The Credit Union of Palm Beach County

Once upon a time, The Credit Union of Palm Beach County was a nice place to do business. That’s not true now. Today, my son and I were inside the credit union. The line was long. The receptionist remarked to another employee that «no one needs their money on July 4^th, you can do stuff for free. Everyone is waiting for no reason.» Really? Speaking of the receptionist, she cut in front of my son to open a nearby door and said to him, «You have to move.» Not excuse me, pardon me. What happened to the inside tellers? The last time I was in there, a young women was trying to sign loan papers. She was curtly informed that the credit union would be closed before the signing was done and that she should come back another day. Huh? The young woman replied that she came from work and couldn’t leave any earlier than she had. My daughter had trouble accessing her online account. She made several visits to the credit union to fix this, to no avail. She changed to Fairwinds Credit Union as she attends UCF and now spends more time in Orlando than Palm Beach County. The only thing that keeps my family here is that the services are much less expensive than banks. The Credit Union used to provide good customer service but that just isn’t true these days!

I have been with this credit union for about 7 – 8 years now! I enjoy using the credit union however their customer service SUCKS! Especially at the front desk and via email! OMG! I’ve never really had an issue once I sat down with somebody! Now I am currently sitting in their satellite branch in PBG off of military trail and I’m working on an issue that I initiated yesterday that these people have no sense of urgency… Don’t respond to messages and it’s frustrating! I’ve tried to call the branch here in PBG too and their automated system is incorrect so you get the run around! UGH!!!
