This is a hole the wall in north wood, but they have great drink specials and everyone is nice and welcoming. There’s also a patio outside for ping pong, cornhole and ring toss! The food is also pretty good.

The food is good and the service is as well. The drinks are also reasonably priced and there are a ton of tvs if you want to watch the game. However, every time we go here there is always a problem. Security has been called on more than one occasion while dining. Overly drunk guests are also a common at this bar. Today I went and another guest was so rude I had to leave the restaurant entirely. I will not return and I have been going to this bar for a few years now. I am just over the lackluster people they seem to attract and the terrible atmosphere that cultivates. I have never had this problem at the Greek place next door.

I give this place three stars because it does what it set up to do. Some here criticized the food or service… guys, it’s a pub/​bar, so it’s not exactly the place to expect white linen and great food.
You come here to chill, have a cold one, some finger food and watch sport probably. It’s not a fancy bar, it’s more of a dive.
It’s an okay place if you set your expectations right.

I ordered a Buffalo Chicken Salad. It was a flat plate heaped with large pieces of mostly iceberg lettuce. The chicken was tough and over cooked. The accompanying blue cheese dressing was watery and served in a tiny plastic condiment cup.
The Diet Coke tasted like straight carbonated water. The water was the only good thing served.
The music is much louder than it used to be. I took two bites and they were two too many. The bartender acknowledged that I ate almost nothing but didn’t ask if I’d like something else or offer a solution. I reluctantly tipped her 20% and walked next door to the Greek Restaurant. I’ve lived in Northwood for 19 years and try to support our businesses. I won’t be back to The Sports Page. It doesn’t measure up to the quality of the other restaurants in the area.

Tried this place for a quick dinner while staying overnight for business at a hotel nearby. All of the patrons seemed to be local residences who knew the bartender, who was also the waiter. He was very nice and attentive. The soup of the day was chicken something and was extremely salty. The chicken wings were dry even with the med sauce. $ 20 tab was not bad but I will not go back.

Looks like a neighborhood bar, but the food will surprise you. Typical pub food (burgers, chicken fingers, wings) complimented by more creative foods like the Mahi Reuben, which I highly recommend. Karaōke started at 9pm on Saturday, which immediately drove us out. Buffalo Cicken wrap was also good. Very sweet service.

They have reasonable drink specials (2 for 1 all day). Lots of TVs to watch games on and, a couple of very cool bartenders.
The clientele is a bit creepy at times, but harmless from what I can tell.
The food is hit or miss. The last few times have been such large misses that I won’t eat there anymore. Have a couple of drinks then grab some falafel from the place next door, or head over to the Sunset Grill for dinner.

This is truly my hangout spot where me. & my fellow Gemini bud cheat & eat wings & have two for one drinks. I absolutely love their garlic wings but my hubby forbids me to eat them unless he is out of town b/​c the garlic is so potent it comes out of your pores. But they are delish. & their fries are always cooked well done the way I love them

Nice place but seriously, why has it got so expensive. I ordered a due south caramel cream ale and it cost $ 6.75 for a 16oz glass. That is ridiculous. I know the old owners had it way too cheap but this price jump is crazy. Not a lot of people gonna go there if it stays this expensive. One star for the nice bartender and one star for new bar.

If you’re in the mood for a no nonsense sandwich, this is place for you! The prime rib sandwich is served at room temperature so there’s no chance to burn your mouth. And you don’t have to worry about filling up too quickly because they dont mess with the things you’d expect on a sandwich, like lettuce, tomatoes, or anything at all! This meat and bread combo only costs $ 10 AND comes with slightly cool fries!
Don’t bother eating here unless you’re already drunk.

Had a great night playing poker, having some food and fun with friends. The «Snow Bar» is awesome, and so is the courtyard! Give it a try when you are in the mood for an ice cold beer and a good time!

Food is good but service is too slow for lunch. Twice I have been to an empty dining room, ordered the special and waited over 30 minutes. Another note about the service is both times I paid cash I didn’t receive the correct change for all coins were omitted. I find this to be rude.
I really hope management and ownership make improvements to the front of the house before they are forced to go under.

Sports bar lives up to its billing. TV’s everywhere! Didnt have high hopes on the food as we were interested in having a beer and catching the game. Eventually got around to eating and ordered the turkey club. WOW! Absolutely one of the best club sandwiches I’ve ever had — at a sports bar to boot! I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.
