I came here just to look around and see the new gym. I’m completely impressed with the staff on not «hounding» me to join join join now now now, like most gyms I walk into and ask to look around.
Because of that atmosphere along with the fact that the bathrooms were CLEAN, I started off quite happy just looking around.
If you are someone who wants gym to go to, without kids running around (some people I work with can’t stand the kind of gyms that have day care /​baby sitting sections believe it or not. I guess they don’t like worrying about little toddlers running head first into plates and racks? Maybe it makes them nervous? Who knows…)
The floors were clean. Yes! EVEN the OCD on cleanliness in me was happy to see that there was absolutely no dust bunnies under the leg press or the dumb bells or treadmills.
so overall, I’d be very happy bringing anyone I’m working with here.

I found this gym on Unilocal.I was looking for a new gym close enough to where I could fit it in my schedule to be able to go. I have to be honest I was very pleasantly surprised to walk in to a gym with all the equipment that I like to use, one that was very clean, it didn’t smell and the staff was very nice. I was given a three day pass which I used. I got a thank you email for my visit and I went over today and was greeted by the owner. Very nice person. He did not try to sell me on anything. He answered all my questions. I have been a member of two gyms that are well known and have many locations. They all, for the most part, have old equipment, have a horrid smell and let anyone in. If you are looking for a gym that is clean, that has nice variety of equipment and a very nice staff this is the place. To top it off it’s month to month no contract and only 20.00 each month. You can’t go wrong here. It’s not overrun with kids and has a nice atmosphere. To me that’s important since I am 47 and when I go to the gym it’s my time to zone out. I love this place and I am not easily impressed. Awesome!!!

GREAT GYM!!! Very clean and well staffed. Not your typical meat head gym in south Florida all types of levels of experience and no EGO’S which makes for a pleasant workout. Recommended for the first timer staff is willing and ready to help.

Really great place to work out, staff us helpful and motivating no meat head allowed. Owners trainers and front end staff help with workouts, diets and even will throw a train in if they see a struggle. Rock fitness equipment is immaculate and maintained daily by the staff with disinfectant to ensure the highest cleanliness standards

I went into Rock Fitness since I was visiting the area and my mom is already a member there. It took this place a while to get off the ground but it finally opened up.
This gym is very small so don’t expect some LA Fitness or Powerhouse Gym size. That’s not what you’re going to the gym for though — you’re going to get a workout.
The size of the gym makes it pretty quiet. I love this aspect of Rock Fitness since my workouts are really my «me time» and too many people in a gym can make me incredibly nervous.
There are not a ton of cardio machines but there are enough for a small gym. All of them are brand new and have great little TVs attached to them. It’s nice to be able to watch TV while you’re working out since it really helps the time fly by.
The gym is also very clean. While I was there, I saw one of the employees wiping down all the machines to make sure they were sanitized. This is SUPER important since some people who go to the gym are so damn lazy that they can’t wipe down machines. Some gyms don’t even clean the machines at all. Gross.
I loved the atmosphere and the simplicity of this place. I would definitely inquire about a membership if I were to live in the area!

This place is off to an okay start. It seemed like it would never open after months of delays and not returning phone calls. But finally it did.
About half the staff is exceedingly friendly and half are rude and inattentive. Hopefully the rude ones are bounced soon. The gym itself is nice. Small but nice. If membership picks up, it could get cramped.
The weight sections an the stretching section could probably stand to be swapped. Having an actual squat rack is great and a few weight benches is nice too. It needs more adjustable benches for dumbbell exercises though.
All in all, could be worse, could be better. Hopefully they improve.

Rock Fitness just opened down the street so my roommate and I just attempted to use our 3 day trial passes to see if we liked it. What a mistake. We walked in and the place was completely empty besides the 5 people who worked there all surrounding the front desk. It was a very small open floor plan «room» with tons of machines all crammed in. Immediately we got attitude from the girl at the front who had no idea what she was doing. When we presented our IDs we were told we could not work out because we did not have FL IDs since we had just moved here about a month and a half ago from out of state. We were turned away rudely. Thank goodness there are a ton of other gyms in West Palm Beach.

You would think that a new gym would like to sell memberships. Well that is not the case with Rock Fitness. As soon as my roommate and I walked through the door we were greeted (if you could call it that) by a rude woman at the front desk. We wanted to try the gym out before joining, as we have just moved to the neighborhood. We presented our three day guest passes and she immediately gave us an attitude. She then got someone from the back who told us we could not use the guest passes because neither one of us have Florida identification cards. He said we could pay $ 10 for a trial. There are plenty I other gyms in the West Palm Beach area, so we have decided to take our business elsewhere. It’s unfortunate that bad employees can ruin a potentially successful new business.
