and you are touching fresh produce. GOHOME and take a shower, then come back. *Dogs everywhere– I think it’s great you bring your dog with you to places, but sometimes it’s just annoying to constantly be avoiding your teacup yapping dog. I just feel there are more appropriate places to walk your dog. I disagree with having animals(Some very large dogs) around areas where people are eating and waking around. It’s just not the venue for dogs! Overall this Green Market is a nice spot to come on Saturday morning but just make sure you can handle the downsides!

The. Best. Great alternative to touristy t-shirt shops. We wandered around, fresh coconuts in hand, and sampled an array of warm donuts, fresh pour over coffee and hot empanadas. We purchased locally made goods — jams, beauty products, spices, pastas and oils — for family and friends at home and enjoyed the people and puppy watching. The only mistake we made was going to the market at the end of our vacation and not at the beginning! Admittedly, we weren’t on the lookout for traditional farmers market fare(fresh vegetables and fruits), though did note a few vendors. We’ll be back again…

I love this green market and try to visit every time I’m in town. It’s just beautiful on the water and even on the hottest day there is usually a nice breeze. The vendors are excellent and there a tons of samples to snack on while you meander through the market. My favorite vendor is the Pickle Peddler — her pickles are«sweet, with a little heat.» I always stock up or have my mom bring some with her when she comes to visit me. There’s usually music, families, dogs. It’s just a lovely little market.

I loved this Green Market! I didn’t even know about it and was just passing through when we stumbled upon it. Luckily, we decided to stop and stroll through. Unfortunately, we weren’t going straight home so I couldn’t get perishables. However, I still grabbed some coffee from Rabbit Roasting. I stopped by Farris Farm and was extremely impressed and drooling over their Florida raised meats, poultry, etc. These guys know their stuff! It might be more expensive, but you are supporting Florida farmers. Plus, they have a color coded system to show which items are«natural» and which items are GMO free(they choose GMO free seed). Their selection was unbeatable for South Florida. There were some lovely plant salesmen. There was fresh fish! We bought a colorful medium sized Bromelaid for $ 3!!! The talented Karen House was playing some covers with a clear crisp voice and a smile on her face. It doesn’t compare to the Austin farmer’s market scene with their restriction that only local farmers can attend(i.e. no middlemen). However, compared to what we have down here(which usually ends up being some kind of flea market), I was genuinely impressed. I wish it was closer to me.

What a fun little Saturday morning market! I found the offerings and stores a little bit more upscale than the typical market fare I’m used to – think high quality balsamic vinegar, a Maryland crab station, a cheese cutting place and an awesome selection of coffees! This market is located at the end of Clematis. If you’re looking for fresh local produce, this is a great spot to find it. There are lots of vegetables, yummy fruits and even local coffee from Havana. Yes, the legendary Havana! The market is pretty expansive and covers two or so blocks. Lots of vendors will let you sample their foods, so don’t be afraid to try something new!

This weekend was my first trip to the Green Market that also appears with the Flea Market. All in all my brood and I had a great trip. Wins: J&J Seafood rocked the Kazbah. Fresh local Mahi for $ 11 a pound — so good. Mom’s Pops are the best Popsicle I have ever had. The kids also loved all the dogs running around as well as the sand sculpture contest. The only negative was finding an ATM for cash and some of thelunch fare options. Come early, like right after breakfast.

Wake up on a beautiful Saturday morning and take a ride to the West Palm Beach Green Market. Definitely one of the best green markets in Palm Beach County. You can even take your dog there. And they have EVERYTHING from vegetables to candy to plants to chiropractic treatments. My favorites are Ziggy’s Cheese Shop, Apple Cider donuts, The gourmet bread stands and the organic vendors. Great Saturday outing!

Agree that it is a nice venue to wander through; there are many food options. We have enjoyed the spice combinations available, marinades, etc. However, other than the occasional hothouse tomato, the fresh vegetables are nothing more than you’ll find at Walmart! Very little«farm-to-face here though compared to what I’ve experienced in New Hampshire, NJ, Oregon, and California. The pictures above tell the tale: donuts, cookies, the ubiquitous kettle corn, and barbecue are the typical crowd favs.

Beautiful venue, at the end of Clematis Street, near the water. Varied selection of items to choose from. Dogs are allowed to be at the market with their owners. My favorites are the baked goods, honey, fresh lemonade, and farmhouse tomatoes. Wish the market was opened year-round…

The market is cool and diverse but half of the prodice in flown in from California!!! This is a complete shame and is taking advantage of the local food scene and consumers who want to support local. Do not support this market!

Wonderful market. Nice fruit selection, clean atmosphere and great people. On top of that, the green market here has awesome red velvet and apple cider doughnuts.

We love this market because of the large variety of products, not just«greens.» There are many prepared food kiosks so you can have lunch or buy something to bring home. Fresh produce and«homemade items» are abundant. There is something for everyone!

This isn’t the largest market I’ve ever been to, but it is fantastic. A little bit of everything from fruits/veggies to treats for pets. I love the prepared food booths, where I’ve seen everything from little donuts to jerk chicken. They never seem to be overly crowded, and a couple of city parking garages offer free parking during the market. A nice way to spend a Saturday morning.

The Green Market is fantastic. it only operates at certain times of the year, but the quality of breads, cheeses, meats, desserts, spices and more is like nowhere else. I love how friendly the vendors are and even how it smells there. It’s an awesome place.

Nice Farmers market with a great view! This market has a lot to offer! from Sicilian Sausages, Apple Cider Doughnuts, BBQ, fresh veggies & fruits, herbs, breads, pastas and many more! Lots of families with their babies and kids playing around the park, and much senior people. Furry friends are allowed, so you can take your pooch for an outing! The market is open from October to May every Saturday! Although it has ended for this season, check out their website to look for them next time!
